Jay-jay's POV:
**Lunchtime.**
I dragged Ci-N by the collar. I really needed to talk to this kid.
"Let me go..." Ci-N whined like a seven-year-old.
I let go of his collar but immediately wrapped my arm around his neck.
"Ouch!" He shouted.
"You're such a jerk..... You almost got me in trouble earlier."
"S-sorry... Ouch."
I let him go but gave him a hard smack first. He's such an idiot.
"That hurt," He muttered, rubbing his head.
"Really?! I wasn't aware," I replied sarcastically.
He pouted, looking embarrassed. I felt a little bad for him. Lucky for him he's cute.
"Want me to buy you something from the cafeteria?" I asked.
He perked up immediately and smiled. That usual smile.
"Sure," He said, nodding.
We walked to the cafeteria. Ci-N kept humming while walking. Tsk! Such a kid!
"Ci-N, how old are you?" I asked.
"Uhmm.... I'm 14," he answered, still smiling.
I suddenly stopped. Wait, he should only be in first year. He's really young, three years younger than me.
"How are you in fourth year?"
"What.... How..... I just took an exam in grave 4, and they put me in first year high school," he explained.
Accelerated?
"How did you end up in Section E?"
"Ahh, hahahaha..... I kissed my pretty classmate," he answered, still smiling.
This guy's a Hokage!
"That's it?!"
"Then she punched me, and everything got chaotic..... It started with me, so I ended up in Section E. Haha."
"Yaaann.... You and your ninja moves."
He just scratched his head but kept smiling. I couldn't help but smile too. It's contagious sometimes.
We continued walking. When we reached the cafeteria door, we stopped because of the notice posted on it.
**ALL Section E is Not Allowed inside!
P.S. That include you, girl!**
All of Section E?! And that includes me!! Damn it! Of all days, today's the day I didn't bring packed lunch.
"What now, Jay? Even you can't go in." Ci-N said.
What's this?! Maybe the people inside are just trying to scare us. Maybe the rule doesn't apply to me yet. I reached for the door to open it, but Ci-N stopped me.
"Don't even try. Who knows what punishment they'll give you if you break the rule."
"Tsk! Maybe the rule doesn't apply to me yet."
"It does..... From the moment you entered Section E. They just didn't stop you because you're a transferee and didn't know about Section E's issue with the cafeteria."
I narrowed my eyes at him. "How do you know that?"
He rubbed the back of his neck. "I overheard it from Section A the other day."
Confirmed! He's such a gossip.
Aren't you a gossip too, Jay?
We left the cafeteria feeling defeated. We went to the front of the big building and sat on a bench.
I took a deep breath and rested my elbows on my knees, propping my chin on my hands.
"I'm so hungry, Jay....."
"Me too, Ci.... Next time, I'll really bring packed lunch."
"Hey.... You can pack lunch for me too."
I looked at him. "What?! You're lucky.... You even have someone to pack lunch for you."
He pouted at me. "Come on.... No one takes care of me or packs my lunch."
"Why? Where are your parents?"
He looked away. "T-they're both at work..."
"Do you have siblings?"
"Yeah.... But they're busy."
It seemed like he didn't want to talk about his family. He couldn't look me I'm the eyes, and his voice got quieter as he answered.
"Fine.... I'll pack your lunch for you."
He perked up and smiled at me again. That's more like it.
"You promised....."
I nodded and smiled back at him. But the smile faded as our stomachs growled in unison.
Food! Rain down from heaven!
"What are you two doing here?" Someone spoke from behind us.
I turned to look. It was Rakki, smiling at me while brushing her long hair, but her smile faded when she saw Ci-N beside me.
"Hi, Rakki!" Ci-N greeted enthusiastically.
Hmm? Ci-N suddenly seemed livelier. What's that about? He's so energetic even though we're both starving.
"Hmpf!" Rakki scoffed at him. She walked over and sat beside me. "How are you, Jay?"
"Starving..... You? " I answered boredly.
"Why don't you----"
Ci-N cut Rakki off. "Aren't you going to ask how I am?"
Rakki glared at him. "No! It's obvious you got into a fight!"
"Ahihihi....." Ci-N giggled like a girl. What's with him? Why is he like that?
o_O! I'm so confused about Ci-N now. Rakki and I had the same reaction.
"Crazy..." Rakki muttered, then turned back to me. "... Haven't you eaten yet?"
"Not yet... I'm banned from the cafeteria like them..." I said, pointing at Ci-N, who was smiling widely at Rakki.
"Really?" She looked at the cafeteria entrance. "..... Give me your money. I'll figure something out for you." She held out her hand to us.
Even though I was confused I handed her some money. Ci-N, of course, gave his money too. What's weird is how he handed it to her----he pressed his palm firmly against hers.
"Ahihihi....." He said, giggling.
"I'll punch you," Rakki threatened, but he didn't flinch. "What do you want to buy?"
"Rice for me, and maybe minced meat for the viand. How about you, Ci-N?"
"Special order for me. Rakki, that's what it's called," he said with a mischievous smile.
Rakki glared at him. "Tsk! Can't you be serious?"
Ci-N chuckled lightly. "Just the same as Jay-jay's order."
Rakki just nodded and quickly walked to the cafeteria.
It was my chance. My chance to gossip.
"Hey, Ci-N! What was that?!"
"What was what?"
"That thing with Rakki! " I asked irritably.
"What... She's my former classmate. She's the one I... kissed, " he explained, his cheeks turning red.
You're a real Hokage!
I narrowed my eyes at him. "You have a crush on Rakki, don't you?"
He suddenly got all giddy and started fidgeting in his seat. No answer was needed----it was obvious. He's even more giggly than a girl.
"Get it together! " I scolded him. People were starting to stare at us.
"It's your fault..." he said to me.
I smacked him hard on the arm, and he almost fell off the bench.
"That hurt!" he complained, rubbing his arm. I just glared at him.
I saw Rakki coming out of the cafeteria, carrying what we ordered.
"Here you go..." She handed us the food.
I smiled at her. "Thank you..."
"Thank you, Rakki babe," Ci-N said.
Rakki's eyebrows furrowed, and before she could say anything, Ci-N pulled me away. I almost tripped from how hard he was pulling.
We stopped near the Section E building.
"You're such a jerk..." I said, catching my breath, but Ci-N, the shameless one, was still smiling and clearly happy with what he did.
We looked for a spot to eat our food. We didn't want it to get snatched by foodnatchers.
We hid behind some piled-up stuff. We just grabbed a bench and a table. As we ate, the DARN MOSQUITOES started biting us! It hurt and itched so much!
It's Ci-N's fault! He had to pick a spot full of mosquitoes.
After eating, we went back to the room, and I immediately applied alchohol to the bites.
The whole class was still avoiding eye contact with me. I looked at Felix, but he looked away too. Did Aries do something to him?
To bell rang, and a few moments later, the teacher arrieved. Class didn't last long because our next subjest was P.E., and we were given 30 minutes to prepare.
I stood up to go out and change, but I was shocked when the whole class started taking off their polo shirts.
I tried to hurry, not wanted to see anything while they changed. But it was too late----they had already taken off their shirts or undershirts.
Who's! Whoa! Wait a minute.
I'm used to seeing topless guys, but there were so many of them!
I quickly left and ran to the nearest restroom to change. Our P.E., uniform was just jogging pants and a T-shirt, but for the boys, it was shorts and a T-shirt.
When I went back to the room to put away my uniform, I stopped when I saw some of them still shirtless.
"Whoa..." I muttered.
It would have been fine if they were just topless, but some were only in their boxers. Like Keifer----his skin was so pale, even paper than mine, and he had an adonis- like body. Machete diet!
Yuri had a similar build, but what stood out about him were the scars on his body. He wasn't as fair-skinned as Keifer.
"Take it easy with the starting.." someone whispered, making me jump in surprise.
It was just Ci-N. He was already dressend and smiling at me again. I just glared at him and put my uniform in my bag.
"Let's go..." he urged. I nodded and followed him.
This was my first time going to the gymnasium. I hope this darn P.E. class goes smoothly.
