Hye Yang's head shot the the side then to her front as she searched for what other surprises could possibly be in stall for her.
She craned her head in every directed and even looked at the sky like a crazed person who had already lost every bit of sanity. Hye Yang's once neatly done hair was scattered and undone and some glued to her skin because of the sweat. Her once nicely clothed skin was in so much pain with one hand fully dislocated.
Her once pretty face was stained with blood and swollen and her chest was hurting too. She had been utterly beaten and abused yet these people did not look like they were done with her. This made her heart beat rapidly in her chest.
She did not want to suffer more. Hye Yang hated to admit it, but just like Mira said. . . her life would never have turned out this way if she was content. Or better yet. . . If she gave up when she saw it stopped working out for her.
