As the essentially a cutscene of Kiba inheriting the wills of his comrades and reaching balance breaker allowing him to create holy demonic swords came to an end with everyone standing around doing nothing, Blaze having even put on some 3d glasses and eating some popcorn that she had stored in a dimensional space for situations just like this
"A combination of holy and demonic! that's impossible!" Valper cried out in shock
"Is the Excalibur finished" Kokabiel asked him
"Ah, yes Kokabiel-sama" Valper answered subconciously "holy and demonic... opposite powers... a shift in power, no a lack of power.... COULD IT BE!" he said having thought deeply before coming to a realization
"Then I have no further use for you" Kokabiel smiled viciously before impaling Valper with a spear of light
"Is that a spear of light in Valper or do you think he's that happy to have fused Excalibur" Herm joked
"WOW boss, that was so brutal, I LOVE IT" exclaimed Freed "don't worry old man Valper, I'll take this Excalibur of yours and use it to massacre all of the devils here" he smiled as he grabbed Excaliburs handle
"Freed, fight me, I will show you that even Excalibur is no match for me and my comrades feelings" declared Kiba, pointing his new blade at Freed
"Did Rias make Kiba a bit of a chuunibyou, because a declaration like that kind of makes him seem like one" Blaze thought as she peeked at Rias out of the corner of her eye
"Well said Kiba" praised Rias "overcome Excalibur as one befitting of being my knight should, in the meantime we shall deal with Kokabiel"
"Do you truely feel you stand a chance against me" Kokabiel taunted as he stepped off of his throne, summoning a giant spear of light to destroy it behind him
Everyone, even Blaze took a serious fighting pose, something that confused Herm
"Why are you taking this so seriously" she asked Blaze
"Because I don't actually know how powerful Kokabiel is" she answered
"What do you mean? you've watched the anime and read the light novels, how can you not know how strong he is?" Herm questioned
""Well in a short while he is essentially going to be one shot by Vali, who is then defeated by Issei in the story while he is using what could be seen as an incomplete balance breaker and still isn't that strong even though Kokabiel is supposed to be stronger than Azazel since he is one of the more battle focused fallen angels like Barakiel, yet Barakiel is able to put up a fight against Issei later in the story using Cardinal Crimson Promotion, so I really can't tell if Kokabiel is supposed to be strong or not considering he is top brass of the fallen angels side and would be fighting against the Maou's and people like that" Blaze explained
"So you don't know if he is strong or weak so don't want to let your guard down in case he actually is strong" Herm remarked
"pretty much" Blaze replied "time to find out which he is" she said as she powered herself up with her elemental enhancements technique
"Knight, I will be assisting you" Xenovia informed Kiba as the rest of the group got ready to battle against Kokabiel, creating the entrance to a dimensional space next to her, summoning Durrandal from it and using it alongside her Excalibur destruction to combat against Freed
"Lets finish this" Kiba called out, dashing at Freed and slashing his holy demonic sword with a speed greater than he ever had before, his balance breaker seeming to have enhanced his body to be able to move at higher speeds and slash his sword harder than ever before, Excalibur already starting to chip from the strikes
"WHAT, MY EXCALIBUR-CHAN" Freed cried out as he blocked Kiba's fierce assult
"Chips are the least of your worries" claimed Xenovia as she swung down both her swords at Freed, forcing him to Block with the Excalibur causing it to shatter into pieces
"SHIT" roared Freed as he threw out more light bombs to blind Kiba and Xenovia as he ran away with his non-existent tail between his legs, leaving the fragments of Excalibur behind
"I need to get me some of those light balls, with my speed I could be like a ninja using them" Blaze thought as she dodged Kokabiel's spears of light that he was launching at all of the members of the occult research group who were assulting him
"And you accused Kiba of being a chuunibyou" chuckled Herm
".... so the fact that all of us are able to dodge Kokabiels attacks makes me think he's not actually that strong" Blaze noted, obviously trying to change the subject
"KONEKO LOOK OUT" Rias called out as Koneko landed a hit on Kokabiel causing him to real slightly only further cementing Blaze's theory and the fact that she survived his bladed wings without life threatening injuries added to that thought
"Well shit, no Asia means that's not good, anything you think we can do to help Koneko" Blaze asked Herm as she picked Koneko off the ground to keep her from being hit by Kokabiel's spears of light
"I have something but it will essentially wipe you out and make it so that you won't be able to finish this fight" Herm responded
"Well I feel like the fight should be ending soon as Kiba and Xenovia are joining in and Akeno is about to lose it when Kokabiel mentions her dad so I imagine Vali will be showing up to finish things up soon anyway" Blaze noted as Kiba and Xenovia attacked Kokabiel now that their original target had left "so what's the plan" Blaze asked
"We're going to tap into a bit of your balance breaker" Herm answered, stunning Blaze with her words.
