Chapter 33 - Chapter 33: Two Old Men's Love and Hate

Land of Iron

The Four Kage Meeting Arrived as Scheduled

However, Raikage A stared at the three empty seats with deep bitterness.

"Damn it! These bastards!"

The Kazekage was missing.

The Mizukage sent a letter saying things had just settled down and wouldn't participate in the war.

As a result, Tsuchikage Onoki received the information that only Raikage and Tsuchikage would attend the meeting. He firmly and decisively concluded that Raikage A had a conspiracy.

The angry Raikage was about to slam the table again, but Mabui quickly stopped him, "Raikage-sama, this is the Land of Iron, you'll have to pay for it."

Then they saw Mifune with an unfriendly expression playing with an abacus.

"Humph! Buy some good metal and return to the village!"

...

Land of Earth

Iwagakure Village

Swain sat in the Tsuchikage's office, discussing the ownership of the Five-Tails with Onoki.

"You feathery bastard! Don't even think about it! We'll go to war! Oh, my old back..."

"We're old friends, are you really going to be like this? Anyway, your Five-Tails Jinchuriki won't be in the village anymore."

It was common knowledge that Iwagakure Village was in decline, otherwise this old man who complained about his back every day wouldn't be able to hold on for much longer.

"There's no sharing the same sky with someone who steals your wife, don't even think about it!"

Akatsuchi, as the Tsuchikage's bodyguard, remained silent.

Shisui and Itachi whispered to each other, "I told you so, Uncle Swain must have had something happen."

"Stop talking, look at Uncle Swain's face."

"You little shrimp, make yourself clear! When did I steal your wife!" Swain couldn't even remember, because some psychological shadow still hadn't been resolved.

"Humph! Feathery bastard! I'm telling you! If you hadn't interfered, Dimi and I would have been together long ago!"

Onoki's expression was very serious.

Making Shisui and Itachi even more convinced.

Swain's long-sealed memory suddenly opened. Dimi? Seemed like a little blonde girl...

But it had nothing to do with him.

Wait...

It seemed like she had asked me if I could help him have offspring? What did I answer?

I seemed to have answered no! How could it have anything to do with me?

"I knew it, you definitely remember! I'm telling you, you feathery bastard, don't even think about getting anything from me!"

"What does Dimi have to do with me? Isn't it because you weren't tall enough that she didn't like you?"

The two argued fiercely, when suddenly an explosion caught their attention.

Swain was confused, "What's going on?"

Onoki glared angrily, "Isn't it because of your son!"

Pfft! "Don't you dare accuse me! Onoki! I'm innocent!"

"Humph! Akatsuchi, let's go! To catch Deidara."

Swain was confused, "Deidara?"

Shisui and Itachi exchanged glances.

Should they go see their younger brother?

Sure, maybe it's their older brother.

"Don't overthink it, I didn't..."

"Oh!"

"Let's go take a look, from what I know he's a little genius who pursues art." The Tsuchikage was no longer in the office, so Swain couldn't sit there alone and had to follow.

Soon, they saw a blonde-haired boy with mouths on his hands and a mouth on his chest.

"See! Blonde hair, nothing to do with me." Swain shouted.

Shisui and Itachi nodded nonchalantly, wondering what they were thinking.

Then they heard Onoki's roar, "Deidara! You're blowing things up in the village again! I've told you a million times! Can't you go outside the village?!"

Deidara was rebellious and sneered dismissively, "What do you know? This is art!"

Onoki changed the subject and rushed towards Swain, "It's all because of your bastard son! Just like you!"

"Son?!"

"Son?!"

"Son?!"

"Dad?!"

"Hey, hey, don't call me that! I have nothing to do with you."

Onoki gave a fake smile and chuckled, "As expected of a bastard, he doesn't even recognize his own son."

Shisui also persuaded, "Uncle Swain, you're not being fair."

Deidara seized Onoki's words, "Grandpa, is he really my dad?!"

Swain was furious, "Damn it! I knew you were up to no good! Even if I'm his dad, why are you telling him to call me grandpa?! The ages don't even match up, you bastard!"

Shisui and Itachi exchanged glances and cast a genjutsu (illusion technique) on Deidara together.

"Are you being controlled by Onoki?"

Deidara answered dazedly, "No, I really am an orphan."

"Uncle Swain, the interrogation is over."

Swain was furious, "Good, he's not my son? Then I'll take him, I want to see who will take over as your Tsuchikage now that your village is in decline."

As he spoke, Swain picked up Deidara and was about to fly away.

Onoki panicked, "Wait, let's talk."

"Oh? He's not my son? Then why can't I take him?"

"This..."

Onoki thought to himself, "Crap, I didn't get any benefits and I lost my own pig."

"No, no, that's enough. Put Deidara down."

Swain snorted, "Don't think I don't know what you're up to, you wanted to give me an intimidating start, you're too inexperienced. Playing with family ethics with us Uchiha Clan? You'll be the one to be messed up!"

Swain thought to himself that Onoki was going crazy, thinking that he was my elder? What's wrong? Do you want to be on the same level as the Sage of Six Paths?

"I can give you the Five-Tails, but you have to guarantee that if Iwagakure Village is in trouble, for fifty years, Konoha will provide unconditional support."

It was nothing more than changing the subject and asking for more benefits.

"How can that be? As far as I know, the Five-Tails Jinchuriki is already like a renegade from the village, right? If I capture him, you should give me a reward, shouldn't you?"

Swain smiled, he didn't care about alliances. This wasn't "League of Legends"; in the ninja world, I'm the main carry, fighting against nine opponents. Am I afraid of you?

"Then there's nothing to talk about? Akatsuchi, show him out!"

The great war between thousands of ninjas in Tsuchikage village and Raikage A caused serious damage, and it still hadn't recovered.

Akatsuchi was too honest and kind, not suitable for the position of Tsuchikage. His granddaughter Kurotsuchi was not strong enough and too young to be convincing.

This guarantee was very important to Tsuchikage village.

But Onoki was overthinking it. How could the ownership of a renegade ninja be exchanged for fifty years?

By negotiating, perhaps there could be some concessions.

But what he didn't expect was that Swain wasn't representing Konoha, but simply wanted the Five-Tails.

"Oh, then I'll catch it myself. Itachi, Shisui, let's go!"

Shisui grinned mischievously and asked, "Uncle Swain, are you taking your younger brother?"

"Shut up, I'll beat you to death. You want me to be a generation below Onoki that much?"
