Most of the guards and maids who witnessed the King and Arabella's reunion felt emotional and couldn't look away. After everything that had happened, after the fear that had spread throughout the kingdom and the uncertainty surrounding the King's whereabouts, seeing him standing there alive with Arabella in his arms was enough to bring relief to everyone who had been waiting for his return.
Linda and Lily held their hands together as they watched them, while Sophia had already rushed out of her bedroom, only to be met with Enzo coming to the rescue as usual. For a brief moment, it felt as though everything was finally going to be alright.
"Thank the goddess you sent Ryan earlier to me. I wouldn't have made it in time," Enzo said as he inhaled the scent of her hair.
Arabella basked in his comfort, allowing herself to relax in his arms after everything she had been through, but his words suddenly made her pull out of his embrace.
