Maya's POV
The numbers didn't make sense.
Maya sat in the war room at three in the morning, surrounded by maps and data tablets. The Territory War was on day ten. Kaden controlled five territories. Elias controlled four. The other kingdoms were dying.
But something was wrong with the data.
She pulled up the monster spawn patterns. In the first week of war, monsters appeared randomly across all territories. That was normal. The system always threw creatures at survivors to keep them sharp.
But starting three days ago, monster spawns in Kaden's territories had dropped by seventy percent.
In Elias's territories, they had actually increased.
That wasn't random. That was deliberate.
Maya pulled up the resource allocations next. Food distribution. Weapon quality. Soldier performance metrics.
