The court session ended with nothing tangible. The king backed up Prince Marcus and Sebastian despite everyone else being in favor of the crown prince. Like always, his words were law, and he had just passed judgment on Rhett.
Everyone, aside from Prince Marcus and Sebastian, walked out with a long face. Marcus invited the others to his wing, but one after the other, they gave flimsy excuses and walked out. Prince Victor was the last to leave, and all he said was...

Marcus snarled, but Victor was already gone.
He walked into his wing with a heavy mind. When he arrived and slammed the door behind him, someone was waiting, and it was just who he needed.
