After finishing his food and drink, Marcus went to his room and, without wasting any time, he took off his clothes and lay down on the bed to sleep.
Nothing beats a good night's sleep on a bed.
In the morning time, he woke up and then cleaned his face and made a breakfast in the inn and then, taking his belongings, left the room to go to find an alchemy.
Now that he had a deal with Leonifold, he must be locating an alchemist table to work.
After some time, he found a small alchemist shop that was owned by a trader that dealt in alchemy ingredients and potions.
The man's name was Elix; after Marcus said that he would be okay to pay him one septim per one day of use, he was more than happy to let him use the Alchemist Table.
"Now."
"I have a lot of time in my hand."
"I have two objectives."
"First is to finish the potions and deliver them to the trading caravan that will arrive."
"Second is building the relationship with Falion to get to know more about the magic and buy spellbooks from him."
Marcus believed that there must be many spells that do not exist in the game but should exist here.
At the very least, the spells in Oblivion, Morrowind, and all other Elder Scrolls games and lore should be here.
Marcus took a look at the deal he made with Leonifold to calculate the needed ingredients.
"Health Potion – 15 Septims For – 30 Potions."
"Fortify Health – 60 Septims For – 30 Potions"
"Regen Stamina"—15 Septims For—30 Potions
"Fortify Stamina" – 60 Septims For – 30 Potions"
"Cure Diseases." - 90 Septims For – 30 Potions"
He nodded and then started talking with the man named Elix.
"Do you have these ingredients?"
Elix looked at the paper and nodded.
"Are you preparing mid-size order, from what I see."
Marcus stopped for a moment and asked.
"Can you tell me more about sizes of orders in business? I am not used to know these things."
Elix nodded. This man was paying him one septim per day for the use of the alchemist table; he can do that much.
Elix then spoke.
"The businesses and trading organs in Skyrim have about five classes."
"These are calculated according to how many septims they earn per one moon."
Elix then touched his chin and then took a quill and a paper and started writing.
"It would be better and faster this way," he said as he wrote.
Marcus waited for some time, and two minutes later, he finished.
"Small" – "Businesses and individuals who are able to make 10 to 50 septims per month."
"Mid": Businesses and individuals who are able to make 100 to 500 septims per month.
"High" "Businesses and individuals who are able to make 1000 to 5000 septims per month."
"Branchleader" "Businesses and individuals who are able to make 10,000 to 50,000 septims per month."
"Company." "Businesses and individuals who are able to make 100,000 to 50,000 septims per month."
As Marcus looked at the paper, Elix said.
"I said you have mid-level orders because of how much the market values the ingredients you wanted, what kind of potions you want to make, and how much they would sell."
"If you spend one month to make use of all these potions, you would be earning between 100 and 500 Septims, which makes you a mid-level individual and business."
"When you buy a home, you will be needing to pay the taxes. That is, Jarl, do not forget that."
"Also, there is a even lower-level than Small."
"Those are 'beggar,' 'laborer,' and 'citizen.' A citizen that makes 10 to 50 septims per month is not the same as a small-level individual, as they do not make it using a business..."
"If they making septims using their land, trading and other means, they would count as a Small-level."
Marcus listened to everything and said it.
"You know a great deal about these things."
Marcus did not expect Elix to know many things about how businesses and trading and status systems of people moved in this lore and reality part.
He also understood that, despite being almost the same as Skyrim and Elder Scrolls, the world has its differences and complex systems that were not in the game.
If Elix were an imperial, he would think that he would know many things about the art of speech, trading, and these status symbols.
But he was a dark elf.
Elix smiled.
"I was a trader working under Redoran House back then."
"After some events that I would not like to share, I happen to find myself in Windhelm..."
"But the Nords there were insufferable for me."
"I took everything and came to here, Morthal."
"It was a great idea, and being close to the solitude makes things easier for me..."
Marcus nodded and then said.
"Okay, how much for all these ingredients?"
Elix took a deep breath, made some calculations, and then said.
"I do not have Vampire Dust at all."
"So, I can give mud crab chitin instead; would it work?"
Marcus nodded.
Elix then made some calculations and then said.
"Forty septims for all."
"It is a fair price; giant toes are really hard to find and get."
"Even with many hunting teams, they are hard to kill."
Marcus thought and then nodded.
To tell the truth, he was pretty shocked that prices were better than he thought they would be; he expected a lot for Giant Toe or other types of ingredients.
"I suppose, if you don't know what to do with it, it is only valuable to the alchemist."
"What great gold would do for a man that needs water to keep on living."
"They can not use the ingredients, so it is not hard to buy it."
With these thoughts, Marcus paid forty septims.
He paid double what he wanted to pay, but still, he would still be making a profit of 195, including the five septims that he would need to pay to Elix to keep using the table.
