Chapter 13 - Circle Time

Vivian's POV

Going against what she normally would have done.

Vivian Rose, a simple preschool teacher, had gone out and she'd head a one night stand.

But while for her, such behavior was out of the ordinary, for other people it was not.

Sure, her guy was none other than billionaire Ryan Terrell.

But in the end he was just a man. A man who had nearly fucked the life out of her with his magical dick, but still just a man, at the end of the day.

Being that Ryan Terrell, despite all of the money and power he had, was just another human male. Vivian had thought that her experience would be the same as those of most people who had taken part in a one night stand.

That with the fading of her marks from that splendid night, her memories of the entire thing would also start to fade. That she would no longer be thinking about that night so often.

But that was not the case at all.

Her bruises were almost completely gone, but her memories of that night were as sharp as ever.

She remembered how his eyes looked with his pupils having pushed the blue all the way to the edges. She still vividly recalled the feel of his fingers deep within her.

Some mornings she still woke up to the scent of sandalwood in her nose, her tongue remembered the weight of his dick, and her pussy still longed for the monster in his pants.

It made no sense.

Time was supposed to dull everything. But for her everything was becoming sharper and easier to remember with each passing day.

Even so, Vivian was somebody who prided herself on her control.

If she really truly did not wish to think about something then she did not.

And so even though memories of her night of passion with Ryan Terrell still haunted her whenever she was on her own. In the presence of others Vivian did her best to push all of that to the back of her mind and focus.

For a little while she was certain that she had it under control. As it turned out she really did not

One of Vivian's absolute favourite things about being a preschool teacher was the innocence that kids displayed over things that adults often took for granted.

That day they were having circle time. With the kids taking turns talking about what their parents did for a living.

"My daddy is a spider," Little Micah said, and despite the impossibility of the statement no one called him out on it. Instead there was a chorus of oohs and aahs.

"What kind of spider, is he a tarantula? My older brother has a pet tarantula but he won't let me touch it," Anne piped up, her lower lip sticking out, a sign that she was very upset over that, and Vivian had to smile.

"No, not like that. My daddy is a spider because he climbs at the top of those long poles that bring eclecty…ecwici-"

"Electricity," Vivian corrected softly and the little boy nodded, adjusting his glasses.

"Yeah, that! He climbs high every day and because of him being a spider I can watch TV,"

There was a deafening round of applause.

And then little Margaret went on to inform them that one of her mums was a 'wife guard'(life guard) who had a really cool whistle and could swim real good.

It was all going great until one of the little boys, Paul, told the class that his mother counted money for a terrier.

Vivian, as lost as the rest of the class, could only blink as the little boy tried to make them understand.

"Terrier like my puppies?" Misha asked, and Paul shook his head.

 "No, not like puppies,"

"Mommy says the terrier likes to play and go to big parties,"

And just like that, it clicked what Paul was trying to say.

"Oh, Paul, you mean your mother counts money for Ryan Terrell' that suave and dashing -" Realizing what she was saying, and who she was saying it in front of. Vivian shut her mouth so fast her teeth clicked.

Multiple pairs of curious eyes stared at her.

Kids being the piranhas they wear whenever an adult made a mistake were all suddenly suspiciously alert.

"What are su-ave, and dash-ing?" Kyoko asked, pronouncing the new words in parts, and Vivian felt herself blush. She was torn between being proud of the little girl for getting the words right, and embarrassment.

Feeling dizzy and very hot, Vivian told them the first thing that came to mind. "Ahh…they mean he is really stylish," The kids nodded, and Vivian wanted to jump off a cliff.

How could she have let her guard down so much that she let thoughts of the man affect her. Staring at the kids, Vivian wanted to find a place to hide and never come out. But she knew that if she did that, the school director would not be happy with her at all. So despite her embarrassment, she rushed to do damage control when yet another question was leveled her way.

"Then why did you smile all silly when you said that?" Goodness! The kids really wanted her to lose her job.

"I was just very happy that all of you are good at sharing," In an effort to bury the situation completely, she changed from circle time, to song and dance time.

When school finally ended and the parents came to pick up their kids, Vivian was almost certain that her little slip up was long forgotten.

Hopefully the kids would be far too busy telling their parents about what a great time they'd had singing and dancing to bring up something so minor.

"Oh my goodness, you're kidding me!" Wiping tears from her eyes.

Amy stared at Vivian like she just told her the funniest thing ever.

"It is not funny Amy. If one of the teachers had happened to be passing by, I would have been done for," Nodding seriously, even though there was still a smile on her face. Amy gave Vivian a reassuring pat on the shoulder.

"Do you think they bought it. That none of them will repeat it?"

Vivian nodded. "I certainly hope so. Micah's mom is always looking for trouble, if she catches even a whiff of the fact that I almost said something out of order, I will be in seriously hot soup,"

Picking up a slice of pepperoni pizza from the box and taking a bite, Vivian closed her eyes and allowed herself to just enjoy the flavours. Not letting her mind focus on what would have happened to her if she had not covered up her mistake.

"Don't be too hard on yourself Vivian, at least you managed to stop yourself in time and turned the situation around," Opening her eyes Vivian gave her friend a mournful look.

"I nearly robbed those poor kids of their innocence,"

Amy snorted at that. "They are pre-schoolers Vivian, you might think of them as your sweet

innocent kids. But I am telling you most of those babies probably know how to curse like sailors. I am pretty sure 'suave and charming' are nothing compared to some of the words they know,"

" I almost talked about how sexy he is in front of them. My poor babies!"

Clearly still not seeing how serious the situation was, Amy took a bite of her own pizza, chewed slowly, swallowed, and only then did she speak.

"If you keep thinking about it like that you will never forgive yourself. Instead of viewing it as you nearly messing up, view it as you taking the safest route," Not understanding what her friend was getting at, Vivian stared at her and Amy smiled.

"It could have been worse, seriously, can you imagine if you'd said…Oh, you mean Ryan Terrell, the man with the good dick. Now that, you would not have been able to cover up. You would have had a classroom singing, dick, dick, dick, dick!"

Shoulders shaking, in laughter Vivian could not help but look at her friend in gratitude. She had been beating herself up over nearly messing up so much that she'd failed to realize that she could have made an even bigger mistake.

Leaning forward she hugged Amy tight, coating the back of her friend's shirt, with cheese and tomato sauce in the process.

Later that night as she settled into bed, Vivian found herself hoping that thoughts of Ryan Terrell would stop being at the forefront of her mind. But she got the feeling that it was just wishful thinking.
