Jay-jay's POV:
Aries really has some nerve. He didn't tell me that Kuya Angelo was at home. That's why he picked me up from the room. Good thing Kuya didn't ask any questions.
I was about to enter school when Aries gave me a ride again in his car. As usual, he didn't say a word.
I was looking out the window when I saw Ci-N walking. He had his hands in his pockets and was wearing a headset.
"STOP THE C----AR!" I didn't even finish what I was saying, but he already hit the brakes.
I wasn't wearing my seatbelt, so I ended up face-planting.
"What the f***?! Do you really have to scream?!" He angrily scolded me.
Good thing no car was following us.
"I'll just get off here," I said and got out of the car.
I didn't wait for his response. I immediately ran toward Ci-N.
Xhey, Ci-N!" I said, slapping his arm.
He glared at me but quickly smiled when he recognized me. He took off his headset. "Good morning!" He greeted me with a smile.
Another smile?!
I was really to tell at him and lecture him about why he didn't come to class, but my attention was immediately drawn to his face.
"Whoa.... Ci! Why is your face all bruised?" I asked him.
His lip was swollen and cut. There was a small bruise on the side of his right lip and near his left eye. There was also a scratch on his left cheek.
"What.... Hehe..... I fell off my bike," he answered while rubbing the back of his neck.
Fell of his bike?! Is he serious? It's obvious he got into a fight.
"Really now...." was all I said, and we continued walking.
He did the same.
"How's the room?" He asked me.
It's fine.... Except for the fact that they've been ignoring me for a week.
"Huh?!"
"Let me explain it to you...." I said, clearing my throat to prepare my voice. "... My middle name is Farnandez." That's all I said, waiting to see if he'd catch the hint.
But he's a bit slow.
Explain it properly, Jay.
"And?"
Looks like he's not aware that Aries is also a Fernandez. What's going on?
"Aries is my cousin!" I quickly answered.
"Ahh----" He suddenly stopped and thought about it.
I think I know what's coming next.
"What? Are you going to avoid me too? Are you going to ignore me now?"
He suddenly smiled. "Of course not. I'll just pretend I don't know about that issue."
Ci-N's smile is contagious. I found myself smiling too.
We continued walking until we reached at school. I saw Aries leaning against his car. He had his arms crossed and was glaring at me. I looked away. I can't blame him; I did get out of the car abruptly earlier.
We were almost at the building when Ci-N suddenly stopped. He was looking at a guy sitting on a tree branch.
"Who's that?" I asked.
"That's Calix.... He's our classmate, what's wrong with you?" He answered.
I couldn't see the guy's the face clearly, and I didn't know his name either. He might have been facing away from us. But I kept observing him.
Oh yeah... He's really our classmate.
"He never learns... It's like he wasn't injured last time from hanging out there," Ci-N added.
"Why? What happened?" I asked.
Sorry..... I got curious.
"He was in a hurry to get down... He ended up falling and hitting his foot on a big tree root."
"Ahh..... Why does he even hang out there?"
"I don't know..... Let's go," Ci-N urged.
We continued walking. This Calix guy seems familiar to me. I'm just not sure.
I hadn't gone far when I heard a name. It answered my question about why Calix seemed familiar.
"Mica! Wait a second!"
The letter! The love letter I found on the second floor of our building. Are they the ones? What's going on----Stop!
You already have too much on your mind about Section E. Don't drag their love life into it!
My brainworm is right! I shouldn't meddle in their lives. It's their life..... Mind your own business, if you even have one.
"Hey, Jay-jay!" Ci-N called me, snapping me back to reality.
"W-what?" I asked.
"You're spacing out... What's wrong with you?" He asked.
"N-nothing..... I just remembered something."
Ci-N just shrugged. We were almost at the room when we saw our classmates causing a commotion in front of the room.
It looked like there was a fight. Ci-N and I got closer to see better.
It was Keifer and another guy. Keifer had the guy by the collar. I could see Keifer's anger, but I couldn't see the other guy's face clearly.
"Hey, dude... What's going on?" Ci-N asked one of our classmates.
"David's back.... He wants to be class president again, but of course, Keifer won't allow it," Our classmate answered, seemingly excited about the fight.
A fight, and they're excited? Nice!
I trugged on Ci-N's answered shortly.
I couldn't see his face clearly because of our nossy classmates.
"I'm with Keifer..."
"Solid David here!"
"500 on Keifer."
"1,000 on me!"
Wow! Instead of stopping them, they're betting on them. How great!
I trugged on Ci-N's sleeve again and signaled that we should go inside the room. I had no intention of getting involved.
That's right! Stay out of it!
I sat down at my desk. Since everyone was outside, I had the room to myself.
I noticed they had put back the cardboard, sheet metal, and plywood barriers at the back. They covered the stuff again.
Tsk. So dramatic!
I felt someone enter the room, so I looked back.
Pffftt! It was just Yuri. He went straight to hsi seat at the back. A few minutes later, for some reason, the fight moved into the room.
Even our crazy classmates came inside. Punches were thrown left and right. They kept calling and getting back up. Until Keifer fell on me, and I ended up on the floor.
"Aarrgghhh.... Ouch!"
Keifer stood up and went back to the fight
Meanwhile, I stuggled to get up, and someone stepped on my hand. Jerk!
"Ouch! What the hell?!" I shouted.
I forced myself to stand up quickly because I felt like I was about to get trampled. I rubbed my hand, which had been stepped on by someone.
Some desks and chairs were knocked over. I don't know.... I felt annoyed. They're so chaotic, and it's giving me a headache.
And I got even more annoyed when I saw my bag looking like a rag. Damn it!
"STOP IT ALREADY!" I shouted, but no one listened.
What's wrong with you all?! You're so infuriating!
It was like my hand had a mind of its own when I grabbed a chair and threw it at the fighters.
Wait a second!
What did I just do?! The fighting stopped, and everyone was looking at me.
Damn it! You're in trouble now!
Keifer and David were glaring at me. Damn it! Even our classmates, who seemed disappointed by the interrupted fight, we're glaring at me too.
I heard someone laugh softly. It must have been Yuri because his shoulders were shakking, and he was trying to cover his mouth and avoid eye contact.
I couldn't help but smile and give a peace sign with my fingers.
"F***! Why is there a girl here?!" David angrily scolded.
What a mouth. He's taller than Keifer but a bit skinny. He has a scar on his jaw and is somewhat fair-skinned. He looks pretty ordinary.
"Are you the one who threw the chair?!" Keifer angrily asked.
I was about to open my mouth to answer when Ci-N beat me to it.
"Yeah, it was her....." Ci-N said with a smile.
I narrowed my eyes at him. This kid is so kind! I hope the Lord takes him soon.
Keifer immediately walked up to me and grabbed me by the collar. His eyes we're blazing with anger.
"Ouch----"
"Stop meddling!" He shouted at me.
His face was so close to mine. His breath smelled like mint. Oh! Why am I even noticing that?
I tried to remove his hand, but he tightened his grip. Even our other classmates started interfering.
Xhey, Keifer, she's a girl----"
"I don't care!" Keifer shouted.
"What's wrong with you?! Your spit is getting on my face!" I complained.
"You're really pissing me off----"
"Keifer! Let her go!" Yuri said.
"She's still a girl, man!" Felix added.
"Let me go! What's your problem?!" I said.
"I'm your opponent!" David said.
"Choke her more..... Hahaha," Ci-N joked.
"Let her go.... Go back to David," The rest of the class said.
Almost everyone was asking him to let me go. Keifer couldn't do anything because the whole class was telling him to.
Reluctantly, he let me go. He gave me a sharp look and turned back to David.
He was about to throw a punch when Yuri suddenly spoke.
"Let's just have a re-election on Monday to settle this!"
The whole ass murmured, and Keifer seemed to think for a moment. He looked at David.
"I agreed...." David said to Yuri.
"Fine.... After class," Keifer added.
Some were disappointed, some agreed, and some blamed me, saying I might cause someone's early death. I'll just skin them alive to make it fun.
