Warehouse Battle
The explosion outside shook the entire warehouse.
Dust filled the air.
Ryan quickly pulled Ariba behind a metal container.
"They're coming in!" he shouted.
Outside, armed men surrounded the building.
Victor checked his gun calmly.
"Looks like the Architect really wants us dead."
Ariba clenched her fists.
"Then we fight back."
The warehouse door suddenly burst open.
Several armed men rushed inside.
Gunshots echoed through the building.
Ryan fired back while protecting Ariba.
Victor moved quickly from cover to cover.
For a moment it felt like chaos everywhere.
One of the attackers shouted,
"Capture Ariba alive!"
Ariba heard it clearly.
"They want me alive," she whispered.
Victor nodded.
"That means you're more important than we thought."
Suddenly another explosion shook the wall.
A hole appeared in the side of the warehouse.
Ryan shouted,
"That's our exit!"
The three of them ran toward the opening and escaped into the dark forest behind the building.
But far away, watching everything through a drone camera, a mysterious man smiled.
"Run as much as you want," he said calmly.
"The game is just beginning."
