"Chichi, Dad is back, it is time to celebrate! Wow, Dad is back! Alright, I'm coming down in a few seconds."
When I came down, I saw the three of them already there, waiting for me, and I came in fully dressed. My brother looked at me and said, "Wow, sis, you are not going anywhere, are you?"
"I'm not going anywhere, but I'm a... I'm a celebrant," and my father and mother laughed.
"Oh dear, the way you are being excited like this, can you cope in school, hm? She that love hiding behind me, how will she cope, hm?"
I told him, "Don't get full of yourself, I will surely make friends that will protect me."
"Alright, alright, let's celebrate."
Few moments later, everybody is busy patting their tummy, satisfied.
"Dad, I think we should go register me immediately since my admission is late."
"Alright, in two days time, we'll be going, okay."
"Daddy, I will work out in these two days."
And I followed my dad to his business shop and smiled the best smile I could smile to customers, 'cause they know me for always frowning.
Two days later, we closed the shop, nobody there to take over the shop, and then we traveled. We arrived there two hours later and went to register, but it was stressful. My dad was looking at me with anger in his eyes.
"Come on, so if I didn't follow you, is what you will be doing? Stop dragging your feet, hm?"
But I know him. I walked fast. After we are done with the registration, he took me to my new apartment. We cleaned it, and off we go.
But let me tell you, I didn't clean it for myself. 'Cause my dad sees me as incompetent, "Come see," he said. "Wow, so if you get married, is this how you are going to behave in your husband's house?"
I shivered, remembering that thought. "Don't worry, Daddy, you will be the one cleaning in my husband's house." I laughed secretly.
"And the funniest part is that Chichi's and her dad, they didn't bring anything along with them for cleaning the house – just the carpet, curtains, and equipment for setting up the curtains. When they arrived at the apartment, they were shocked to discover... what did they come to do? Clean up? No bucket, no detergent, nothing. Nothing! So, they had to beg the other tenant, the neighbors, 'Please borrow us.' we used their bucket and broom to do the work.
At first, Chichi started diligently. When her father went to look for something they could eat and buy detergent, Chichi swept... like you know. She's hundred percent sure the room is clean. When her daddy arrived, he saw some mess on it.
He was like, 'Chichi, so you can't do any simple task.'
'But Dad, I swept well.'
'What is this? What is this? So if I didn't follow you, this is what you are going to do?' So her dad did it very well, like an humble man, and Chichi stood there admiring him while eating her food, her snacks at that.
At the end of the day, dad had to finish because he had to arrive back to where they were living immediately, so he could attend his business. He can't leave his business for a day, unless emergency. So after they were done, they rushed back to catch a bus back to their town. And due to the bus also was not full, the bus is always looking for passengers, the bus broke down two times. So we had to... when we knew that we were close the town, we just abandoned the driver and entered a bike to the town. And then we arrived home and saw that my elder brother, had slept, but only my mom who was staying in the living room, she was..wide awake.
she asked "what happened, why did the delay?"
'Nothing,"
" no, just that the motor broke down.' And my mom said, 'Chichi, don't worry, it will be fine.' I said okay, okay. I went in, ate, and slept."
