"Who spends the nights on the sofa of a living room when I've got a perfect king-sized bed!" Lina was applying jam to a bread slice as she kept typing emails on her phone.
Holding a coffee mug, Sienna just watched her friend juggling with all the work.
"Shit!" Lina face-palmed, "I forgot to do my laundry."
Sienna smiled as she waved her hand, "Don't worry. I'll do it."
"Sure?" Lina gave her an eye roll.
"Yeah. No problem!"
Lina came and kissed her cheek, "You are an angel."
"Yuck!" Sienna wiped the wetness off her cheek with the back of her hand. Sometimes Lina could be a handful.
"Hey! Don't wipe it off, or I'll give you more wet kisses," Lina winked, and Sienna had to throw a pillow at her.
No matter what she did. Hunter's face was always there in her thoughts. During this visit, she didn't tell Lina why she was there.
It had been two days since she was staying at Lina's place. Her friend didn't question her, but Sienna was aware that she couldn't stay here forever.
