Claudia POV
Anok did the ordering, reserving the best seat for us and others. All I had to do was sit still and enjoy while they came with our order.
But I wasn't enjoying it, because I kept getting anxious about Ray's reaction.
There hadn't been any phone call so far, nor did he call Anok.
I'd like to think that he was still busy with work and that he had no time to check on random surveillance. If that was the case, then we could've finished our lunch and hastily returned to the penthouse, acting like nothing was wrong.
But Anok returned with a bright smile and asked, "Girl, you look so stressed. Is it because of that good-for-nothing scoundrel again?"
I curled my lips out of amusement when Anok called him a 'good-for-nothing scoundrel', but still nodded in the end.
"I'm scared of his reaction."
