The hallway buzzed with noise after class .lockers slammed,students laughed and some were listening to music
I leaned against my locker . Flipping through my notebook
" jay wait "
I looked up to see Dave jogging towards me. He smiled at me
" did you finish the homework professor gave ?, I missed half of the explanation yesterday "
" oh yeah" I said turning my notebook towards him" here you can read it if u want"
He leaned closer to read it
I didn't notice the silence in the hallway behind us
Or the pair of eyes watching us across the corridor

I barely had time to react before I was pulled away

When he finally pulled back.our for heads almost touching. His voice dropped.more like a whisper

The words came out of his mouth before he could stop them
