Chapter 34 - We're Coming Greece

After the break ended, the three of them sat together, chatting casually.

"So, here's the thing," Doruk began. "Savash called me recently. He wants all of us to come to his island. Just a few days of partying, relaxing, and having fun together."

Nayza immediately shook her head, "Umm... how exactly? I can't go."

Leera looked at her, "I don't have any problem going. But if Nayza isn't coming, then I'm not going either."

"Leera..." Doruk sighed before softening his tone. "I get why you can't come, Nayza. But Savash has been waiting for us forever."

But I can't go," Nayza said.

"Why not?" he asked.

She hesitated for a moment before answering, "The last time I met Savash, we didn't exactly get along. So how am I supposed to go?"

Leera immediately spoke up, "Oh, come on. That was ages ago."

"Exactly," Doruk agreed. "Things are different now. And Savash was the one who invited you."

She made another reason, "But I can't take time off work," Nayza replied.

"Nayza," Doruk said patiently, "I've told you before. You don't need to work. I can cover your expenses, and I don't expect anything in return."

Leera nodded immediately, "Honestly, you should just come stay at my house. We'd live together like sisters. Why won't you let us help you? We're your family now."

A small smile appeared on Nayza's face. "You are my family," she admitted softly. "But I can't do that. I just... can't. I'm really okay the way I am. Trust me."

Doruk exchanged a glance with Leera before looking back at her, "So that's a no?"

Nayza looked at both of them. The excitement on their faces had disappeared, replaced by obvious disappointment. For a moment, she stayed quiet. Then she let out a small sigh, "Alright... fine. I'll come."

For a second, neither of them reacted.

Then Leera gasped, "Seriously?!"

Nayza laughed. "Yeah, seriously."

The disappointment instantly vanished from their faces.

"See? I knew you'd say yes!" Doruk said with a grin.

Leera immediately threw her arms around Nayza, "This is going to be so much fun!"

Seeing both of them so happy somehow made Nayza smile too. Maybe... this trip wouldn't be so bad after all.

Doruk called Savash and put the call on speaker.

"So, Nayza and Leera finally agreed to come," he said.

"That's good to hear," Savash replied immediately.

"The call's on speaker. Talk to them."

"Hello, Savash," Leera and Nayza greeted him.

Savash greeted them back warmly.

"Glad you two changed your minds. Otherwise, I'd have died of boredom here."

Nayza didn't say much, but Leera replied right away.

"Yeah, and it would've been fun watching someone as troublesome as you suffer from boredom."

Everyone laughed at that, "Alright then, guys," Savash said. "Get ready to come to Greece."

"Yeah, let's go!" Except Nayza three of them replied excitedly.

Then Savash suddenly asked, "By the way, Erhaan's back too, right?"

The moment his name came up, Doruk stayed silent.

Leera answered instead, "Ah...Yeah, he's back. Have you talked to him yet?"

"Not yet," Savash replied. "I'll call him today. I don't know whether he'll come or not."

"It's been so long since all of us were together," Leera said. "He has to come."

While listening to the conversation, Nayza glanced at Doruk.

The moment Erhaan's name had been mentioned, he had gone noticeably quiet.

And just like that, the night came to an end.

The next morning...

The sound of running water echoed from the shower when a phone suddenly began ringing.

A few moments later, Erhaan walked out with a towel draped over his shoulders and answered the call.

The moment he picked up, an annoyed voice greeted him.

"Seriously? You went back to Morocco and didn't even tell me?"

"I forgot," Erhaan replied casually.

"Do me a favor and forget me too while you're at it."

Erhaan laughed.

"Alright, tell me why you called."

"You're coming to Greece."

"Me?"

"Yes, you."

Erhaan frowned slightly.

"Why? What's so special over there?"

"Everyone's coming to my island," Savash replied. "We're going to spend some time together, have fun, relax. That's why you're coming too."

Erhaan sighed.

"I'd like to come, but you know Doruk and I don't get along."

"So what?" Savash said immediately. "Then don't talk to each other. But at least all of us can still spend time together, right?"

Before Erhaan could answer, Savash continued,

"And you know about Yesir and Leera's wedding plans, don't you?"

"Yeah."

"After this trip, Yesir's going to Leera's house with his parents. Then their wedding date will be finalized. A few months later, they'll get married."

His tone softened slightly, "Everyone's going to get busy after that, man. So just come."

Erhaan stayed quiet for a moment, thinking, "You do have a point," he admitted. "Even my uncle keeps bothering me about it. He says I should stop acting like a grump and spend time with my friends."

Savash immediately burst out laughing, "See? Your uncle understands you better than you understand yourself."
