They just had dinner, and now they were lying lazily on the spread, staring at the sky that had a full moon. Hunter had intertwined their fingers, brushing his thumb lazily on the back of her hand.
The dinner was simple. Steak, mashed potatoes, sautéed veggies, and herb rice. For dessert, Brian handed them tubs that contained Peach yogurt gelato and blueberry cheesecake.
In short, it was a no-fuss dinner, yet every little detail had been taken care of perfectly.
"I'm so full, I can't even move," She whispered, making him laugh, "What?" she asked him, still looking at the sky.
"It will get digested in a while," He propped himself on his elbow and regarded her face that glowed in the moonlight, "Can I kiss you?" he asked her in a whisper.
Her eyes widened at the unexpected request, "That's because you want my food to get digested? That's why you came up with this kissing idea?"
