When it was time for Enzo to leave, he put on his disguise and rode out first, while Lucien took the forefront of the army and led them away from the citadel. Most of the lords were watching from their different positions within the palace, their eyes following the army as Lucien rode out with them. Each of them had different thoughts about where the Beta was taking the army and why the King had suddenly decided to leave the citadel without making his departure known.
Two people watched them ride out before turning to each other and then walking in two different directions, eventually arriving at the Moon Goddess Lake, a place that had now become synonymous with plotting and hidden meetings.
Ryan got there first and waited for the arrival of his counterpart. He went to stand by the lake, picking up small stones and throwing them into the water one after another just to keep his mind busy.
