Chapter 12 - Interrogation

LUCA'S POV

The basement felt colder than normal, or maybe it was just tony Russo's anxiety draining the warmth from the room. 

I didn't lean on the table or walk back and forth just to instill fear in him. No, there was no need for that. My presence alone was enough to make him shiver in the chair which he was tied to with secured electric ropes. 

Tony's shirt was now sticking to his chest and his wrists were bruised under the rope ties, he had been twisting them since they pulled him in.

His eyes kept darting to me then to two of my men stationed at the door, the swarm of bees above and then back to me. Every time his eyes settled on me, they stayed for a moment longer, like he was searching for something in my expression that wasn't there.

My expression was neutral so there was nothing for him to see. I waited until his breathing slowed down, so much that I could number how many seconds passed between each inhale. Then I began.
