(A tiny apartment. Barely a room. A thin futon. A small desk. A single lamp.)
Young Kenta: (sitting at desk) "If I finish these problems, I can sleep for four hours."
(He works. The clock ticks. 11 PM. 12 AM. 1 AM.)
Young Kenta: (rubbing his eyes) "Just one more chapter."
(No one tells him to stop. No one brings him tea. No one kisses his cheek and says "sleep.")

(Young Kenta finally stops. Lies on his futon. Stares at the ceiling.)
Young Kenta: (thinking) "I wonder what it's like. To have someone. To not be alone."
(He closes his eyes. No one holds him. No one is there.)

(Young Kenta wakes up. No breakfast. No "good morning." Just silence.)
Young Kenta: (dressing) "School in one hour. Need to leave in 30 minutes."
(He packs his bag. No one checks if he has lunch money. No one asks about his day.)
(He leaves. The door clicks shut. Empty room. Empty life.)

(Young Kenta sits alone. Eating a cheap convenience store bun. Students laugh around him.)
Student A: "Hey, it's the weird kid. The one who's always studying."
Student B: "He never talks to anyone."
Student C: "Maybe he thinks he's better than us."
(Young Kenta hears them. Keeps eating. Keeps staring at his book.)
Young Kenta: (thinking) "If I'm better, why am I so alone?"

(Young Kenta walks home. Past parks with children playing. Past couples holding hands. Past families laughing.)
Young Kenta: (thinking) "Everyone has someone. Everyone but me."
(He passes the sandbox. Where he used to play with them. With Sui. With Yui.)
Young Kenta: (stopping) (staring) (remembering)
(Flashback within flashback.)

[Flashback: 6 Years Ago - Age 7]
(Three children in the sandbox. Laughing. Building castles.)
Young Sui: "Kenta-kun! Put the tower here!"
Young Yui: "No, here! It needs to be taller!"
Young Kenta: (calculating) "The structural integrity is better if we put it here."
Young Sui: (laughing) "He's so weird!"
Young Yui: (also laughing) "Our weird Kenta-kun!"
(Young Kenta's ears turn red. But he's smiling.)
Young Sui: "Kenta-kun, let's be friends forever!"
Young Yui: "Yeah! Forever and ever!"
Young Kenta: (quietly) "Okay."
Young Sui: "Promise?!"
Young Kenta: "Promise."
(They hug him. He freezes. But doesn't pull away.)

Young Kenta: (alone at the park, years later) "They promised. But they left. Everyone leaves."
(He walks away. Shoulders hunched. Heart heavy.)

[Flashback: 2 Years Ago - Kenta Age 14]
(His mother visits. Rare. She looks tired. Worn.)
Mother: "Kenta, I'm sorry I can't visit more. Work is... hard."
Young Kenta: "It's okay, Mom."
Mother: (tearing up) "It's not okay. You're alone. All the time. I should be here."
Young Kenta: "I'm fine."
Mother: (hugging him) "My brave boy. My strong boy."
(He hugs back. But he's learned not to need it. Need leads to pain.)
Young Kenta: (thinking) "If I don't need anyone, I can't be hurt when they leave."

[Flashback: 1 Year Ago - Kenta Age 15]
(He gets the scholarship. Moves to the city. Tiny hostel room.)
Young Kenta: (looking around) "This is mine. Alone. But mine."
(He unpacks. Father's astrolabe. A few clothes. Textbooks.)
Young Kenta: (placing the astrolabe on the desk) "Father... I'm going to be someone. I'm going to matter."
(He looks at his reflection in the small mirror.)
Young Kenta: "Even if no one sees it. Even if no one cares. I'll matter."

[Scene: Present - Kenta's Expanded Room]
(Kenta opens his eyes. Tears. Just a few. He wipes them quickly.)
Kenta: (whispering) "That was me. Three years ago. One year ago. Alone."
(He looks at the bed. Sui and Yui are asleep. Tangled together. Peaceful.)
Kenta: (thinking) "Now I have them. Every day. Every night. Every moment."
(He walks to the bed. Kneels beside it. Watches them sleep.)
Kenta: (whispering) "You don't know what you've given me. You don't know what you saved me from."
(Sui stirs. Opens her eyes slightly.)
Sui: (sleepily) "Kenta-kun? What's wrong?"
Kenta: "Nothing. Go back to sleep."
Sui: (reaching for him) "Come here."
(She pulls him onto the bed. Yui wakes too.)
Yui: (mumbling) "Kenta-kun?"
Kenta: "I'm here. Go back to sleep."
Yui: (snuggling) "Stay..."
Kenta: (lying between them) "I'll stay."
(They wrap around him. Arms. Legs. Warmth.)
Sui: (drowsy) "Love you..."
Yui: (drowsy) "Always..."
Kenta: (holding them) "I love you both. More than you know."

[Scene: Morning - Breakfast]
(Sui and Yui notice Kenta is quieter than usual. More thoughtful.)
Sui: "Kenta-kun? You okay?"
Kenta: "Yes."
Yui: "You seem... different today."
Kenta: (pause) "I was thinking about the past. Before you."
Sui: (softening) "Before us?"
Kenta: (nodding) "I was alone. For so long. I forgot what it felt like to have someone."
Yui: (grabbing his hand) "Kenta-kun..."
Kenta: "Last night, I remembered. The empty room. The silent meals. The park where we used to play. Empty."
Sui: (tearing up) "We're here now."
Yui: (also tearing up) "We're never leaving."
Kenta: (looking at them) "I know. That's what makes it hard to believe."
Sui: (kissing his cheek) "Believe it."
Yui: (kissing his other cheek) "We're yours. Forever."
Kenta: (touching his cheeks) "Two more."
Sui: (smiling through tears) "Count them all."
Yui: (also smiling) "You'll never run out."

[Scene: Kenta's Desk - Daytime]
(Kenta stands before his desk. Ten treasures. Photos. Trophies. Astrolabe.)
Sui: (behind him) "Kenta-kun, what are you thinking?"
Kenta: "How different my life is. From one year ago."
Yui: (joining) "Different how?"
Kenta: "Last year, this desk had one thing. Father's astrolabe. Now it has ten."
Sui: (reading) "Olympiad gold. Chess trophies. Professor's medal. Photos of us."
Yui: "And your mom's photo."
Kenta: "I used to think success was about winning. About proving myself. About mattering."
Sui: "And now?"
Kenta: (turning to them) "Now I know. Success is this. Waking up next to you. Hearing your voices. Having people who care if I eat, if I sleep, if I'm happy."
Yui: (crying) "Kenta-kun..."
Sui: (also crying) "You're going to make us cry every day!"
Kenta: (holding them) "Good. You should know. You saved me."
Sui: (muffled) "We didn't save you. You saved yourself. We just... watched."
Kenta: "You watched. You stayed. You loved. That's everything."

[Scene: Afternoon - A Walk]
(They walk through the neighborhood. Past the park. The sandbox.)
Sui: (stopping) "Kenta-kun... this is the park."
Yui: (also stopping) "Where we used to play."
Kenta: (looking at it) "I came here. After you left. Many times."
Sui: (quietly) "Alone?"
Kenta: "Alone. Hoping you'd come back. Knowing you wouldn't."
Yui: (grabbing his hand) "But we DID come back."
Kenta: "You did."
Sui: (grabbing his other hand) "And we're never leaving again."
Kenta: (looking at the sandbox) "I used to build castles here. With you. After you left, I built them alone. They always collapsed."
Yui: (softly) "Why?"
Kenta: "Because castles need more than one person. They need hands. Laughter. Love."
Sui: (tearing up) "Kenta-kun..."
Kenta: "I stopped building castles. I built walls instead."
Yui: "But we broke through them."
Kenta: (almost smiling) "You crashed through them. Literally."
Sui: (laughing through tears) "I did crash into you!"
Yui: (also laughing) "And I had the changing incident!"
Kenta: (smiling) "You broke every wall I had."
(They hug. Three together. In front of the sandbox where it all began.)

[Scene: Evening - Kenta's Room]
(They're back home. Sitting together on the bed.)
Sui: "Kenta-kun... can we ask you something?"
Kenta: "What?"
Yui: "Are you happy? Like, really happy? Not just 'I solved a problem' happy. But deep happy?"
Kenta: (long pause) "When I was a child, I thought happiness was winning. Being the best. Proving myself."
Sui: (listening)
Kenta: "Then I met you again. And I realized... happiness isn't trophies. It's this."
(He holds their hands.)
Kenta: "It's waking up and seeing your faces. It's hearing your voices. It's knowing someone is waiting for me. Someone cares if I come home."
Yui: (crying) "Kenta-kun..."
Kenta: "I have ten treasures on my desk. But you two are the only ones that matter."
Sui: (sobbing) "THAT'S THE SWEETEST THING YOU'VE EVER SAID!"
Yui: (also sobbing) "I'M WRITING THIS DOWN!"
Kenta: (holding them) "I love you. Both. Forever."
Sui & Yui: (in unison, through tears) "We love you too!"

[Scene: Night - Three Together]
(They lie in bed. Kenta in the middle. Sui and Yui on either side.)
Sui: "Kenta-kun... thank you for telling us about your past."
Yui: "We're honored that you trust us."
Kenta: "You're the only ones I trust."
Sui: (kissing his cheek) "For trusting us."
Yui: (kissing his other cheek) "For letting us in."
Kenta: (touching his cheeks) "Two more."
Sui: (grinning) "We're going to fill that whole side of the bed with kisses!"
Yui: (laughing) "Kiss mountain!"
Kenta: (almost laughing) "I wouldn't mind."
(They settle. Quiet. Peaceful.)
Sui: (drowsy) "Kenta-kun... from now on, you never have to be alone again."
Yui: (drowsy) "We're always here."
Kenta: (closing his eyes) "I know."
(He holds them. Tight.)
Kenta: (thinking, last thought) "Father... you asked me once what I wanted to be when I grew up. I said 'someone who matters.' But now I know. I don't need to matter to the world. I just need to matter to them."
(He smiles. Sleep comes. Peaceful.)

[Scene: Kenta's Desk - Night]
(Eleven items now.)

· District chess trophy
· National chess trophy
· World championship trophy
· Photo of Sui and Yui

· A small note from Sui and Yui: "You matter to us. Forever."
Kenta: (looking at them) "Eleven."
(He adds one more. A small rock from the sandbox.)
Kenta: "Twelve. From where it all began."
(He joins them in bed. Three together.)
Sui: (mumbling) "Kenta-kun..."
Yui: (mumbling) "Love you..."
Kenta: (holding them) "Love you both. More than anything."
(He falls asleep. Happy. Complete. Loved.)
