Dan looked at the golden and black threads resting in his palm. They had fallen completely still after being severed from the will of their owners, making them far easier to manipulate according to his intentions.
As he observed them, a new idea took shape in his mind . one that would add even greater depth to the world he planned to create once his long-term plans began unfolding. Without hesitation, he moved to put the idea into practice. He opened a private dimensional space where he had stored an enormous quantity of natural energy gathered during his countless experiments compressing orange dwarf stars and refining them through the Fermentation Seal.
Over the past years, he had accumulated vast reserves of natural energy within various isolated dimensions by refining numerous orange dwarf stars. He regularly drew upon these reserves for his daily training, while keeping the remainder in storage for emergencies or future projects.
The particular dimension he opened now contained an immense amount of natural energy, produced by converting all the thermal and radiant energy of three orange dwarf stars into purified natural energy.
Dan then activated the Casimir Seal within that enormous storage dimension. He introduced the golden and black threads and each infused with a fragment of his own spiritual power and initiated the absorption process.
The threads immediately began drawing in the surrounding natural energy at an ever-increasing rate. As the process continued and their absorption accelerated, their form gradually started to change. Rather than remaining as separate intertwined strands, they slowly drew closer together, winding around one another more tightly than before. As more natural energy accumulated within them, their very structure began undergoing a far more fundamental transformation.
A crystalline shell slowly began forming around them. At first the process advanced gradually, but it accelerated with every additional surge of natural energy. The crystallization merged the golden and black colors into a single unified structure, neither dominating nor suppressing the other.
Once the initial stages of crystallization were complete, the intertwined threads finally fused into a small, dense blue sphere. A faint azure glow radiated from its core as it continued absorbing the surrounding natural energy, compressing it endlessly within itself. The greater the accumulation and pressure inside the sphere became, the smaller and denser its outer form grew.
Dan sealed the dimensional space, leaving the tiny blue sphere to continue its work uninterrupted. What had begun would not reach completion anytime soon. Under normal circumstances, the process would require countless years to finish. However, thanks to the effects of the Casimir Seal he had activated within that dimension, those countless years would be compressed into a far more reasonable span of time.
With that complete, Dan shifted his attention back to the task before him. His vast inner world still required a few final touches before it would be truly complete.
