"I'll go out and see." Huai Xu patted the back of Su Yu's hand reassuringly, turned, and left the cave. Earl Li drifted out slowly behind him.
On the platform at the cave entrance, Qiao Lin and Lei Gu stood somewhat awkwardly. When they saw Huai Xu, they quickly said, "Lord Huai Xu, a lioness came to the foot of the mountain just now. She said her name is Ke Li and she's looking for the Goddess."
"She also said she's Lord Kasen's younger sister and has been looking for him for a long time, so we told her he was here. She might be on her way up the mountain to find you now, so I thought I should come and let you know."
As soon as Qiao Lin finished speaking, Kasen rushed out of the cave in a panic, holding a bewildered Ao Yue in his arms. He looked at Qiao Lin with a face full of anticipation. "Are you serious? Did you really see Ke Li?"
Qiao Lin nodded. "I saw her."
She hesitated for a moment, then continued, "But... I don't know if she's the sister you're looking for."
