Chapter 34 - Chapter 34: Deidara Makes Up His Mind

Life in Tsuchikage Village was boring.

Deidara, dazed by the magic trick, slowly opened his eyes.

But his ears were still buzzing, and he couldn't hear what the two of them were saying.

He vaguely heard something about taking him away and something about a son.

"Dad!"

Deidara shouted crisply, then stuffed clay into the mouths on his hands.

"I'll blow you up!"

The sudden situation startled both Onoki and Swain.

Swain was calm. He saw Deidara stuffing clay into his hands, not his chest.

Without even needing Patrick Star, Shisui would have taken care of it.

"Nirvana Temple Technique!"

White feathers fell from the sky, and Deidara slowly fell asleep and collapsed to the ground.

Akatsuchi caught him in time and carried him on his shoulder, a movement that seemed practiced.

Swain glanced at Deidara. "You solve this misunderstanding yourself. I want the Five-Tails. Before you step down, I can give you summoning rights to a Konoha holy ground."

"Holy ground?"

It was well known that there were three great holy grounds in the ninja world, all of which belonged to Konoha. Did Swain take down one of them?

Swain pulled Onoki back to reality. "Don't think too much. I just built one myself. In terms of strength, it's not weaker than the three great holy grounds."

Then he performed a Summoning Technique.

A giant pheasant, hundreds of yards tall, curiously observed its surroundings.

The pheasant looked similar to a chicken and was best at Earth Release, making it a perfect fit here. It would also be useful for cooperating from the inside.

"What do you think?"

"You said you built a holy ground?" Naturally, size basically represented strength. Looking at the giant pheasant, the already short old man compromised.

"Then how do I sign a summoning contract with it?" Then he seemed to think of something. "Can my granddaughter sign it?"

"Yes, just have your granddaughter drip a drop of blood in its mouth. But I have to remind you, Onoki, if you don't send the Five-Tails to Konoha within a month, my holy ground has eight more summoning beasts stronger than the pheasant, along with a Nine-Tails, a Gyuki, a Two-Tails, and a Three-Tails."

Onoki's eyes turned cold. "Is Konoha trying to conquer the ninja world?"

"It has nothing to do with Konoha. Isn't my strength your strength? Don't forget, I promised you that as long as you're in power, I'll protect Iwagakure Village."

Swain felt a little tired. If he couldn't find Roshi, he would have captured him long ago. Why bother with this effort?

Now that the Five-Tails was in hand, the One-Tail was with Gaara, the Six-Tails was with the Akatsuki organization, and the Seven-Tails, Chomei, was hard to find. He could wait for Akatsuki to capture it and then just snatch it away.

Um…

That's what he decided.

When they fought, nine tailed beasts, plus nine… well, nine somethings... Just thinking about it was exciting…

Speaking of which, he seemed to have promised the Nine-Tails something… Had he forgotten?

(Kurama: You can still remember me? My other half is probably rotting.)

"Oh, that's right! Konoha also has a Uzumaki shrine! Let's go, Shisui, Itachi, us three grandparents are going back to the village."

Itachi reminded him, "Uncle Swain, we're not related."

"I want to be."

He rode off in a cloud of dust, soaring straight into the sky.

Black wings drew a beautiful arc in the air, accompanied by the screams of Itachi and Shisui.

Onoki looked at the familiar yet unfamiliar feathers and cursed, "If only this person was born in my Iwagakure Village… Akatsuchi, wake Deidara up, lock him up for two days, and let him reflect on the trouble he caused others."

But Onoki didn't know that Deidara, who had awakened early, was brewing a shocking conspiracy.

Three days later

Night in Iwagakure Village was ordinary, pitch black.

Then there was a loud bang.

The Tsuchikage's office building was blasted apart by a burst of fire.

The entire Iwagakure Village heard Onoki's furious shout. "Bring that bastard Deidara back to me!"

Deidara's life was monotonous. Only explosions could fill his empty heart.

Speaking of which, the ninja world was too boring. There were no games, no phones, no entertainment. Even cards were boring.

The pleasures of adults were beyond Deidara's understanding, he couldn't feel that happiness.

Only the explosions that he considered art were the true path.

But once he left the village, he was already a rogue ninja.

Blowing up the Tsuchikage's building was a glory for Deidara.

But the shadow of one person had long lingered in Deidara's mind.

He really wanted to know if Swain was his father, even though the two of them looked nothing alike.

And those two little brats had easily defeated him with magic tricks. He would definitely get his revenge in the future.

Iwagakure Village's Ninjutsu included rare flying Ninjutsu.

Especially Deidara's bird, which was extremely recognizable.

His purpose in this trip was Konoha, seeking the truth.
