With the defeat of Kronos, not only did this war came to an end. Damon looked carefully at the floating pieces of Kronos before turning around and looking at the Cyclopes, who were carrying a large golden chest. He signaled for them to approach him.
When they arrived at the scene, they opened the chest and allowed Damon to place the pieces of Kronos inside it, ensuring that his immortal body would never reform again. Damon closed the golden chest, sadness visible on his face.
Having to defeat, cut apart, and seal his own father was not the life he wanted, but he had no other choice. It was either that or allow his brothers and even Rhea to suffer a similar fate. He chose to carry the burden of this absurd war.
"It wasn't the ending I wanted, but you left me no other choice" he murmured while touching the chest.
"We know you wanted peace and just do your bity with your family we just want to say that, not all the time things go our way. But if you grow strong enough fate will bind to you. You have proved that in this battle, and we respect you for it." said the cyclopes feeling the sadness in Damon
Damon looked at the Cyclopes, smiling at those words. "Hahaha, I didn't expect those words to come from you."
"Most people don't come near us or try to talk to us because of our appearance, so we don't try either. But we don't feel that from you, and for that, you have our gratitude," the Cyclopes said.
Damon nodded, thanking the Cyclopes for their support.
A sense of tranquility swept across the battlefield. Damon stood amidst its fading echoes, feeling the weight of finally winning the battle settle within him. The air around him blazed with serenity.
"Without a doubt, it is time for a new beginning; there will be much to undo and much to build," Damon said. And with that, a pulse of divinity suddenly erupted outward, momentarily blinding everything around him. As the light receded, Damon felt his power drawing together, the domains of Creation and Destruction manifesting above him alongside the domain of Sky.
The onlookers stared in shock as a new god rose before them. Damon looked up at his domains, in disbelief, never expecting them to appear so suddenly…
The Cyclopes laughed when they saw the surprise on his face.
"It seems the universe itself has acknowledged your victory with these Domains. We are not very familiar with such matters, but we assume that, with the Titans sealed away and stripped of power, the universe feels that void and recognizes your efforts."
"Then I accept them without a doubt," Damon murmured, feeling those forces align beneath his command.
After saying those words, he looked forward to seeing his brothers approaching him, almost completely healed. Surprise, shock, and happiness were evident on their faces. (except for you know who hahaha)
"You did it, Damon, you really defeated him, and you got your domains," Poseidon said with a big smile while hugging his brother.
"We did it Poseidon. I could not have done all of this alone" Damon replied while looking at Hades over Poseidon's shoulder.
"This war is finally over, thank you Damon. Without you we could not have done it" Hades said while extending his hand.
Damon quickly shook Hades' hand while smiling. "Like I told Poseidon, I didn't do this alone."
Zeus approached Damon, " How could you have gotten your domains like that? Where is mine???"
Damon simply smiled. "That's what happens when you train, boy… hahah. Nah, but seriously, you'll get yours sooner or later, I'm sure. Remember, we are the first. The rules haven't been made yet… it's up to us to set the rules for those who come after us" he said playfully.
Zeus nodded, but inwardly, his thoughts darkened. He could not allow Damon to grow stronger than him. If taking the Domains of others was possible, then he would find a way.
"What will we do with that and the other Titans?" Hades asked while nodding toward the chest.
"As long as you leave Oceanus and Hyperion and the Titanides alone, do whatever you want with the rest. Honestly, locking them in Tartarus so they cannot rise again and attempt another war would be best" Damon replied, receiving nods from Hades and Poseidon. Zeus, however, was not so sure about leaving Oceanus and Hyperion free.
"Why leave those two free?" Zeus tried to argue. "They are strong enough to start another war on their own."
"If what worries you is their strength, simply tell them they must surrender their domains if they want to be free. Then divide those domains among yourselves since I already have mine" Damon replied quickly. "Remember we owe them a favor for being the only Titans who opposed Kronos when he started eating us because of his paranoia" Damon added while looking toward the nearest forest, since he could feel a familiar presence there.
As soon as he inspected the forest with his gaze, he saw someone very important to him, which brought a small smile to his face. He tried to find an excuse to leave his brothers so he could go see that person.
"Go to Mount Olympus and announce that we won. I have one last thing to do. I will meet you during the celebration" he said with a smile on his face while walking toward the Hecatoncheir.
"Oh, and there is someone there that I was told to protect. If I find out you did something to her…" he added quickly with a wicked smile while making a scissor motion with his fingers.
Both Poseidon and Hades grabbed their jewels and nodded fiercely. Zeus tried to act tough, but he paled at the image and unconsciously moved his hands toward his crotch.
Damon approached the Hecatoncheires to tell them something they might not take very well.
"I know I told you I would give you freedom, and you will have it. But if the Titans are locked in Tartarus, I would like you to guard the entrance so they cannot escape and so no one tries to free them."
"Relax, we were already planning to do that even if you didn't say it. Being out here for too long is not for us" they said while all their faces smiled, receiving a nod of gratitude from Damon.
As soon as the Hecatoncheires said that, Damon headed toward the forest where he had seen that person, a smile on his face. Just as he entered the forest, he began walking until he reached a clearing where several presences were gathered. He only knew one of them, but he could guess who the others were.
"You have grown Damon... God of Creation, Destruction, and Sky, compared to the last time I saw you, it's like night and day," the woman said as she approached him.
"What can I say? I am amazing, and I had a great teacher," he replied while hugging the woman in front of him. "I missed you, Amaterasu."
Amaterasu happily returned the hug. "Come, I'll introduce you to the others," she said while guiding Damon toward the others who were watching him.
Soon a man approached the two of them.
"You impressed me quite a bit in that battle. I must say Amaterasu chose well when she decided to teach you," he said while raising his hand to shake Damon's.
When Damon shook the unknown man's hand, he glanced sideways at Amaterasu, expecting her to introduce him, which she quickly noticed.
"Damon, this is Susanoo, the god of the sea, storms, and battles of my pantheon," Amaterasu said.
"A pleasure," Damon replied simply.
"The pleasure is mine, boy. I hope we can have a friendly fight someday. I want to see for myself what you're capable of," Susanoo said, receiving a smile from Damon.
"Of course, whenever you want," Damon replied with a smile.
While Damon and Susanoo continued their brief conversation under Amaterasu's watchful gaze, another man approached to introduce himself.
"I see why my sister chose to teach you. You have potential, and I cannot sense any bad intentions behind your actions. Like my brother Susanoo, I was also impressed by your fight with Kronos. You are better than what she told us," the newcomer said, drawing everyone's attention as he approached the group.
"He is Tsukuyomi, the god of the moon of my pantheon, Damon," Amaterasu explained.
"Oh, Amaterasu spoke very well of you while she was training me and telling me a bit about the Shinto pantheon," Damon said with a smile as he extended his hand.
"I hope to see you more often. You're an interesting young man," Tsukuyomi said while raising his own hand to shake Damon's.
There were still more introductions to be made. A woman watched the interactions carefully, but she couldn't introduce herself yet because new presences suddenly appeared.
Four new figures arrived at the scene. Everyone seemed to recognize them, but Damon only recognized one of the four.
"Well, I certainly didn't expect this," Susanoo said upon seeing the four newcomers.
"To what do we owe the honor of standing before other primordials?" one of the Shinto gods Damon did not yet know asked.
"We are here for Damon, Izanagi," one of the primordials said.
"For the primordials themselves to be interested in a young man… that is quite rare… and interesting, to say the least," said the one now known as Izanagi.
"He has caught the interest of many more, even of primordials above us," another primordial said while looking at Damon, who was staring intently at one of them in particular.
"Uranus? What are you doing here? I thought you were sealed in Tartarus," Damon said, somewhat confused to see Uranus again.
