On Highdawn 17, 1850 AC (Arbiter Calendar), Alistair woke up early in the morning and took an Aura Pill, as his Aura Color Level had increased from Level 2 to Level 3. This allowed him to maintain his Aura abilities for an additional 30 seconds. As he headed downstairs, he found his older sister, Ismeria, cooking breakfast. Alistair asked her where their mother was.
Ismeria replied, "Mother is currently training in her martial arts technique called the Earth-Shattering Fist Technique." Curious, Alistair asked, "Can you tell me more about Mother's technique, Big Sister Ismeria?"
While preparing food, Ismeria explained, "Let's see, the Earth-Shattering Fist Technique allows the user to release and surround themselves with earth for both defensive and offensive purposes. Since Mother has ascended to the Early Aura Transformation Realm, she has gained one defensive ability and one offensive ability. The first ability is called Earth Fist Wall, which enables her to create a wall from the ground. This wall can also be transformed into an offensive attack by converting it into a fist that deals area damage. The second ability is Fist Earthquake, which allows her to send a barrage of punches into the ground, causing the earth to shake within a 10-meter radius around her."
"So, Mother has both offensive and defensive abilities. How about you, Big Sister Ismeria? Can you tell me about your Aura abilities?" Alistair asked, his eyes sparkling with curiosity toward his sister.
"Of course, Alistair! My aura ability is called Attack Amplification. This ability allows me to enhance the offensive capabilities of myself or others, enabling us to achieve high-level mastery and control instantaneously. The biggest advantage of this ability is that it cannot be stolen or given to others; it only enhances either myself or the target I choose. Since I prefer solo or duo hunting missions with Lyra, I typically use Attack Amplification for myself and her."
"That's my main aura ability. In addition, I have three aura abilities for attacking or defending against hostile foes. The first is Heavy Sword Strike, the second is Heavy Fist Barrage Strike, and the third is Heavy Slam Strike. I refer to this set of abilities as the Heavy Strike Technique. The Heavy Strike Technique allows me to significantly increase the impact and force of my physical attacks, focusing on dealing tremendous damage, especially during intense battles."
"Did you understand what I said, Alistair?" Ismeria laughed, noticing that Alistair was thinking hard and making a funny face. "You can take your time. Once your Aura Color is revealed, let us know so we can help you." Ismeria patted Alistair's head with a smile.
"But, Big Sister Ismeria, most of your abilities focus on attacking. Do you have any defensive abilities?" Ismeria smiled as she finished preparing a lovely breakfast. "Yes, I do have defensive abilities. Since I primarily act as an attacker and buffer, I always need to have at least one or two defensive skills. However, this particular defensive ability is quite basic for aura users. It's called Aura Concealment, which allows any aura user to hide their aura, preventing others from noticing it. Right now, my Aura Concealment has reached between the Intermediate and Advanced Level, making me undetectable by those in the Mid to Late Aura Transformation Realm. It's very convenient, so I suggest you practice learning Aura Concealment as well. It's especially useful if you… if you… decide to leave Leaf Village..."
Suddenly, Ismeria hugged Alistair. "But I won't allow you to leave the Leaf Village. I think it's best for you to stay here." She smiled at Alistair and said, "Alright, that's enough. Please call your sister and your mother; breakfast is ready." Alistair nodded and went outside to call his mother and his older sister, Lyra.
As the family ate their breakfast, Alistair was whispering to the system. However, the system informed him that he could simply use his mind to convey his thoughts instead of whispering since it was connected to him.
"Alistair," the system continued, "I will now present you with three gifts that have been personally chosen by me.
The first gift is an Advice System. Whenever you have difficulty understanding your skills, abilities, thoughts, knowledge, or anything else challenging to comprehend, you can use the Advice System, and it will provide you with the answers you need.
The second gift is called Fortification Blast, an ability that converts the damage you have taken while using the Basic Aura Fortification and directs it toward a designated target of your choice. The advantage of this ability is that it allows you to switch from defense to offense. However, the disadvantage is that you will be weakened momentarily after using it.
The third gift is an item known as the Basic Medic Kit. Every 24 hours, this kit will produce a potion that enables you to heal light wounds. It is recommended for use during sparring sessions, duels, and hunting missions."
Alistair consulted the advice system to learn how to activate his Aura Abilities. The system informed him that activation depended on his Will and Patience. As Alistair continued eating his meal, he followed the advice given by the system. Suddenly, his body glowed yellow, and everyone at the dining table stopped eating, shocked by his newfound ability to release his Aura Color.
His mother, Astrid, was the first to react. "Aura Color Yellow! You did it, my son! I can't believe you released your Aura Color in just a few days. If it's Yellow, that means it reflects your willpower." Alistair's two older sisters rushed to give him a huge hug, congratulating him on his achievement. Meanwhile, Astrid finished her meal and began writing a letter to the Village Chieftess, informing her that Alistair no longer needed any training since he had released his Aura Color, which was Yellow and signified strong willpower.
Lyra, one of Alistair's sisters, then asked him what abilities he had received. Before he could answer, the advice system cautioned him not to reveal all his abilities but to mention only the Aura Fortification ability. Alistair adhered to this advice. "Everyone, my ability is called Basic Aura Fortification. It enhances my willpower by allowing me to create a protective barrier that prevents hostile attacks from penetrating my body. The stronger my willpower, the more resilient the barrier becomes, enabling it to withstand multiple or heavy attacks. Additionally, after releasing my Aura Color, I also leveled up from Level 2 to Level 3."
Everyone was thrilled and congratulated Alistair on his impressive achievement.
