The scene of carnage was shocking.
Bodies littered the ground like abandoned items in chaos. Blood and limbs strewn all over the floor, looking as if they had just come out of Hell.
It was a scene that made her feel nauseated. The stench of blood was extremely strong and undeniable.
And it was all done by the man in front of her.
Aurora should be afraid of him, especially now that the look in his eyes wasn't normal. The way the corner of his lips twisted into a sickening smile made anyone feel as if a monster was staring at them with hunger and bloodthirsty.
Her mind was calling for her to get away from him. He was too dangerous.
But her body didn't listen as she stayed close, hands holding his face. His hands lifted to cover her own as he tilted his head slightly, acting like a cat leaning in to their owner's touch.
