There was a long silence in the air after Clarissa said all that. She kept standing in the middle of the courtroom with her hand extended, fully expecting Ray to get up, kneel in front of her like a knight before a princess, and put a ring on her finger.
At first, I thought it was just a plan that Clarissa made so she'd be declared insane and sent to a mental hospital instead.
But after Judge Fairfield said that the verdict couldn't be overturned, she should've given up on her act, right?
"Bailiffs!" Judge Fairfield yelled, and the bailiffs moved quickly and restrained Clarissa by both arms.
"Aw! Aww! Hey, what's wrong with you two? The act is done by now! Ray will punish you two for hurting me like this!" Clarissa yelled. "Ray, tell them or the director to stop filming! It's done for, right? Or do you want me to be in fake jail again? Oh, come on now! That is ridiculous!"
