If something goes wrong, me and Emillie are here to interfere. Okay?" Said Alex after drinking a glass of water like the water inside was actually booze.
"No problem, master! I'm ready." Said Jeff. But Jeff was becoming more and more anxious as his attention was drifting more and more towards the calm and silent face of Harley, showing no expression.
Then entered Jeff and Harley. They both went to the opposite sides of the central field meant for training purposes outside the small room where the were at the start.
But something was there between the two that made everyone, including Jack, who took no interest even in watching fights, let alone championships and tournaments which happen once in 3 and 5 years, respectively.
Emillie went inside the house as her phone rang.
Then Alex announced,"Take your stances, take deep breaths and make your minds focused for the fight and not for distractions." Those were the words Alex would say to motivate both sides of the match.
Then Alex told them to start.
As soon as he said so, Harley was already above Jeff, with his wooden swords going towards Jeff's right shoulder to shake of the sword from his hands as the shoulders were the vital point to have the control over the whole arm.
Jeff's pupils shrank, he didn't even had the time to process what had just happened. But he didn't lowered his guard down!
Instead what he did is that he evaded the downward strike by few centimetres then tried to strike Harley on his waist. But Harley just blocked the strike and pushed him away.
Jeff was clearly overwhelmed by such tremendous pressure and force he was giving. He thought them he might be using Aura power , then he unleashed his aura, red in colour but suddenly, a loud voice came:
Using Aura power is Strictly Prohibited, you have to use your abilities and strength to fight.
This statement made Jeff shocked. Such strength, not even using a regular swords. He then understood, Harley must be training hard to accomplish such strength.
But in the meantime if his thought, his focus was clearly on Harley, who was constantly striking him from every usual, unusual and critical angles while Jeff was blocking all of the incoming attacks.
But suddenly, Harley stopped. He raised his wooden sword in front of his chest, the tip of sword clearly dividing his face in two halves if seen from front.
He then took a deep breath, exhaled slower than he inhaled. Suddenly, he rushed towards Jeff, his sword thrusting towards Jeff's face. An azure blinding light erupted from the sword, and went towards Jeff.
Suddenly, Jeff could hear what Harley was saying:
Serpent's Plunge!!
Jeff had no time to react because the light was obstructing his clear vision. So he had to react based on his instincts and attack a devastating blow.
He then retracted his Sabre sword towards his extreme right side of his right hand with only his right hand holding it and his left palm pointing towards the incoming thrust and with a simple smile.
He then murmured,"It's my first time using this move, god please help me."
Suddenly his sword got engulfed by black and red coloured lightning arcs and he then swiped his right hand as the arc created by the swipe moved towards Harley, saying:
Wolf God's Claw!!
The arc clashed with the sword of Harley, and a deafening loud noise covered the whole place. Then Alex announced,"Harley has defeated Jeff! So the points are 0-1. Good job Harley!"
