Chapter 216 - Chapter 216: Do You Know Goku?

"Right! I'm a friend of Saonel and Pirina. We've met before, and we got along quite well!" Cabba added quickly, trying to use familiar names to close the distance.

"Saonel? Pirina?" Moori frowned and thought for a long time, but ultimately shook his head with a look of confusion. "Who are they? I've never heard those two names."

"Eh? You don't know them? They're fighting-type Namekians, and they're very strong!" Cabba was astonished, scratching his head in bewilderment.

"Never heard of them," Moori shook his head again, his tone certain.

"Strange... this is definitely Namek, right?" Cabba asked again, afraid he'd been transported to some weird planet.

"Yes, this is New Namek," Moori nodded, his gaze still alert.

"Then who is the Great Elder here?" Cabba didn't give up and continued to press.

"I am the Great Elder of Namek. My name is Moori," Moori replied, his gaze moving between Cabba and Hit.

"Eh? Isn't the Great Elder of Namek Pirina? When did it change? Could he have already..." Cabba's voice grew smaller, a trace of unease rising in his heart. Did something happen?

"You said you're a Saiyan?" Moori suddenly snapped out of it and interrupted him, asking urgently, "In that case, you must know Goku, right? Son Goku!"

"Goku? Who's he?" Cabba scratched his head, looking blank. After all, in the martial arts tournament between Universe 6 and Universe 7, Son Goku hadn't appeared. Cabba had no impression of the name.

"You know Son Goku?" Hit's expression shifted slightly. He took a step forward and asked, his gaze sharpening, "Could it be that this is Universe 7?"

"That's right, this is New Namek in Universe 7," Moori nodded, then asked in return, "Are you not from Universe 7?"

"Ah? This is Universe 7!" Cabba gave a bitter smile and turned to Hit, helplessly spreading his hands. "That wormhole actually transported us directly from Universe 6 to Universe 7? This is way too ridiculous!"

"It's not impossible," Hit nodded silently, the unease in his heart growing stronger. Cross-universe transport was no accident; something big was likely about to happen.

"Well, that's fine! Since we're in Universe 7, I can go pay my respects to my master, Vegeta!" Cabba suddenly perked up, his eyes lighting up. He quickly asked Moori, "Great Elder, do you know Mr. Vegeta? Where is he now?"

"Mr. Vegeta... he should be living on Earth right now," Moori recalled. "He's been here a few times with Son Goku."

"On Earth... do you know the exact location? We're his friends and came specifically to visit him!" Cabba said with a smile, his tone full of expectation.

"A Saiyan from Universe 6, how rare!" Moori marveled, his expression softening considerably. "I didn't expect Saiyans to have branches from other universes."

The two sides began to chat amicably. Cabba chattered away about Earth, and Moori patiently answered each question. Just as the atmosphere was becoming harmonious, Hit suddenly looked up at the sky, his brow furrowing sharply, and the aura around him instantly turned ice-cold.

"What's wrong, Hit?" Cabba noticed his change and quickly stopped talking.

"Someone has come to this planet, and that guy's aura is very evil, carrying a heavy scent of blood," Hit said in a low voice, his gaze locked onto a certain direction in the sky.

"Eh? Who's here? We're not familiar with the villains of Universe 7!" Cabba's face changed, and he also looked up nervously.

...

At this moment, the spaceship carrying Moro and Cranbes had appeared above Namek, circling directly over the village like a greedy crow.

"Mr. Moro, look! Below are the Namekians, they're all still alive!" Cranbes pointed at the green figures on the screen, speaking excitedly. "One of the Dragon Balls must be in this village!"

"That's good," Moro nodded slowly, a bloodthirsty light flashing in his cloudy eyes.

"Besides those Namekians, there are two other aliens... could they be here for tourism?" Cranbes stared at Cabba and Hit on the screen, guessing with some confusion.

"It doesn't matter. Find the Dragon Balls first. If other small fry get in the way, deal with them all at once," Moro chuckled, his tone full of disdain. He then issued an order: "Land the spaceship in the center of that village."

"Yes, Mr. Moro!" Cranbes immediately controlled the ship to land. The massive hull, with the sound of whistling wind, slammed heavily into the open space of the village, the dust it kicked up almost choking the surrounding Namekians.

The spaceship's hatch opened with a creak, and Moro, leaning on a withered wooden staff, slowly stepped out. Moro was hunched over, his white beard was messy, and his cloudy eyes scanned the surrounding Namekians like he was looking at prey.

Hit's brow furrowed even tighter, his hands already prepared for battle. This evil aura was colder than any opponent Hit had ever seen. Cabba also stopped smiling, silently observing Moro and muttering in a low voice: "This guy's energy is indeed very evil, but seeing how old he is, walking with a staff, he shouldn't pose much of a threat, right?"

"Baaa..."

Moro suddenly let out a strange goat-like cry toward the sky, took a deep breath, and showed an intoxicated expression: "After ten million years, I finally breathe the fresh air outside again. This feeling is like being reborn."

"Who are you? What are you doing on Namek?" Moori took a step forward, blocking the children. Although he was afraid, he still asked with forced composure.

Moro gave a contemptuous smile, completely ignoring the question. He suddenly raised a hand, his withered fingers making a grabbing motion toward a stone house nearby.

Bang!

The wall of the stone house was instantly shattered by an invisible force. Amidst the flying debris, a small Namekian named Esca, who was hiding for hide-and-seek, was directly wrapped in invisible magic and flew out with a scream.

Snap!

Moro steadily grabbed Esca by the back of the neck, holding him like a small chick, despite the little fellow's desperate struggle.

"You... what are you doing! Let go of Esca! He's just a child!" Moori was horrified.

"Hey! You've gone too far! Attacking a child!" Cabba was furious, his aura instantly exploding, his fists clenched tightly.

Hit said nothing, but his gaze was as cold as ice, and he quietly moved half a step forward.

"Don't mind me, I just haven't eaten for a long time and I'm a bit hungry," Moro smiled lightly, his fingers beginning to apply pressure. Esca's screams became increasingly shrill.

"You... what did you say? Are you going to eat him?" Cabba's eyes widened in shock, unable to believe his ears. "You really are a demon! A total demon!"

"Thanks for the compliment!" Moro snorted, the strength in his hand increasing further. Esca's face was already turning purple.

"Time Skip!"

At that moment, Hit suddenly moved! Hit's figure flashed like a ghost, leaving only a faint afterimage. The next second, he appeared behind Moro. Without hesitation, Hit delivered a heavy blow with his energy-condensed right fist to Moro's back.

Bang!

Moro didn't even have time to react. He was sent flying forward by the punch, crashing heavily to the ground in a standard face-plant, his wooden staff flying away. Esca took the opportunity to break free from his grasp.

Hit flashed and steadily caught the falling Esca, quickly handing him to the Great Elder Moori who had rushed over.

"Thank you! Thank you! Thank you so much!" Moori held Esca and bowed repeatedly to Hit and Cabba, his voice full of gratitude.

"It's dangerous here. Take the villagers and evacuate immediately," Hit said in a low voice, his gaze never leaving Moro on the ground.

"This... this is so embarrassing, it's clearly our planet..." Moori's mouth twitched, somewhat hesitant.

"It's fine. Leave this to us, Elder Moori!" Cabba waved his finger, showing a confident smile, his body already beginning to glow with golden light. "I've trained hard since I went back. It's the perfect time for me to experience the evil power of Universe 7!"

"Alright then! You must be careful! This guy looks very hard to deal with!" Moori didn't hesitate any longer and hurriedly called the villagers. "Everyone, follow me! Hide in the cave behind the village!"

After saying that, Moori led the villagers in a hurried evacuation, leaving only Cabba, Hit, and the newly risen Moro. Moro slowly climbed up from the ground, patted the dust off his clothes, his face becoming increasingly grim, his eyes full of killing intent.

"I haven't had a full meal in a long time, and you actually dared to interrupt me!" Moro stared coldly at Hit, the anger in his tone almost erupting. "You guy with a head like a bird, you've got quite some nerve!"

Hit: "..."

Hit's face instantly darkened, and the air pressure around him dropped sharply. How can this guy talk so nastily?

"Hit, let me test his mettle first?" Cabba stretched his arms and legs, then cracked his neck, his joints making a click-clack sound, as he proposed to Hit.

Hit nodded silently and took two steps back, leaving the battlefield to him.

"Hey! Old man, what's your name!" Cabba pointed at Moro and shouted, the golden light around him growing stronger.

"A nobody has no right to know my name," Moro smiled contemptuously, his gaze full of disdain, as if looking at an ant.

"Am I being looked down upon by you?" Cabba snorted, the golden light on his body suddenly erupting. His hair turned gold, and his pupils turned emerald green as he directly entered the Super Saiyan transformation. The powerful energy made the ground tremble slightly. "Don't think being old makes you special. Today, I'll let you taste my power!"

"What? You think glowing gold will let you defeat me?" Moro curled his lip indifferently, not even bothering to condense magic. "Truly terrifyingly ignorant! Better let that bird-head who can teleport come and fight me; you're not qualified."

Cabba said no more. His golden aura exploded as he turned into a dazzling streak of golden light, with the sharp sound of breaking air, charging fiercely toward Moro. Cabba's fists were clenched tight as he launched a series of fierce attacks at Moro's chest, abdomen, and face, the wind from his punches making the surrounding debris rustle.

Moro, however, never engaged him head-on. His hunched body dodged back and forth like a ghost, each time narrowly avoiding Cabba's attacks, even finding the time to straighten his messy cloak.

...

In the distant cliffs, Elder Moori led the villagers in hiding in a narrow cave, nervously watching the battlefield through a crack in the rocks.

"Great Elder, can those two outsiders do it? Should we contact Mr. Goku for help?" a young Namekian asked anxiously, his fingers tightly gripping the corner of his clothes.

"You're right, we can't wait any longer!" Moori nodded heavily and immediately closed his eyes, his hands together, turning his thoughts into waves and sending them toward distant Earth. He wanted to contact Dende at the Lookout of Earth.

On the Lookout of Earth, Dende was tending to the flowers and plants around the altar when he suddenly felt a familiar telepathic ripple. He quickly stopped what he was doing and closed his eyes to receive the message.

"Grand Elder? You're saying... a wicked old guy has run off to New Namek? There are two people from Universe 6 fighting him right now, but it looks like they're no match?" Dende snapped his eyes open, his expression turning grave as he asked.

"Yes, Dende. Quickly contact Mr. Goku and see if he can come over to help!" Muli's telepathy was carrying a noticeable tremble.

"Alright, Grand Elder, I'll contact Mr. Goku right away!" Dende didn't dare to delay. He immediately turned and shouted to Piccolo, who was not far away, "Mr. Piccolo! This is bad! Something's happened on New Namek!"

Piccolo walked over quickly. After hearing Dende's relay of the situation, his brows furrowed tightly. "I'll contact Old Son. His Instant Transmission is the fastest."

With that, Piccolo closed his eyes and established contact through telepathy with Son Goku, who was currently at home accompanying Gohan in his training.

Almost the instant the telepathic message ended, a flash of white light appeared. Son Goku was already standing on the Lookout, still covered in sweat from his training. "What's up, Piccolo? What happened on New Namek?"

"You sure got here fast." Piccolo smiled and pointed at Dende. "I'll let Dende tell you the specifics. Someone is causing trouble on Namek."

"Is that so?" Goku's eyes lit up, and he instantly perked up. "I've been so bored lately I'm practically growing mold. This is the perfect chance to stretch my limbs! I'd better get over there right away!"

"I'm going too. I might be able to help." Piccolo placed his hand directly on Goku's shoulder, his eyes carrying a bit of anticipation.

"Alright!" Goku nodded, just about to trigger Instant Transmission.

Piccolo suddenly spoke up, "Don't we need to call Vegeta?"

"No need, it shouldn't be anything major." Goku laughed, waving his hand dismissively. "With you and me there, we can definitely handle it!"

"True enough. With you stepping in, there really shouldn't be a problem." Piccolo smiled, then changed the subject. "But unless it's absolutely necessary, don't step in first. I want to resolve this crisis on New Namek myself."

"No problem!" Goku readily agreed and activated Instant Transmission. In the blink of an eye, he and Piccolo vanished.

...

New Namek.

Cabba was chasing Moro, attacking relentlessly, but he couldn't even touch the corner of the other's clothes.

After several dodges, Moro suddenly pulled back dozens of meters from Cabba. His withered hands snapped up and then pressed down.

Hum—

An invisible magic spread out like a tide, instantly acting upon Cabba.

Cabba felt his body grow heavy, as if it had been filled with lead, and he fell straight from the sky.

Bang!

With a dull thud, Cabba slammed heavily onto the ground. His limbs were completely out of control; even moving a single finger was exceptionally difficult.

"Strange... what's going on? Why can't my body move?" Cabba lay on the ground, looking stunned, his golden aura dimming quite a bit.

Moro gave a contemptuous smile and raised a hand from a distance. The invisible magic wrapped around Cabba again, yanking his body back up into the air.

Immediately after, Moro gave a light flick of his wrist, and Cabba flew out like a broken kite.

Boom!

Cabba slammed into the cliff behind him.

The hard rock instantly collapsed, kicking up a massive cloud of dust and burying Cabba under the pile of rubble.

Hit stood to the side, observing silently. His brow twitched slightly as he snorted coldly, "Magic manipulation?"

"You certainly know a lot." Moro turned to look at Hit, a weird smile curling his lips. "That ability you used on me just now—it was the power to control time, wasn't it?"

Hit's brows rose, his expression becoming a bit more solemn.

This old goat actually saw through his time control in a single glance?

"I never thought that after ten million years, someone could control time so excellently. It really surprises me." Moro looked at Hit with a smile, his eyes full of scrutiny. "But don't be in a hurry. Once I've dealt with your companion, it'll be your turn immediately."

Boom!

Just then, a massive roar came from the rubble pile not far away, and a fiery red light broke through the smoke and dust.

Moro turned to look. He saw Cabba's entire body burning with a roaring fiery red flame, and his hair had also turned a dazzling fiery red. It was the Super Saiyan God form!

"Come on! You old fossil, let's see you dodge this time!" A thick sense of confidence appeared on Cabba's face, his voice carrying the scorching heat of the flames.

"Oh? The hair color changed? Interesting." Moro smiled, but his eyes were still full of disdain.

Cabba turned into a fiery red streak of light, his speed several times faster than before. He rushed in front of Moro in an instant and threw a punch.

Moro didn't dodge this time. He crossed his arms in front of his chest and took the punch head-on.

Bang!

With a dull thud, Moro was knocked back two steps.

Cabba took the opportunity to raise his leg and kick him hard in the chin.

Moro's body flipped in the air, and he nearly fell over.

However, Moro quickly stabilized himself. He wiped the blood from the corner of his mouth, his face instantly turning hideous as a flash of killing intent crossed his eyes.

"You're not all that great after all. I thought you were so strong you didn't even dare to say your name." Cabba mocked, hands on his hips, looking quite smug.

Moro didn't speak. He merely made a grabbing motion from a distance. A large tree not far away was instantly snapped and, under the control of magic, shot toward Cabba like a spear.

Cabba backhanded it away. The tree was instantly swatted aside, smashing onto the ground and breaking into several pieces.

Immediately after, Moro manipulated the surrounding rocks and tree trunks, launching an attack on Cabba like a rainstorm.

"Is this the best you can do?" Cabba snorted coldly. A fiery red energy ball condensed in his palm. With a casual wave, the energy ball exploded, turning all the flying debris into powder. "I'm the ace member of the Sadala Defense Forces. What kind of weird enemies haven't I seen in the universe? You think you can beat me with just these tricks?"

Moro was slightly stunned, then his mouth curled up into a weird arc.

Then, Moro suddenly ripped off his cloak and tossed it behind him with a flourish, revealing his bone-thin body, his skin covered in ancient patterns.

"Very well. Since you're so confident, I'll let you see my true magic!" Moro gave a hideous laugh, his voice full of madness.

"What? You mean you're still hiding some trump card?" Cabba snorted, the flames around him burning even brighter.

"I have plenty of moves. You won't be laughing for long." As Moro spoke, he suddenly let out a series of screams. His aged voice shook the surrounding air.

Rumble!

The ground beneath Moro's feet instantly split open. Hideous cracks spread in all directions, seemingly bottomless.

Rumble!

The massive roar sounded again. Pillars of magma-like fire rose from deep within the earth, forming a fire wall several meters high that surrounded the entire battlefield.

Moro stood in the center of the fire wall, his arms spread wide as if embracing the flames, a fanatical smile on his face.

Cabba's expression finally changed, and he instinctively took a step back.

The energy contained within these flames was far more terrifying than he had imagined.

"What kind of weird move is this?" Cabba muttered under his breath, a sense of unease rising in his heart.

Moro's mouth curled up, his smile becoming even more brilliant as he beckoned with his finger toward the ground beneath Cabba's feet.

Cabba looked confused. "What? If you've got tricks, just use them!"

But the next second, Cabba felt a scorching heat coming from beneath his feet, and a strong sense of unease surged in his heart.

Boom!

A thick pillar of fire erupted from the ground beneath Cabba, instantly covering his body.

Caught off guard, Cabba was unfortunately hit. The fiery red divine flames collided with the magic fire from the ground, making a "sizzling" sound.

However, Cabba reacted extremely quickly. He immediately erupted with energy and rushed out, falling onto the ground somewhat disheveled, his battle suit burned in several places.

Hit stood to the side, his brow furrowing even tighter.

These flames weren't right. They were mixed with the planet's life energy.

"This move involves extracting the planet's life energy and turning it into flames." Moro explained with a smile, his tone full of smugness. "The power has nothing to do with my own strength; it all depends on how strong the energy of this planet itself is! I didn't expect this Planet Namek to be hiding such high-quality energy. What a pleasant surprise!"

With that, Moro waved his hand again. More flames surged from deep within the earth, pouncing toward Cabba like venomous snakes.

Cabba didn't dare to be careless. He dodged back and forth, jumping continuously.

However, these flames were everywhere, with almost no blind spots.
