Third person
The morning after the chaos, peace did not return to the kingdom of Silverreach. The elders and nobles had returned the previous night, filled with contempt for the king and anger for his son.
They wanted Rain out of the line of succession, but their reasons were not tangible enough. He was blessed and bestowed that honor at birth. Only if the king got a fated mate would he have the opportunity to change the crown prince, but that was far from happening.
The words on their lips were that the crown prince had gone bad. Some said he was not fit to rule, while others added that a man as weak as the crown prince would be a disgrace to the lifelong integrity Silverreach had held over the centuries.
Never in the history of their kingdom had an omega succeeded. The throne had always been passed down from one alpha to another, but now… an omega, a creature meant to serve, was next in line. It was outrageous and preposterous in the direst way.
