"Ayesha!"
Zayn's scream tore through the street.
She lay on the ground.
Pale.
Motionless.
Blood slowly spreading beneath her.
Ryan rushed forward.
"Call an ambulance!" he shouted.
Zayn was already dialing.
His hands were shaking.
"Please… pick up… please…"
Minutes felt like hours.
Finally—
The ambulance arrived.
Inside the Ambulance
Ayesha's eyes were half open.
Her breathing was weak.
"Stay with me," Zayn whispered desperately.
"Please… don't leave me…"
She tried to speak.
But no sound came out.
The monitor beeped faster.
"BP is dropping!" the paramedic said.
"We're losing her!"
Zayn held her hand tightly.
"I'm sorry," he cried.
"I was wrong. I believed lies. I hurt you."
Tears fell on her fingers.
"Please… wake up…"
Ryan stood silently.
His heart breaking.
At the Hospital
"Emergency surgery!" the doctor shouted.
"She's having internal bleeding."
"And the baby?" Zayn asked in panic.
The doctor looked serious.
"We'll try to save both."
"But…"
"But what?" Ryan asked.
"There is a high risk," the doctor said.
"You must be prepared."
Zayn's world collapsed.
They rushed her inside.
The doors closed.
Red light turned on.
Outside the Operation Room
Zayn sat on the floor.
Head in hands.
"I failed her," he whispered.
Ryan stood beside him.
"If she survives," Ryan said quietly,
"don't hurt her again."
Zayn looked up.
"I'll spend my whole life protecting her."
Hours passed.
No news.
No sound.
Only fear.
Finally—
The doctor came out.
Both men jumped up.
"How is she?!" they asked together.
The doctor sighed.
"She's alive."
Relief flooded them.
"But…"
Their hearts stopped.
"But the baby is in danger."
"If she wakes up…"
"She may have to choose."
"Her life…"
"Or the baby's."
Inside the ICU—
Ayesha slowly opened her eyes…
And whispered—
"Save… my baby…"
Even if it costs my life.
