Angela looks down with her hand on her head.
Extremely stressed out she said.
"I don't know, It could be that portal thing."
*sigh*
"So you are saying, we are in Rimora but in wrong timeline?? And that too past??"
"Yes, Why would I make this up!?"
John looks outside biting his lips.
(How did I even get myself into this?!)
Angela looks outside as well.
(I want to get back to Daniel.)
They leave the restaurant and get to their hotel room.
"Angela...did you??"
"I saw it too…"
Both look outside the window.
"The moon and sky, both are bloody red!"
John starts panicking. Angela isn't calm either
(In the novel, this is the worst place a person can be!!! Why are we here?!)
"John! We need to get out of here quickly!"
"But how!?"
(This isn't Rimora! Oh God! Why are we in Bloodied Rimora!? This has to be one of the worst places in fiction. No justice. No freedom. And no will to live.)
"John, calm down. We need to understand what to do now."
"Yeah I'm sorry"
(How can I Angela!? We are in living hell!!!)
"It is tough I know but…..we need to stay calm and get out of this world."
"And how are we going to do it??"
"I....need some time to think."
"Alright I will be taking some slee-"
(I can't, I don't want to see THAT vision again.)
"Huh?? What happened?"
"N-Nothing."
John looks outside the window. The bloody sky and moon screams the pain of millions who went against the commanders. They tormented those people to that extent where death seemed more beautiful and suitable to them.
"Guess it can't be helped huh?? We just need to be on our guard."
"John just promise…..to stay together, no matter what okay??"
"Yeah…I promise, I'll stay with you no matter what."
On a pillar, a ring floating on it rotates for the fourth time in the original Rimora. John gets a pain again but this time with less effect.
"Ughh…..this pain. How is it...bearable now??"
"John….is everything okay??? You need me to heal you??"
"No I'm fine."
Angela knows he isn't.
In the next morning they leave to finish a dungeon for money.
As they enter the dungeon, they realize that this isn't just a dungeon. Torture devices lying everywhere, blood splattered everywhere like water. Human bones lying around like stones.
Angela terrifies while John just stands there. He looks down at a blood puddle. He sees his image. Half dead eyes, no strength and too many promises.
(Why am I even here?? I couldn't save my parents. They always supported me and now….I should have been the one to die. And Syd?? Its not even her fault that she's here yet she is suffering with me.)
He clinches his fists.
(No matter what! I will keep Angela safe and take her out of this world)
He looks at Angela and hugs her.
"J-John??"
"I will protect you Angela!)
A tiny tear shed from his eye.
Angela comforts him.
After a while they start roaming in the dungeon with a heavy feeling in their heart. This world is really twisted.
They get a small standoff with 3 goblins.
John rushes towards them with his dagger and stabs the goblin.
As John comes to his senses, he sees the Goblin. He parried the stab but isn't attacking back. Instead, He bows in front of them. The other 2 goblins also join him and kneel In front of John.
John and Angela both are confused with this action. These goblins are really strong yet they are not attacking.
"What is happening John?? Why aren't they attacking us…??"
"I…don't know. They are…feeling inferior to us??"
One goblin, without lifting his head, says.
"My lord….it is our pleasure to meet you. I am a goblin soldier. I am here to escort you my liege."
"May I ask who am I to you??"
"Yes of course, You are our lord, our liege and our God."
"God??"
He gets a flashback of the time when he killed the Goblin God with his dagger and got the title of Goblin God.
(Wait…so do they think of me as their god??)
(My lord, we have been waiting for you. Its been so long.)
"J-John??"
"Yeah Angela??"
She twitches a bit.
"Are you a Goblin god too??"
"Yeah….but what do you mean to-!?"
(Oh yeah I remember now…Daniel was also a Goblin God in the novel. So basically I took his place huh?? So wait!? I have reached chapter 200!? But how?? It has only been 1 week since I have been here so how??)
"Yeah, I'm also a God."
"Wow….that's cool! So wait! They can help us right?? They are basically your army!!!"
"That's right we will be safe as well. Hey Soldier."
"Yes my lord."
"How many goblins are there besides you?? What's the total strength??"
"Around 250 soldiers out of which 125 are elites."
"That's good right Angela?? We have are army now!"
"I know. And we can complete dungeons with ease!"
"Yeah and in the meantime we can plan a strategy."
"Its perfect! Lets cheer this up!"
"My lord, we have a gift for you. Follow me please."
John and Angela follow the small goblin. They enter a gate and in there is a small hall with uncountable goblins and a throne. With Goblins cheering John, he sits on the throne.
"Silence!"
Whole crowd calms down.
"I am. I am your new king and your GOD!"
*cheers*
*claps*
"And from this day on…I will command you for betterment of us all!."
