The streets of Emberfall City were warm from the volcanic activity, smoke drifting from vents, and the faint scent of sulfur in the air. Rumors of the titan, Pyrotherion, spread through the city.
Elior adjusted his backpack and looked up at the Emberfall Gym, black stone walls veined with molten lava. Flames flickered along the edges.
Beside him, Infernyx's flames danced, Thundrion crackled electricity, Riolu's aura glimmered, and Lunashade's silver eyes reflected the fiery glow.
"This is it… our third badge," Elior said.
The massive doors opened. And we see a girl standing Infront of Elior "Kaedra"
"Hello, Elior long time no see? Hehe"
"Elior," she said, smiling warmly. "I've been expecting you. The volcano reports… impressive work. Let's see how much you've grown since Ignivar."
"Kaedra… I'm ready," Elior replied.
The arena was enormous: molten streams flowed beneath glass panels, ancient fire Pokémon symbols adorned the walls, and vents sent bursts of flame into the air.
Kaedra opened her first three Pokéballs:
"Go! Magmara, Pyronox, and Cindrake!"
Three fire-type Pokémon appeared, flames licking their bodies, each radiating intense heat.
Elior nodded and sent out his three Pokémon:
"Infernyx, Thundrion, Riolu! Let's do this!"
Round 1: Infernyx vs Magmara
Magmara stomped the floor and unleashed Flame Burst, a torrent of fire aimed directly at Infernyx.
"Flame Shield!" Elior commanded.
Infernyx spread its wings, flames clashing with Magmara's attack. Sparks and heat exploded across the arena.
Thundrion moved to the side, sending a Bolt Strike at Magmara to weaken it. Riolu's aura flared, striking from another angle with Aura Strike, forcing Magmara to retreat.
Infernyx countered with Fire Whip, sweeping Magmara off balance. Finally, a towering Inferno Blast struck the Fire-type Pokémon, leaving it defeated but unharmed.
"Good job, Infernyx," Elior praised.
Round 2: Thundrion vs Pyronox
Pyronox unleashed Magma Wave, a molten tidal wave that spread across the arena.
"Thundrion, Thunder Crash!" Elior shouted.
Electricity sparked across the molten surface, creating steam explosions that disoriented Pyronox. Thundrion leapt through the steam, striking the Pokémon with a series of precision electric shocks. Pyronox retaliated with Flame Fang, narrowly missing Thundrion.
Finally, Thundrion's Volt Surge struck Pyronox squarely, leaving it exhausted and defeated.
Round 3: Riolu vs Cindrake
Cindrake darted across the arena with incredible speed, claws glowing with fire. Riolu's aura flared brightly, moving in perfect synchronization with Elior's commands.
"Focus, Riolu… Aura Blast!"
Riolu charged, striking Cindrake and knocking it back. Cindrake retaliated with Fire Spin, trapping Riolu. But Riolu's aura intensified, breaking the spin with High Jump Kick, finally defeating Cindrake.
Victory
Kaedra stepped forward, clapping slowly.
"Well done, Elior. You've earned the Ember Badge."
She handed him the glowing badge shaped like a flame.
"We did it, everyone," Elior said proudly. Infernyx, Thundrion, and Riolu all expressed their excitement, and Lunashade glimmered in approval.
That night, Elior sat outside Emberfall City, holding the Ember Badge, reflecting on the titan battle.
Far away, in a hidden Team Umber base, Commander Varkis reported Elior's victory.
A shadowed figure appeared behind him.
"The boy who faced the titan… now holds three badges. Interesting."
And the journey continues....
