Authors note: I'm going to go on a weekly rotation for my fics. So this week is mahouka. next week tensura. Week after try fighters. No set amount of chapters though they happen when I have inspiration.
The conversation was brief. Mainly just Tatsuya looking at the coding for Sakura's spells. They were invisibility, A spell similar to telekinesis, and a spell that reshapes metal objects into swords.
I wonder were she got that idea. Sarcasm aside it was interesting.
School was mundane. Although I met Yoshida Mikihiko. It was interesting… he screamed in terror. A little suprising. I thought I've improved my reputation a bit. He calmed down a little when Erika said, and I quote, "he won't bite your head off or anything". So that happened.
So now I was currently in the studen council office. Doing boring club budget stuff. I went to sip some water.
"Ryu do you know any of Tatsuya's interests?
*Spfftt*
"Oh fuck I gotta clean that up."
Thankfully It didn't get in the papers or anything important. That caught me off guard. I honestly thought she hadn't developed a crush on him, but guess I was wrong. Oh well not my business. Hm what to do. Well let's pay him back for being petty 2 weeks ago. I'm not the bigger person. She doesn't know he's also yotsuba like me. Heh.
"I don't know. what are you interested in him?"
I looked her with fake confusion. It helped I was caught off guard.
She blushed.
"W-what! No I just want to thank him for something he helped me with."
Oh shes already sunk that deep huh.
"I don't know why your asking me. I can't get a read on that guy personality wise. All I've figured out is. If you want anything involving him go to his sister she knows him best."
Heh I don't care if he retaliates. Eh who am I kidding. that brick wall is no fun to mess with. Man he really takes the fun out of being petty.
"Oh your right l. Why didn't I think of that?"
Why you asking me that for a smart woman, you sure are oblivious sometimes. But I wouldn't say that outloud. Well whatever we're getting on the busses tomorrow. The Nine Schools Competition is finally happening. Opening ceremony tomorrow. I feel like I'm forgetting something though. Eh, if I forgot probably wasn't important. And so the day ended.
"Damn it's hot out"
Well it is summer I guess. Kuro and I boarded the bus Sakura was with us too. This was because well… everyone knew they couldn't do anything if she wanted something by this point. The three of us sat in the back. Mayumi boarded the bus in a sundress of all things. I'm glad I wrote major events down on paper years ago. Otherwise I'd forgotten everything by now. How was I supposed to remember her getting on the bus in a sundress. She looked unhappy I guess her attempt to seduce Tatsuya went as well as one would expect.
"Kuro you doing okay?"
She was holding an handheld electric fan near her face. I forgot she doesn't deal well with heat on especially hot days. Thankfully this was going to be the hottest day over the next week due to an incoming cold front.
"I'm…I'm fine just it sooo hot…"
Yeah, genitive modifications aren't always completely positive traits.
"Sakura you doing good?"
"I turned of my ability to feel temperature the moment I went outside. So I'm fine."
Benefits of being a mostly digital life form at this point. Sakura explained the magic used to make her body is, in simple terms, similar to the heavens feel true magic. In a more detailed explanation not like it at all. She described her form as "schrödinger's human" essentially she is currently a full flesh and blood human. Yet, at the same time still the 6th dimensional AI. In the crudist of terms her current body is a meat puppet.
"Have I ever mentioned how much I envy your ability to do these nonsense level things."
"Yes if I remember correctly you've said it 68 times previously."
She then flashed me a smug grin.
Really… alright.
The trip was boring. Then Sakura high jacked the bus radio to play the fate/ccc soundtrack. Say what you want about this woman. The Fate/ series have great soundtracks. The bus driver tried to change it but ultimately gave up. We were on a stretch of highway when suddenly
*PSSSH-BANG*
One of the bus' tires exploded violently. The bus spun violently before stopping. Shun, Chiyoda Kanon, and few other students stood up suddenly. I followed their gaze. Oh crap someone's trying to ram the bus. Oh these idiot are panic casting. And just like expected there spells canceled each other do to interference.
I wasn't really paying attention. Jumonji and Miyuki were talking probably about how to resolve the situation.
*sight*
"Sakura, you wanna handle this?"
"Sure, but you owe me later."
"Fine, fine."
I could stop the car but that require me to vaporize the road along with it. Not ideal.
Sakura stood up and adressed everyone.
"Okay everyone~ Sakura-Chan will deal with this real quick"
They all looked at her unsure of what she would do. She stretched her arms out in front of her. Her hands parallel in a claw like gesture. The burning car positioned perfectly between her hands.
Ah so it's THAT spell.
The pink light of psion glowed and coiled as the flaming car suddenly stopped. The world seemed to jerk and pause. As the car quickly crushed compacted and cubed its self. Heh C.C.C., even though it replicating Trash and Crash. Then as if the world bent. A perfect metal 5x5 x5 centimeter cube appeared in her hand. I'm also pretty sure she's using magic to negate the mass of it so it won't effect the bus.
Silence… dead silence.
"What…just… happened…?"
Mayumi broke the silence first. They've seen her do some absurd stuff, but nothing on this level.
"Don't think to hard about it. It's one of those spells only she can use. She calls it Trash and Crash. Basically anything she can see between her hands is cubed to about that size. She says the only thing it doesn't do is reduce mass. So right now that 5cm cube weighs as much as a car."
They heard my explanation, but I think they decided to completely forget what they saw. Good choice honestly.
Well after that incident and replacing the blown tire we reached the venue for the competition.
