Chapter 08: Selene Palace
Knock-Knock-Knock.
"Come in."
"Ria, Netzer says he's supposed to escort you, is that true?" Kyrios's head popped out of the slightly opened door.
His golden eyes blazed with determination to beat someone up with all his might as he pressed his lips together.
Kyrios carefully scanned the massive room.
To a dragon,
With it, he quickly detected his twin sisters' presence, fixing his eyes near the large windows.
Swoosh! Rustle!
Amongst fluttering white curtains the small figure of a beautiful girl giggled.
"Well he's not wrong. But he's supposed to step down when a person of higher rank is available." Kyriaki stepped out among the fluttering curtains.
Locking eyes with Kyrios, her rosy lips curved into a gentle smile. The blue gems on her earrings twinkled once.
"Tch." Netzer, who appeared behind Kyrios like a ghost, read her lips and let out a dissatisfied sound.
"Don't mess with my twin." Kyriaki insisted with fluent hand signs.
"I wouldn't dare." Netzer calmly shot back.
'This guy…I thought he was calm and collected, but he has a playful side too. Is it because he's still young?'
"That's right, you only mess with me."
"That's because it's hard to get a reaction out of Princess Kyriaki, unlike Your Royal Highness."
"Are you implying that I'm easy?"
"You are imagining things."
"Just you wait until I find a book of swear words in Elven hand signs!"
"Babies are not allowed to read those books."
"I'm not a baby!"
"Then I'm not an Elf."
"Ugh!"
As the battle of hand signs continued, Kyriaki clapped her hand twice, robbing them of their playful grumbling.
"If the two of you came to escort me, do your job right."
Thus start the beginning of children's long walk through golden passages, walking past all the luxury and divine grace one could find in a god's residence.
Their final destination?
The front yard.
The two Elven guards opened the massive front door, which was always closed tightly as if they were not welcoming to any visitor despite always bursting with the presence of many dark elves and dragons who came to meet their king.
A magnificently maintained garden and spacious front yard came to their view in an instant. Beyond all the noble allure was a frozen lake, shimmering in the afternoon sunlight.
The garden on the island and the lake beyond that seemed to be at odds as if two seasons of spring and winter had collided right there.
Yes, they were on an island, surrounded by a lake as big as a large county. Beyond the lake lay the seeker's forest, with vibrant green and soft white of winter and mysterious aura that shouldn't be there in a forest, which would one day be the playground of the twin dragons.
But currently, neither Kyriaki nor Kyrios had any interest in what was beyond the lake. Nor did they glance at the garden.
For they stood before the most fascinating and divine creature living among mortals.
A massive Golden Arch-Dragon, approximately 85 meters long and 42 meters tall, with four large wings highlighting his achievement of the 4th growth pace and his status as an Elder Dragon, stood proudly.
His scales, glittering under the warmth of the winter sun, looked so very divine that it deserved hundred years of praise in the form of poems.
Kyriaki's eyes unknowingly landed on his wide chest. There, a fading symbol-like deep golden tattoo was barely visible to her eyes.
Kyriaki recognized it right away. Those were symbols from different cultures and timelines from her previous world, so how could she not.
The Claddagh ring. It was an Irish symbol featuring two hands holding a heart wearing a crown. Two hands represent bond and friendship, the heart represents love, and the crown represents loyalty.
However, upon closer inspection, Kyriaki realized the heart at the center was different from the heart of the Claddagh ring. It looked like a Celtic knot with no beginning or end, representing an unbreakable, eternal connection.
The symbol in a whole had the impression of something once so eternally beautiful and dazzling with undying, infinite love. Evident that its former luster had vanished somehow, as if the invisible connection had weakened.
This unusual symbol that seemed to have almost faded away, she finally realized what it truly was in this world.
The symbol of Apomero.
Suddenly, Kyriaki felt a strange sensation. Her heart ached, mouth went dry and claws clenched.
Unable to bear it, she lowered her gaze from his chest. The more she looked at the symbol, the more she felt pity for her grandfather.
"Grandpa!" Kyrios immediately turned into his dragon hatchling form and clumsily flew towards Endymion.
Compared to him, Kyrios' hatchling form looked so defenceless and small. Ignoring the size, Kyriaki followed her twin brother in silence, her expression betraying nothing.
It was 1,001,100 M.A, Orpheus 7th, which directly translates to February 7th, in Earth's calendar.
In Lifianest, it was the last days of winter.
However, it was not the end of winter that excited her, but the chance she was granted that excited her.
After their first growth pace, every hatchling around 100-200 of years were gathered in the true royal palace of dragons for early education and awakening of their elements.
The palace they were currently living in was the residence of the king, yes.
However the real dragon palace, which is now mostly used as a ceremonical relic, was the location where all dragons gather to witness the future of their race.
And now, as a young hatchling, she and her brother were to spend the next five years there with a few other hatchlings, interacting with young dark elves.
To meet and make connections with other dragons, learn their culture and knowledge and most importantly, to awaken their elemental attributes which would decide the entire future ahead of them.
This period was called EESOP which was short for "The Early Educational System Of Ochros Palace."
—Ahem…It seems you are ready—
A familiar voice rang around the front yard. It seemed the voice was not made by vocal cords but by the mind, appearing as sound waves that covered the area of a few dozen meters.
Kyriaki's eyes catched a breathtaking sight of another dragon, around 70 meters in length and 33 meters in height. He had only a pair of wings, yet the aura surrounding him told her that he was a fully matured Adult Dragon worthy of respect, fear and awe.
He too, had the same symbol on his chest that awoke something painful inside the onlookers.
—Good afternoon to you, Dad— Kyriaki bowed her dragon head, lowering her body.
Her golden wings stretched out in contact with the ground below.
Elysium's eyes widened. But the next minute, his eyes took a murderous glint as he asked, gritting his sharp teeth;
—Which bas-ahem-which human brained individual teached you the dragon's bow?—
—Forgive me for peeking without permission, I learned it from watching the dragons who came to visit you in the past month—
Kyriaki bowed deeper.
—No, that's not-sigh…nevermind. Raise your head, and good afternoon to you too, my dear golden star—
Kyriaki raised her head, her eyes landing on the crown on Elysium's head.
It was truly fascinating to see.
The crown, which Elysium rarely took off, was still on his head.
However, this time, it appeared big enough to fit his large dragon head. The vein-like golden frame tightly embraced his four horns and sides of his face like it was a part of his form.
Aside from the size and the way it was put on, the outer image of the crown was still the same with all the tiny chains and large gems, albeit massive in size.
—Let's get going, Ellie, Ria. It will be a bit of a long journey—
Endymion, who observed the conversation unfold together with Kyrios, spoke up. A hint of amusement could be seen in his gentle voice.
They waited until Ezekiel and Netzer got on the back of Elysium.
Although they had a master-servant relationship and Elysium was the Dragon King that oversees the entire Primal Plane and guards the gate to other planes, there was this mutual respect and acknowledgement. Not only among Ezekiel and Elysium, but among the two races they belong.
Even in the Original Kyrios' memories, the dragons never felt ashamed for dark elves riding on their backs. In fact, they seem to cherish those moments with the elves they consider as their own children.
So much of a ground breaking divulgation for the prideful Dragons.
Endymion placed Kyrios inside his curved front claws as Elysium did the same to Kyriaki. It was the traditional way of carrying babies in dragon culture.
A minute later, they soared high into the sky.
Roar!
Elysium let out a cheerful roar that still seemed to instill fear in lower level monsters and people.
They flew higher into the sky, passing cotton-looking clouds. 120 km above, they broke the first layer of the planet; the troposphere and entered the second layer; the stratosphere.
360 Km above, they broke the second layer, entering the third layer; the mesosphere.
And Ezekiel made a barrier around him and his son using his wind manipulation.
Netzer seemed to be nervous about something. Whether it was the fact that he was riding on the back of the dragon king or it was because he was returning to his birth place, only he would know.
They weren't flying horizontally, instead they were flying vertically, breaking the layers that shielded the planet from harmful radiation and the poisonous aura of the crimson moon.
Their journey is slow as the two dragons appear to be mindful of their passengers.
—Are we there yet?—
Kyrios finally insisted, his voice full of impatience.
—Haha…it'll take more time, my brave sunshine. We are about to break through the thermosphere—
As he explained, they truly came into a breathtaking view of the planet below them, entering the most beautiful fourth layer; the thermosphere.
They were 5,000 km above the planet. The sky was as dark as an obsidian gemstone on the crown of a demon king, mesmerizing even to Kyriaki's eyes.
The curved planet, with five continents rich with green and brown hue surrounded by the beautiful blue ocean, looked so fascinating it tickled the protective instincts hidden deep inside a dragon's heart.
Slowly, with no hurry, they flew upward, savouring the beautiful scenery in a relaxing manner.
As they reached the 5,000 Km limit, they broke through the thermosphere, entering the last protective air layer of the planet; the exosphere.
'The distance between air layers and the planet surface is different from the Earth. Since the size of the planet is also different, the gravity, the atmosphere, the density of air and so on…everything is very different.'
Kyriaki thoughtfully deduced.
—Get ready, kids. We are about to exit the exosphere—
It took them 32,000 Km to reach the end of the outermost layer of the planet.
'Ah!' Kyriaki gasped involuntarily. '...What a sight.'
Maybe the will of the world was playing mind games with her.
It was the same view she saw when the mysterious entity showed her Mitherr-ge for the first time, but seeing it from a dragon's point of view felt completely different.
The planet was so beautiful with a faint aura of sky blue hue emitting. Five continents; some small, some large, speared around the round planet surrounded by the breathtaking and mysterious ocean.
Although still a hatchling, she could naturally feel the planet rotation as well.
Kyriaki felt as if suddenly the genre of her story changed to sci-fi as her golden gaze lingered on the beautiful planet.
The way two dragons flew abruptly changed, now flying in horizontal motion.
It wasn't too bad of a feeling to fly around the planet. Knowing she wasn't the one committing the tiresome act, it felt more enjoyable.
Soon, they catched the view of their final destination.
The moon.
Yes, the moon. It was their final destination.
All of them were momentarily taken aback by the breathtaking silver moon. In shape, color and size the moon was the complete opposite image of Mitherr-ge. With one glance, Kyriaki knew it was thrice the size of earth in her previous life.
As they drew near the moon, something that seemed out of place came to their view.
A large palace, surrounded by a transparent dome and a massive fluorescent city stood tall on the moon's surface.
In size the palace before her was ten times as large as the King's Palace Kyriaki lived in. A beautiful palace as big as a large city, that wasn't so important to Kyriaki.
What was so interesting and important was the fact that it was not any palace one could find in a fantasy world from those dreamy novels.
At that moment, Kyriaki truly felt she was slowly drifting apart from the fantasy genre she experienced the most in her new life.
Why?
What welcomed her was a building that was straight out of a sci-fi novel. Tall towers, glass walls, neon lights, large holographic screens, 3D billboards and small spaceships flying around… who wouldn't think they had time traveled a few thousand years into the future?
'Did I transmigrate into the maxvel universe? Am I inside an avexgerx film? No, this scenery is more advanced than even the world shown in those films.'
She knew.
She frankly knew this was her destination from the memories she obtained from the original Kyrios.
She even knew some secret passages and chambers in this place like the back of her hand.
And yet, seeing it in her own eyes felt truly different.
The Selene Palace.
What a magnificent piece of art left behind by her ancestors.
As Endymion and Elysium safely landed in front yard of the massive palace, carefully letting them set foot on the moon for the first time, something she expected yet unfamiliar happened right next to where Kyriaki stood.
「Welcome to the Selene Palace!」
A cheerful voice, with a hint of robotic vocal colors, tickled her ears.
Kyriaki turned around to meet a woman about 175 centimeters tall. Long hair neatly braided into one reaching her ankles, a tiny mole on the jawline, long eye lashes and big eyes filled with playfulness and an innocence that cannot be hidden, slender figure with a thin waist displaying her delicate features… She was a true beauty.
But was she human?
No.
Then was she a dragon?
In a sense, yes.
However if one needs an accurate answer, it would be a reluctant No.
Because the woman was basked in blue hue, flickering between the fine line of nihility and viability.
She was transparent, just like the screens and large billboards around her.
She was not among the living, as she is the Selene Palace herself.
An AI, designed to control and monitor the massive palace by the founder, Thanasios Kairo Eleftherios.
Her story… no, their story was a sorrowful one.
But to Kyriaki, that type of story was for another time to think and dig deep.
「Your Majesty, and Little Eddie…you brought guests?」
The AI asked, her voice filled with curiosity.
But that can't be.
An AI doesn't have emotions.
Kyriaki watched her, her eyes held a bit of amusement for the AI that mimicked human emotions so well.
"Stop calling me that, I'm your former master and the father of your King!" Endymion grumbled, emerging from the thick golden mist he created.
His usual mysterious and gentle aura was no more, as he looked like a child complaining to his mother.
"Say Hello to My children, Selene. They're the future of our race." Ignoring his father completely, Elysium introduced them to the AI with a proud smile.
「Oh, does that mean…」 The AI observed the twins with a smirk.
Kyriaki stepped forward.
She placed her right hand a bit above her solar plexus where a Dragon's heart resides while her left hand went to the hem of her dress.
She placed her left foot a few inches behind her right foot as her waist was slightly bent down. She moved her head as if she was doing a slow deliberate nod.
This was the way Dragons acknowledge the presence of those with lower status.
"Hello. I'm Kyriaki Elpis Eleftherios, only daughter of King Elysium. It was a pleasure to meet Selene, caretaker of the true Dragon Palace and the Moon City."
「Gasp! You already know who I am, that's a first. Not to mention the perfect and elegant etiquette」 Selene giggled happily.
"Wait, Ria. How do you know of her… no, come to think of it, you weren't that surprised to see the palace either. It's almost as if—"
"I just heard rumors. King's palace is full of elves and visiting dragons after all." As Elysium began to weave his own speculations, Kyriaki cut in middle like a merciless high official of the government, tormenting lower civil servants.
「Wow… the little princess' observation skills are praiseworthy. I look forward to your awakening ceremony」
"I won't disappoint you."
Selene's gaze lingered on her for a few seconds after their conversation ended so bluntly. Then with a short laugh, she turned her attention to Kyrios. She was supposed to show a lot of interest in Kyrios in the first place.
There was a reason for it. As Kyrios' title "Chosen One of The First Dragon Monarch" suggested, Thanasios the First Dragon Monarch as well as the sole founder of this place saw a vision of Kyrios.
So when he built this palace and created Selena, he also instructed her to pay special attention to Kyrios and help him if a chance arose.
Kyriaki started at them conversing cheerfully with a bored expression when a small hovering car, or a space ship if the former term doesn't fit, parked right in front of her.
A tall woman, dressed in a neat maid outfit came out of it without a slight change in her expression.
Golden yellow eyes met bright violet.
Silence.
And then—
"Pleasure to meet you, I'm Kyriaki Elpis Eleftherios."
Kyriaki calmly introduced herself the same way she did with Selene, catching the attention of Ezekiel and Netzer who were watching the interaction between Kyrios, Endymion, Elysium and Selena.
"I bow before The Glory of Dragons. My name is Abigail Dalia Avihud, the former personal assistant of Her Majesty and current head maid of Selene Palace. I apologize for my late introduction."
Abigail knelt before her like a warrior, completely different from how maids bow and show respect typically. Her neatly braided black hair fell over her shoulder like a whip as the smell of fresh grass and lemonade gently rubbed Kyriaki's nose.
"Yes, the honor is all mine. To think I could finally meet the head of House Avihud after all the waiting, I was very impressed to find out about your grandmother; Eve Avihud's achievements in The War of Eternal Eclipse." Kyriaki's eyes curved down as her gentle smile caused Abigail's eyes to widen slightly.
In Dark High Elven culture, they prioritize women very highly. It would be best to say they worship them, similar to how dragons treat their Apomero.
And according to customs, once they get married, the woman's surname is passed to her husband and children. And the woman becomes the family head. Although not uncommon, It was still rare for a male elf to take that place.
Abigail was surprised to find that a young hatchling already knew so much about their traditions and culture.
In her eyes, although Kyriaki was celebrating her 100th birthday, the time she was conscious and active was less than half a year at most.
For hatchlings who usually express their arrogance, mischief and desire to play to have interest in another's affairs let alone deeply study and understand other races was something awestrucking.
Abigail had heard her husband praising the princess often, despite her being a mutated dragon.
And after having a light greeting, she found herself looking forward to seeing the little hatchling grow up in the future.

Dragons are simply addressed upon "Dragons" as a whole race. That was understandable since they rarely showed their true identity to other races, especially humans.
However, if one were to witness the race called Dragons as a whole, they'd realize right away how those mighty and wise creatures are internally different.
Dragons have sub branches to their noble bloodline divided to four;
The first branch to steal anyone's eyes are undoubtedly Arch-Dragons; the largest type with strong wings, long and sturdy neck, tail and a beautiful bridge of small horns up from their head to tail.
An ancient Arch-Dragon has six wings and horns of different sizes, like a crown. Whereas the rest proudly wear four horns. As their mere physical strength far surpassed other branches, even among human fairytales, this type is always very popular.
And then there's the second strongest type; Pteron-Dragons.
With feather wings glittering like soaked in liquid form of vibrant gemstones, graceful and long necks, two long and sophisticated horns, feather decorated tails, elbows and a head, they are also called the swan of the dragons.
Although a bit smaller in size compared to Arch-Dragons, they are undeniably powerful. Famous for their wisdom and insight, they're respected by all without any denial.
The tired branch of dragon race; Makros-Dragons. Also in some dimensions known as Eastern dragons, Oriental Dragons or Long dragons.
The exact opposite of other dragons in appearance. They have no wings as their dazzling scales have a special effect of unconsciously manipulating gravity and wind from birth.
If a clueless human might glance at them, they might just mistake Makros-Dragons for giant serpents with a dragon head covered in a mane and four legs. However in reality, their traits are most practical and envied among dragons.
Makros-Dragons are famous for being quiet and introverted, yet cold and ruthless when needed.
This leads to the last and the weakest branch; Fae-Dragons.
With their beautifully glowing wings shaped like butterflies yet transparent like dragonflies, and dazzling scales similar to Arch dragons, they are called the smallest and most delicate sub-branch among dragons.
So much so their weak appearance was enough to provoke the protective instincts of others of their kind.
Although mischievous in nature, as they are famous for being the most beautiful and colorful dragons among all, they also stand as a very popular mate candidate for all.
And currently, those dragons—all of them—were slowly gathering in one place for a very special occasion.
A few hours after the arrival of the royal family, more and more dragons of various sizes, colors and shapes started to gather in the Selene Palace.
Proud and noble by nature, one might assume they would act high and mighty the moment they landed.
But contrary to assumptions, the Dragons seemed to be glad to meet their kin as well as their close aids; Dark Elves. They greeted one another with unmistakable adoration and interest, catching up to latest gossip, fashion trends and progress of their own growth.
—Gasps! It's House Argyris!— A Fae-Dragon with colors full of Red-ashgrey-orange in appearance looked up at the planet far away with awe.
His Ash grey eyes fixed on the group of dragons flying towards the palace with the beautiful planet in the background.
A group of Pteron-Dragons, accompanied by two Makros-Dragons landed on the high platform gracefully.
Among them, everyone's gaze was fixed on one family.
A white Pteron-Dragon with tips of his wings, horns, claws, tail and some feather tinted with a beautiful aquamarine blue color pushed up his front claw, revealing an adorable hatchling identical to the adult dragon.
The hatchling, with curious ocean blue slit pupils, scanned the surroundings including the massive palace before him.
—So…do you like it?— The adult Pteron-Dragon asked cautiously, letting the group he came with leave early.
After a pause, a cheerful voice replied.
—Yeah! It's sooo big and pretty, Dad— The hatchling jumped up, running towards the edge of the platform.
His enthusiasm attracted admiring gazes. But for some reason, his father and mother—who was a Makros-Dragon with a silver body and lilac color horns, tail and claws—looked saddened.
Even though that brief sadness vanished the moment their child looked back at them, it was evident they had some worries hidden in depth.
—Let's go inside, we have to get ready for tomorrow's awakening ceremony— The Makros-Dragon urged them to follow the already left family members, her eyes blinking in concern.
With that, the last group of dragons finally arrived at the most sacred, beautiful and safe place in the entire Primal Plane.
If they knew what kind of change tomorrow would bring to them, they might've been more restless and excited than now, yet even those who had foresight were unable to perceive tomorrow, leaving them with ever increasing curiosity.
Unbeknown to all, in the deepest part of the Selene Palace, at the west wing where only the royal princes and princesses was allowed to reside, on the highest floor, inside a massive room befitting a child of the King, a tiny girl sat loafing on a sofa, observing all the dragons arrived at the palace through a CCTV screen.
She munched on a strawberry shaped fruit with black skin and white spots. Commonly known as moonberry—An elixir only dragons and dark elves know—as they grew only on the moon.
「Ria, I thought you were a polite person」
Selene, standing beside the sofa, stroked her chin as she observed Kyriaki observing the dragons on the screen. It displayed the last group of dragons entering the palace through a massive gate that was at least 200 meters tall.
"And your point?" Kyriaki replied nonchalantly, her eyes still on the screen, or more accurately, on a cheerful hatchling chippering with his parents.
She didn't care that she was addressed by a pet name. After all, even her grandfather and the former master of Selene was addressed that way by the AI.
「It's rude to monitor people secretly without their knowledge in secret」
"What's so bad about using my authority as a princess? Besides, you'll report this to dad anyway, which means this won't be a secret."
「May I ask why you're monitoring the people entering the palace?」
Ignoring Kyriaki's sharp deduction, Selena shamelessly insisted.
"Just personal interest." Kyriaki's answer was flat and plain.
Shrugging her shoulders as if it wasn't even worth talking, she put two moonberries in her tiny mouth.
「How amusing」 Selene giggled softly as her eyes curved into pleasant crescent moons.
"Ah Ria~ stop watching other guys and explain the history of the dragon calendar for me." Out of the blue, an adorable voice in distress popped out behind the sofa.
Kyriaki let out a soft chuckle as she turned around and sat up on the sofa on her knees. She looked down at the little boy leaning against the back of the sofa and staring at the wall, dejected.
'You still hate the history subject, even in the new timeline, huh?' She stared at her twin brother with interest for a moment before opening her mouth.
"I can't. You were the one who started that silly bet with grandpa, so you have to find it on your own. He forbade me from helping you, remember?"
"Ahhhh…whyyyyy… I can't get access to Selene's Grand Library before awakening, this is unfair!!!" Kyrios whined, kicking his legs and curving his adorable lips downward.
"That's exactly why he suggested a bet. You shouldn't have fallen for his tricks like a fool. Now suffer and reflect so that you won't get tricked later." Said Kyriaki.
Her tone was indifferent. Even so, there was a small twitch on her rosy lips as she watched Kyrios kick his legs harder.
「Oh my, so cold, so cruel… Rio, you should find a new sister, this one is too indifferent」
Selene laughed out loud. Her voice, tinted with robotic effects, filled the massive room in an instant.
Kyriaki turned her head to look at Selene for a few seconds. A small smirk formed on her lips as her eyes twinkled in a mysterious light, making Selene froze in the tracks.
"Rio…" In a soft voice, like the softness of a cotton ball, she called out. "But there's a loophole in the bet?"
"Huh? Where?" Rio's back straightened immediately. He lifted his head, looking at his sister above.
"Grandpa said not to get help from any dragon or elf." Like the devil's temptation, Kyriaki whispered gently.
Kyrios, true to his intelligent dragon nature, quickly grasped her hints, standing up at the speed of light.
"Selene!" He exclaimed.
「No」Selene disappeared in an instant.
Kyriaki laughed blissfully as she watched it happen, her dreamy and gentle laughter, more beautiful than any fairy's, was very pleasant.
"Use your authority." Then she whispered again, like a true demon.
"Selene…In the name of Thanasios, I, Prince Kyrios, order you to give me every information you have of the dragon calendar." As Kyrios excitedly exclaimed, Kyriaki got up with a gentle smile on her face, brushing her wrinkled dress elegantly.
By the direct orders of the First Monarch, Selene is bound to assist Kyrios in any situation using any means necessary. Only Thanasios, Selene and Kyriaki know of this fact, until Thanasios himself would reveal it in the distant future.
「Eddie would be really upset…」 muttering with disdain, Selene appeared in front of Kyrios with her hands politely overlapping with one another. At that moment, her posture was the textbook perfect AI robot.
「The dragon calendar starts with the end of God's war and the start of the dragon royalty」
Selene shot a resentful glare towards Kyriaki. She, in return, winked at her, mouthing;
"I'll be back soon."
「After the war ended, the will of Mitherr-ge personally requested dragons to become the guardians of the Primal Plane and the gate keepers of five planes. Thus accepting the request from the will of the world, the dragons selected the war hero Thanasios as their King and Ruler of Mitherr-ge, marking the start of monarchy and the invention of the Dragon Calendar. In the Dragon Calendar, P.A refers to Prin Anax, which translates to before the lord in ancient Drakonic. And M.A refers to Meta Anax. Which means after the lord. Currently we are living in the year 1,001,100 M.A. To honor the dragons who chose him as their King, Thanasios created the Dragon Calendar with 12 months named after 6 main houses and the 6 branch houses who helped him to put an end to the war. They are Sokratis, Orpheus, Argyris, Georgios, Sophocles, Stergios, Eudoxos, Zoticas, Asterios, Hectate, Hermes and Nestor in order. One year includes 365 days, with the exception of crimson moon day that comes every 4 years, adding an additional day to a random month. Races like spirits, titans, fairies, dark elves and dwarves also willingly use this calendar for…」
Selena continued to give deeper information, including untold stories and unnecessary events, making it easy for Kyriaki to sneak away without Kyrios noticing.
She left the room with a soft smile before looking at Kyrios who listened to Selene with an eager expression through the closing door.
She'd never thought it would lead her to meet someone she'd get entangled with for the rest of her life that day.

"This palace will be the last gift I'd give to my kin. Therefore, protect and be protected. When the time comes, Selene will prove herself more worthy than anything else."
—By Thanasios the First Dragon Monarch at the opening ceremony of the Selene Palace, 1 M.A Dragon Calendar—
