"You both, wake up.
Supreme Heimer is here." Leo's voice echoed into the ears of he twins who were asleep on the bed.
Paul opened his eyes to Leo dressing up.
"Leo waking us up, that's a first." Paul thought.
Leo closed the door gently, leaving the room to the two whilst Paul tapped his brother's body to wake him up.
"Come on wake up bozo" He slapped Saul on his lap.
[Grunting noises from Saul who was now a bit awake]
He looked Paul right in the eye whilst squinting.
"If I'm a bozo wouldn't my reflection be one as well" He asked Paul.
"Hehe.
The difference is that I know I'm a bozo.
I'm a self aware bozo, we are not the same." He said in a confident tone and a straight face.
"What in the actual fuck…
You even said it with a straight face.
Pfft-
If I wasn't up before, I'm up now." Saul replied while tearing up a bit from his laughter.
The two were predisposed to each others antics, Paul immediately threw two pieces of clothing at Saul.
"Catch" He said while turning away and grabbing two more clothes.
Saul caught the blue T-shirt and immediately wore it on in quick succession to the throw.
"We aren't washing up are we?" Saul asked whilst zipping down the trousers and putting on one leg.
"We're late, our weapons are back from maintenance." Paul was putting on his shirt now.
"Oh, the supreme is back!
You say late like we're going to get punished, we're special officers now." Saul said boldly.
"Done" They both said in unison, they had finished dressing up in very casual attire.
"Well you're right about that.
Hehe" Paul replied.
–
Some time later.
Back in the center of camp where the weapons were being redistributed, Leo was handed his double bladed spear.
"Oh how I've missed you spear" Leo looked at its edged out blades, it was now like a partner to him over the course of months.
"Five!" Heimer's voice could be heard in the background.
"You seem to really like that staff." Dan said to Leo while walking towards him.
"You say that but you're petting your box of knives." Leo looked at Dan's chest region as he gently stroked the box's top.
He noticed a ring on the ring finger of his left hand, with a flower engraving.
"Are you engaged?" Leo asked.
"It looks like you have noticed this beauty of a ring, but not nearly as beautiful as the woman I chose." Dan said to Leo.
"He's twenty…fixed marriages are commonplace in nobility most especially the more influencial families.
I shouldn't be shocked.
Congratulations to you." Leo gave two thumbs up to Dan.
"Six!" Heimer's voice echoed once more.
"Thanks a lot.
Back to the matter at hand.
You don't know what it's like to have a hundred babies." Dan said with a straight face while still stroking the box of knives.
Leo had a look bordering on disgust, and everyone around turned to him with faces similar to that of Leo.
"I get it, I get it just stop speaking dude." Leo said as he walked past him, moving towards Caesar.
Caesar sat on the porch of the training hall, besides Heimer, they were conversing.
"Hey Caesar, Supreme Heimer as well." Leo saluted Heimer.
"Seven!" Heimer Screamed.
"Oh kid, I was just about calling you, how about we have a little chat.
Come walk with me." Heimer stood up.
"And Cee, continue the counting from where I stopped." He started walking slowly towards the gate's direction, raising his hand and gesturing Leo to follow him.
"I'm coming sir." Leo said to Heimer.
Leo turned to Caesar and whispered something to him; "(Do me a favour and skip four counts!)"
Caesar smirked.
"(Why don't we do five)" He replied Leo with a whisper as well.
Leo smirked at him, he did a thumbs up at Caesar and Caesar reciprocated.
Heimer's ear twitched a bit, then he smiled.
"Leo?
Don't keep me waiting-" Heimer looked back, his ear picked up a crackling noise.
!
Leo wasn't there.
"Sir?" Leo's voice could be heard near Heimer.
Heimer looked to his right; nothing.
Then to his left as well, there he was walking beside Heimer.
"Did you use aether?" Heimer asked of Leo.
"Yes, by making a controlled explosion under my feet." Leo said to Heimer.
"You've grown to be very efficient in your use, sadly I don't have as much time on my plate to spend training." Heimer responded.
"So you don't train at all?
Aren't you going to get rusty?" Leo asked.
Heimer scoffed a bit.
"Oh little one, there are multiple types of training.
I hadn't touched my axe for years before the battle at the wall.
And yet I was at full capacity before the battle." Heimer said to Leo, his tone while speaking to him was very welcoming.
"Then how?" Leo asked while looking up at Heimer.
They were walking very slowly tantamount to strolling.
Heimer took the index finger of his left hand to his head, pointing it, then tapping his skull twice.
"I've had a very strong imagination ever since I was little, so that helps a lot." Heimer said.
Leo looked at him in confusion.
"What does imagination have to do with you being at your best form?
I want to know how that works." Leo seemed interested.
"Alright, do as I say and close your eyes." Heimer asked of Leo.
Leo closed his eyes and stood still, Heimer halted his steps as well.
"Now I want you to imagine an apple, what can you see?" Heimer asked.
"An apple, apple." Leo simmered the thought.
At first all he could see in his mind scape was white, but with time an apple appeared, it was nearly perfect in form but had no colour.
"I see a white apple like shape." Leo responded.
"Now see if you can make it green" Heimer asked once again.
In Leo's mind scape the apple became a near green colour.
"I can make it nearly green, but can't seem to know how to make it true green." Leo closed his eyes harder, making wrinkles appear on his eyelids.
"That's good enough, your imagination is mighty strong.
Now try grabbing it." Heimer scoffed a bit.
"Grab." Leo stretched his hand towards the apple, he held it in his palms.
"I've done that" Leo answered.
"Good, that is all there is to visualising.
You can open your eyes." Heimer said to Leo.
"And how does this help?" Leo asked while wearing a curious look.
"What you just did was visualisation, and with it you can start visual training.
Though not everyone is privileged to be able to use it.
You can train against an opponent in your mind, set up multiple scenarios, as much as you can imagine.
When I had free time I would train from my mind, imagining all the techniques I could use.
Do you now understand?" Heimer looked at Leo.
"Yes...kind of.
But how do you do it when you don't know what you're facing?" Leo asked.
When faced with unknown foes on that very day, I had to think outside the box.
It would normally be a hard task visualising something that you've not seen from incomplete descriptions.
So what I did on that day was train using the image of a bear to avoid underestimating the creatures.
The thought of fighting thousands of bears is…frankly terrifying." Heimer shook his head.
"I now understand…" Leo said as he looked forward.
He remembered the scene of thousands chasing he and his friends, then replaced them with bears.
He shivered.
"Come along now, don't fall behind…" Heimer said to Leo as he began walking again.
He hastened up.
