Chapter 28
Cthulhu World 1
The crew set sail once more toward another adventure, another island.
This time, their destination was Whiskey Peak, known as the Town of Welcome.
After the atmosphere aboard the ship calmed, Arthur quietly withdrew to one of the rooms.
He sat there alone, leaning against the wall, contemplating in silence, leaving the crew's noise and laughter behind him.
A few minutes passed before he opened his eyes.
Personal Window
| Name: Arthur Narin
| Age: 18
| Level: 130
| Strength: 3500
| Agility: 2000
| Endurance: 1200
| Intelligence: 100
| Devil Fruit: None
| Haki: None |
| Personal Points: 20 |
Hmm… my strength is good for now, but it's been a while since my last serious training.
He studied the number of personal points, then exhaled slowly.
Twenty points… not enough to create any real progress.
He raised his right hand, and the black combat sword appeared in his grasp.
He began swinging it within the room, and with every motion, he gradually increased its weight.
Each swing pressed harder against his muscles, breaking his limits slowly and ruthlessly.
The journey toward Whiskey Peak lasted a full week.
For six consecutive days, Arthur barely left his room.
He had informed the crew beforehand of his intention to train in isolation, then shut himself inside and began his personal hell.
He left only for food or to bathe.
At times, he could hear the crew's laughter, their conversations, their enjoyment of the voyage…
but he did not respond.
He continued training without pause.
On the sixth day, he finally stopped.
His body was drenched in sweat, his breathing heavy, and his muscles far firmer than before.
Even his height had increased slightly, as though his body had been forcibly reforged.
Personal Window
| Name: Arthur Narin
| Age: 18
| Level: 220
| Strength: 5000
| Agility: 4500
| Endurance: 3000
| Intelligence: 100
| Devil Fruit: None
| Haki: None |
| Personal Points: 20 |
Then the system window appeared, longer than any before it.
| Congratulations, Host. Due to your diligence and refusal to give up,
| you have reached a new level and obtained several rewards. |
| First: You have received 2000 personal points.
| Second: You have obtained 2 Miraculous Healing Elixirs.
| Third: You may now extract 2 elixirs per day without consequences.
| Fourth: You have received a stored reward in the inventory.
| Fifth: The Heavenly Store has been unlocked. |
Arthur was breathing heavily.
He fell to the floor, lying on his back, struggling to catch his breath.
After calming down slightly, he began reading the details carefully.
Good… 2000 points.
Two healing elixirs, and I can extract two daily instead of one… excellent.
A stored reward, I'll check that later.
Then he stopped.
"Huh?"
His gaze fixed on the last line.
The Heavenly Store?
System… what is the Heavenly Store?
| The Heavenly Store is a place where you can spend personal points
| in exchange for purchasing what you desire.
| Weapons – Techniques – Potions – and more. |
"Hmm… that's interesting.
Where is this Heavenly Store?"
The moment he spoke its name, a massive window appeared before him, larger than any previous one.
At the top, written in elegant script:
Heavenly Store
Beside the title, his total personal points were displayed.
Below it, five sections opened:
| 1 – Weapons
| 2 – Techniques
| 3 – Potions
| 4 – Clothing
| 5 – Food |
Arthur noticed other sections further below… but they were locked.
Perhaps because I'm too weak… or there's another requirement.
No matter, let's see what's available.
He began browsing Food and found every possible type—
food from his previous world, food from the world of One Piece, even dishes he had never heard of before, such as the Thousand-Soul Fish and the Pure Heavenly Qilin, and more.
Then Clothing.
Then Potions.
The potions were varied:
Healing – Enhancement – Stat Increase.
Potions are useful… but expensive.
The cheapest potion was:
Body Enhancement Potion (Level One)
Price: 1500 points.
The rest… had terrifying prices.
The most expensive among them:
Miraculous Healing Potion ????
Ruler's Power Potion ????
No price was listed beside them.
Arthur quickly left the Potions section and moved to Techniques, then Weapons.
He saved Weapons for last.
By nature, he did not rely heavily on them.
In his previous life, he had been a mad killer…
a king of death who used simple weapons or only his body.
His fists, his legs, and anything that could be turned into an instrument of killing.
There was another reason as well:
the Bracelet of the King of Weapons alone was sufficient.
He skimmed through the weapons…
expensive, like everything else.
He sighed and closed the store without purchasing anything.
Returning to the personal window, he smiled faintly.
"System… has a new world been discovered for a mission?"
| Yes, but you must be cautious. |
Why? What world is this? And why caution?
| Initiating transfer.
| Transfer will be conducted via physical transportation. |
(Physical Transportation: Transfer of both body and soul.)
(Spiritual Transportation: Transfer of the soul only into another body.)
"Damn it… why caution? What's happening?"
A dark, blood-tinged aura gathered around Arthur's body.
He felt deep disgust and an indescribable hatred emanating from it.
The aura coiled around him…
as if attempting to devour him.
After a few seconds—
Arthur's body vanished from the ship.
---
Between worlds…
between stars and galaxies…
across unknown dimensions…
A mysterious entity pierced a new planet upon being summoned.
The dark entity… Cthulhu.
