"Yes." I say to Sayaka.
"W-Why? Didn't you not want to help me earlier?" Sayaka questions me.
"I changed my mind. Your speech was... very beautiful, much like you" I say.
"W-What?! I'm not..." She lowers her head.
I lift up her chin, making her look at my eyes "Yes, yes you are."
She blushes furiously. I let go of her chin, looking at her green eyes.
'The best way to make someone stop being in love with someone, is by making them fall for someone else' I never really planned on helping her, because of her whole 'fate' speech. If it was fated for her to only love Yui, then I could change that fate to where she falls in love for me instead. As for Carla? She's too good for me, Yui deserves her way more than I do. So I pretend to 'help' her while making my move on her. Simple enough right? Except the fact that, I SOUNDED SO CRINGE AHHHHHH.
My face is a bit red but I continue "With your looks, you'll be able to steal Yui's heart, probably."
Sayaka, still extremely flustered, says, "I-I'm not sure, am I r-really that pretty?"
"You most definitely are." I say.
"M-More beautiful than those two in your group?" She asks me.
I hesitate for a second, if I say yes, there may be no turning back, if I say no, the whole plan I set up may become even more difficult. "...Yes."
Her face lightens up, I immediately know what she's thinking, after all... Sayaka in the original story, falls in love with people very fast. Although if her interest in that person is very high, it takes longer for her to switch to someone else. This part of the story is called, the aquarium incident. Yui, to overcome his antisocial personality, talks to Sayaka and tells her to stop loving him. Which in turn, backfires and makes her fall for him even more. Then she constantly tries to get Yui's attention which makes it harder or Carla to end up with him, so to prevent that, I'm making her fall for me before Yui talks to Sayaka.
Her eyes now full of hearts says, "S-So if I were to let's say, k-kiss you, would you like it?"
I take a deep breath, knowing that I need to keep Sayaka's interest on me more than she does on Yui to make it easier for Carla to end up with Yui, I say, "I wouldn't just like it-" My heart beats rapidly, ready for the consequences for what I'm about to say.
"-I would love it." I brace myself for what's about to happen.
Without hesitation, she pounces on me. Forcing her lips onto mine as she loses full control. I embrace the kiss. She deepens the kiss, not caring for any onlookers, only focused on me. I break the kiss.
Panting, I say "Hah... you went too far. You didn't even warn me."
"I don't care... you're mine now. Forever" She says, her eyes full of lust as if she wants to devour me.
"Jeez... we're in public you know." I say, looking at the onlookers who witnessed our public display of affection. To make it even worse, Carla, Yui, and Yuki had also witnessed it. Their eyes looked shocked, and Yuki? She looked at me with disgust. I knew what I did was definitely wrong, but I had to do it. If I want Carla to have her happy ending.
"Let them watch. Or is it because the girls are in that crowd? I'm the only one you need. You don't need anyone else." She says, her voice dripping with venom, as if the moment I step out of turn, she'd end my life, right then and there. That terrified me.
I hesitate before I eventually answered.
