On the other hand, at Moon Corporation, Robert's polished shoes clicked against the marble floor as he approached Felix's office to deliver a document for his signature. As he reached the office, Robert rapped twice on the glass, the sound echoing faintly. Felix's new assistant, Peter, walked over to the door and cracked it open a sliver, his expression guarded.
'Mr. Robert,' Peter stammered, his voice barely audible. 'Perhaps this isn't a good time...'
Robert raised an eyebrow, intrigue sparking in his eyes. 'Is Sir Felix busy?'
Peter's eyes darted around the room, nervously avoiding Robert's gaze. 'Well, you could say that.'
Robert leaned closer, his voice dropping to a whisper. 'Peter, is there someone else in the room? Is Sir Felix engaging in any inappropriate behaviour with a woman in the office?'
Peter's face flushed, his eyes widening. 'Robert, how can you say such things? Do you really think Sir Felix would stoop so low as to engage in such behaviour in the office? My boss is a responsible person,' Peter responded, frowning at Robert's insinuations.
Robert scoffed, his suspicion deepening. 'Then let me in. I need to see for myself. I have to personally hand him this document to sign. Sir Michael specifically instructed me to do so.' He pushed the door open further.
'It's all right. Let him in,' Felix's voice came from inside the office. Peter stepped aside, allowing Robert to enter. Stepping inside, Robert's eyes snagged on an unexpected sight - a vibrant bouquet of lilies bursting with colour, gracing the pristine coffee table. His brow furrowed in surprise.
'Boss... Sir Michael wants you to sign this,' Robert said, handing Felix the document. He couldn't help but wonder why there were flowers in Felix's office. He knew Felix wasn't the type to flirt with women. So, he wondered if Felix had developed feelings for someone, similar to Michael. Could this person be of lowly birth? Taking a deep breath, he pondered if the Njemanze brothers were destined to marry women from poor backgrounds instead of wealthy and sophisticated individuals like Jessica.
As Felix lowered his head to review the document, Robert's gaze remained fixed on the bouquet. Finishing with the document, Felix signed it with a flourish.
'It seems you have sharp eyes,' Felix looked up at Robert and remarked. 'Do you like the bouquet?'
Robert laughed awkwardly.
'Here, take this back to Michael.' Felix handed the document back to Robert.
After Robert left the office, Peter placed a cup of coffee before Felix and spoke, 'I could have delivered the bouquet to the girl before Robert saw it.'
'There's no point in hiding my feelings for Chioma. Anyone could see it, right?' Felix innocently shrugged.
'Boss, I must say you're quite the romantic! It's impressive that someone as busy as you went to the florist shop to buy these flowers for Chioma. Madam Audrey mentioned seeing her with her friends, so maybe I could deliver the flowers to her house?' Peter suggested, his excitement evident.

'Indeed, there are differences among people,' Felix said, casting a cold glance at Peter. 'What kind of brain do you have? I'm sure you're just a freeloader.'
Peter smiled awkwardly and asked, 'Then, where should I...?'
'Audrey will send the flowers to her. It's best that way,' Felix decided, dismissing any further discussion on the matter.
