Another vision appeared before the Great Toad Sage as he remained trapped in that chaotic state, having completely lost control over what his blue third eye was showing him. This time, the image revealed the golden figure seated upon the immense golden throne inside that grand hall in an extremely difficult state. It seemed to be exerting continuous effort to suppress something that did not clearly appear within the vision itself, yet its presence could be felt in every detail of the scene.
Before the Sage could fully comprehend what he was witnessing or form any meaningful understanding of it, it seemed that whatever the mysterious golden figure was struggling against had likewise sensed the presence of an unfamiliar eye observing the scene from beyond its boundaries.
At the very moment the Sage realized what was happening, the vision shifted once again without warning, and the sense of danger surrounding him surged to its absolute peak.
The Great Toad Sage tried to scream with all his strength, hoping that somehow his voice might shatter the vision or summon one of his children waiting outside the chamber. But he could not. His voice remained trapped within him, unable to escape.
Then an immense expanse appeared before him, filled with overlapping cries of agony, rage, and despair pouring in simultaneously from every direction. It was a place unlike anything he had ever seen in his entire life. Faces of countless beings began emerging and overlapping within that endless darkness humans, beasts, monsters, and grotesque creatures of every kind he recognized, alongside countless others unlike anything he had ever imagined. Eyes stared from every corner, while innumerable hands stretched endlessly through the darkness, reaching toward nothing they could grasp.
The chaos, the screaming, the pain, the hatred, and the madness filling that realm were beyond comprehension, as though every cry of suffering, every moment of despair, and every ounce of madness from countless ages had gathered within this single place, all struggling to express themselves at once.
Then he saw it.
At the very center of that horrifying realm stood an enormous giant, bound from head to toe by countless blue chains that wrapped around every part of its body without leaving even the smallest limb free. Every one of those chains extended toward an immense pillar rising from the center of that dreadful space, as though the pillar itself had been created for the sole purpose of imprisoning whatever was bound to it.
Flowing around the giant spread long golden hair that twisted endlessly in every direction. Within every single strand were countless eyes of different sizes and shapes, each staring toward a different direction at the same time, making the hair itself appear to be a living entity of its own.
At the center of the giant's face rested an enormous blue eye that occupied a vast portion of its features.
It was staring directly at him.
At that instant, the Great Toad Sage truly felt that he would never escape the situation into which he had once again thrown himself of his own free will. Yet just as that overwhelming sense of doom reached its peak, a radiant golden aura rose around him, surrounding him completely and placing itself between him and the shackled entity like a protective barrier.
Thanks to that golden light, the Sage was finally able to lower the gaze that had been frozen upon the terrifying giant. The golden aura had opened a tiny opportunity for him to break free.
The shackled entity seemed to attempt to say something.
But all that emerged from its mouth were fragmented murmurs and broken sounds, drowned beneath the endless screams of pain and rage that filled that dreadful realm.
Then the golden light surrounding the Sage flared with even greater brilliance, as though exerting additional effort to protect him and pull him away from something he had approached far more closely than he ever should have. It wrapped itself completely around him and carried him away from that horrifying realm, away from the gaze of madness belonging to that terrifying entity that never stopped following him until the very last instant.
At the same time, the golden light helped him break free from the prophetic state altogether.
He returned to his chamber within Mount Myōboku and slowly opened his eyes.
But before he could even breathe a sigh of relief, an overwhelming and sudden sensation of danger erupted from within his own body.
