(Three days after finding the scratched-out photo. Kenta hasn't slept much. The name "Tachibana" echoes in his mind.)
Sui: (placing tea beside him) "Kenta-kun, you need rest."
Kenta: (staring at the photo) "I can't. Not yet."
Yui: (joining) "You found a lead. That's progress."
Kenta: "It's not enough. Tachibana is a common name. And A could be anything."
Sui: "Then we keep looking."
Kenta: (thinking) "There's one place I haven't checked."
Yui: "Where?"
Kenta: "My father's things. Mom gave me a box years ago. I never opened it."
Sui: (surprised) "You never opened it?!"
Kenta: (quietly) "It was too painful. After he died, I couldn't."
Yui: (softening) "Kenta-kun..."
Kenta: "But now... I need to."

[Scene: The Closet - Finding the Box]
(They pull out an old wooden box. Dusty. Locked.)
Sui: "It's locked."
Kenta: (reaching into his pocket) "I have the key. Mom gave it to me when I turned 13."
(He inserts the key. Turns. Click.)
(The box opens. Inside: journals. Photographs. A smaller box.)
Yui: (gently) "Your father's things..."
Kenta: (touching them) "I never had the courage to look."
Sui: (holding his hand) "We're here with you."
Yui: (holding his other hand) "Together."
Kenta: (nodding) "Together."

[Scene: The Journals - First Entry]
(Kenta opens the first journal. Dated 20 years ago.)
Father's Handwriting: "Today I discovered something strange. When I look at people, I can sense their thoughts. Not hear them, but feel them. Like their emotions become words in my mind. Is this normal? Does everyone have this?"
Kenta: (freezing) "He had it too."
Sui: (reading over his shoulder) "The ability?!"
Kenta: (nodding) "He could read people. Like me."
Yui: "It runs in the family?"
Kenta: "It must."
(He flips pages. Reading faster.)

[Scene: Later Entries - The Search]
Father's Handwriting: "I've started writing down the thoughts I sense. Some are beautiful. Some are dark. But there's one that keeps appearing. A girl. Young. Sad. Lonely. Her thoughts are always the same: 'Will anyone ever see me?' I want to help her. But I don't know who she is."
Kenta: (voice shaking) "He sensed her too."
Sui: "The mystery girl?!"
Kenta: (pointing) "Here. He writes about her."
Father's Handwriting: "I saw her today. At the park. She was playing alone. I approached her. Asked her name. She smiled but didn't answer. Then she ran away. I need to find her again. There's something about her... something important."
Yui: "Your father was looking for her too?!"
Kenta: "It seems so."

[Scene: The Photograph]
(He reaches the bottom of the box. A smaller envelope. Photos.)
Kenta: (opening it) "These are from the park."
(Photos of children playing. Sui. Yui. Himself. And... her.)
Sui: (gasping) "That's her!"
Yui: (pointing) "Same girl! Same hair!"
(Kenta stares. His father took photos of her. Multiple. Watching from a distance.)
Kenta: (reading a note attached) "I've been watching her for weeks. Her thoughts are so sad. So lonely. She told me once that people don't see her. That she feels invisible. I promised to help her. But I don't know how."
Sui: (quietly) "Your father wanted to protect her."
Kenta: (eyes wet) "He did. Just like he protected me."

[Scene: The Final Entry]
(The last journal. Dated just before his father's death.)
Father's Handwriting: "I found her family. They're in danger. Running from something. Someone. I offered to help, but they refused. They said it was too dangerous. They're leaving tonight. I gave them money. I gave them my word that I'd never forget her.
Her name is—"
(The entry cuts off. The next page is blank.)
Kenta: (frustrated) "No! The name! It's missing!"
Yui: (looking) "The page is torn."
Sui: (checking the box) "There's nothing else."
Kenta: (searching frantically) "There has to be more!"
(He empties the box. Nothing. Just the torn page.)
Kenta: (slumping) "He never finished. He died before he could write it."
Sui: (holding him) "Kenta-kun..."
Yui: (also holding) "We're so close. We know she existed. We know your father tried to help."
Kenta: (quietly) "He died protecting people. Maybe he died protecting her."
Sui: (tearing up) "That's... that's beautiful."
Kenta: "It's unfinished. Like my search."
Yui: "But now we know. She was real. Your father knew her. He tried to save her."
Kenta: (looking at the torn page) "Her name was almost here. So close."

[Scene: Night - Kenta Alone at Desk]
(Eighteen items now. He adds his father's journals. The photos. The torn page.)
Kenta: (looking at them) "Eighteen."
(He picks up the torn page. Studies it.)
Kenta: (whispering) "Father... you were looking for her too. You tried to save her. I'll finish what you started."
(He places it carefully with the others.)
Kenta: (thinking) "Tachibana. A. That's all I have. But it's more than yesterday."
(He joins them in bed.)
Sui: (drowsy) "Kenta-kun... we'll find her..."
Yui: (drowsy) "For your father..."
Kenta: (holding them) "For him. For her. For us."

[Scene: The Next Morning - A New Determination]
(Kenta wakes early. Sits at his desk. Opens his laptop.)
Sui: (stumbling in) "Kenta-kun? It's 6 AM..."
Kenta: "I'm searching. Tachibana families in our old neighborhood. Anyone who moved suddenly 10 years ago."
Yui: (joining) "That's... a lot of research."
Kenta: "I have a spreadsheet."
Sui: (laughing) "Of course you do!"
Yui: (kissing his cheek) "For your father."
Sui: (kissing his other cheek) "For the girl."
Kenta: (touching his cheeks) "Two more. Twenty total now."
Sui: (grinning) "Research kisses!"
Yui: (laughing) "Investigation continues!"
Kenta: (almost smiling) "I love you both."
Sui & Yui: (in unison) "Love you too!"

[Scene: Kenta's Desk - Updated]
(Nineteen items now. Father's journals. The photos. The torn page. The scratched-out photo.)
Kenta: (looking at them) "Nineteen."
(He picks up his father's astrolabe.)
Kenta: (whispering) "Father... I'll find her. I promise. And when I do, I'll tell her about you. About how you tried to save her."
(The astrolabe gleams. Like an answer.)
(He joins them in bed. Three together.)
Sui: (mumbling) "Kenta-kun... her name..."
Yui: (mumbling) "We'll find it..."
Kenta: (holding them) "Together."
(He closes his eyes. Determined. Hopeful.)
Kenta: (thinking, last thought) "Whoever you are... wherever you are... I'm closer now. Wait for me."
