Chapter 37 - Hollow Technique: Purple

Looking at Loki, Aurelius Viremont walked toward him, showing absolutely no intention of paying homage.

Seeing this, Loki's brows furrowed deeply. He hadn't expected this Midgardian to be so insolent as to offend the King of Asgard! He immediately summoned his daggers, intending to give this rude mortal a lesson in the hierarchy of respect.

He lunged directly at Aurelius Viremont with a mocking smile. "Lowly Midgardian, it seems I must teach you how to kneel before a King!"

As the dagger was about to strike, Loki sneered. This mortal hadn't even reacted; even with the blade less than a meter away, he made no move to dodge. It felt almost boring.

However, the moment the dagger neared the man, Loki's expression froze. He stared in disbelief at his blade, which could no longer advance a single millimeter.

"What ability is this?"

Before Loki could say another word, a powerful repulsive force surged from the front. The pressure was more intense than being hit head-on by Thor's hammer. He was instantly launched backward! His body shattered the glass walls, tore through metal supports, sliced through the rain, and smashed through the outermost metal fence of the base before finally coming to a stop.

"Oh, my back!" Loki felt a searing pain all over his body, feeling as if this were a nightmare. Is this a Midgardian? When did they become so strong?!

Before he could catch his breath, a powerful gravitational pull dragged him back toward the white-haired demon. The terrifying suction ignored all his resistance; even as he plunged his daggers deep into the ground to anchor himself, his speed did not slow down in the slightest!

Finally, he was back in the glass-enclosed room, back in front of the Mjolnir he coveted, and back facing the terrifying White Demon!

Having retrieved Loki, Aurelius Viremont grinned. A thought occurred to him. He grabbed Loki by one leg, using Cursed Energy Manipulation and Energy Absorption to reinforce his body to the limit. He swung Loki back and forth, repeatedly slamming him into the ground. After dozens of impacts, he finally stopped.

Looking at the dazed, soul-shattered Loki, Aurelius Viremont uttered words that Loki couldn't yet comprehend: "No wonder Hulk likes smashing things. The feedback is excellent!"

Because Aurelius Viremont had suddenly attacked, Coulson had long since retreated to a safe distance. Seeing things settle down, he walked over. Looking at the strange man with the horned helmet, he asked Aurelius Viremont in confusion, "Mr. Aurelius Viremont, who is he?"

Aurelius Viremont was still savoring the physical sensation of the "smash." After experimenting on Loki, he had found he quite enjoyed it. He answered nonchalantly, "Loki. Son of Odin, second Prince of Asgard. He's also just a naughty child who happens to be a few thousand years old."

"Loki? Like the Norse legends?" Coulson asked in disbelief.

"To the ancients, those who possessed advanced technology and magic were indeed like gods, but in essence, they are just aliens."

Looking at Loki, who had been defeated so effortlessly, Coulson nodded slowly. How could a god be this weak?

Seeing the agents lead Loki to an interrogation room, Aurelius Viremont didn't interfere. He knew Loki would escape; these agents couldn't contain the God of Mischief. But this was exactly what Aurelius Viremont wanted. If Loki didn't escape, the Destroyer armor wouldn't come to Earth, and the Mind Stone "gift pack" in the future would never arrive.

Shifting his gaze to Mjolnir, Aurelius Viremont reached out and gripped the handle, attempting to lift it. Unsurprisingly, the White Demon was not worthy. Furthermore, his current strength was far from Odin's level, so he couldn't use brute force to break the enchantment Odin had placed upon it.

In the interrogation room, Thor was shocked to see his brother being locked in with him. He was certain his cunning brother wouldn't be caught by mere agents, so someone else must have captured him. He asked directly:

"Loki, who defeated and captured you?"

Pulled back to reality by Thor's question, Loki gritted his teeth. Looking at the imprisoned Thor, he hissed, "A cursed white-haired Midgardian. He insulted me. I will make him pay!"

As he finished speaking, Loki vanished in a flicker of magical light. Hearing "white-haired," Thor immediately thought of Aurelius Viremont. The thought from before resurfaced: Is he really the White Demon?

Just then, the door opened and a figure walked in. It was the white hair and round sunglasses he recognized. But now, those exquisite, azure eyes were visible beneath the lenses—eyes containing a level of arrogance and indifference that even the old Thor couldn't match.

Thor heard the familiar yet strange White Demon speak: "Quite the sorry state you're in, Thor!"

After releasing Thor, Aurelius Viremont stayed in a five-star hotel, waiting for the Destroyer to arrive. During this time, he continued absorbing energy from the two Arc Reactors to increase his integration.

A few days later, the system prompts rang continuously in his ears.

A massive amount of information flooded his mind. This time, the data was denser than any previous skill, containing complex knowledge of cursed energy application. By the time he processed it all, Aurelius Viremont had completely mastered the technique with a 100% success rate.

Just then, a beam of white light shot down from the heavens in the distance!

Aurelius Viremont grinned at the sight. Perfect timing. That light meant the Warriors Three and Sif had used the Bifrost to find Thor. The Destroyer would be close behind!

He wondered if the Destroyer armor, forged from Uru metal, could withstand Hollow Technique: Purple.

Jumping out the window and stepping into the void, Aurelius Viremont flew at extreme speed toward the white pillar of light!
