Jay-jay's POV:
Can I turn back time? I wish I hadn't left the cubicle earlier or even gone to the restroom so I wouldn't have encountered these coloring books.
This is a whole new problem. Such a headache!
"What are you waiting for, Jay? Kneel already..... " Freya said, smiling at me.
"N-no, I don't want to," I replied, and her mood immediately shifted.
"What?! What do you mean you don't want to?!" She shouted angrily, stomping her foot.
"Jay.... Just do what she said," Aries ordered.
I took a deep breath. They're so annoying. All of them surrounding me. It's like they find joy in humiliating others.
People like this deserve a taste of their own medicine. Like the saying in the US, "Taste of their own medicine." They say that when someone gets a dose of their own nonsense.
"Okay....." I said, which made Freya smile widely.
Should I add some color to her face with my fist? Would she still be smiling then?
"What are you waiting for? Kneel already!" Freya said.
So eager? Can't wait? I took another deep breath. I did that a few times.
It's true that I used to get into fights all the time. I don't know, I felt like my anger would go away if I hurt them.
But if there's one thing I've learned from fighting, it's to fight when needs to be fought and not waste time on things that aren't worth it.
In my current situation, I'd rather fight even though people like Freya aren't worth the trouble.
"I'll do what you want, but before that, shouldn't you apologize first?" I said, looking seriously at Freya.
She laughed slightly. " To who? You? Why would I?
"Not to me..... What was her name again?.... Tss. That's it! Ella."
Freya's face suddenly turned serious, as did the two Canvas girls with her.
I don't just know how to fight with punches. I also know how to fight in other ways.
Aries suddenly became interested and stepped closer to us. It's clear that Ella is his girlfriend, so I knew there was a chance he'd get involved.
"To Ella?" Aries asked, looking at Freya before turning back to me.
"Why me?" Soft voice spoke.
We all turned to look, and I saw the girl who was with Aries earlier, the one who looked Korean. She's Ella? My opinion changed; I actually want to get to know her now. She's even prettier up close.
"W-what are you taking about? W-why should I apologize to Ella? I didn't do anything to her," Freya said defensively.
"But you said earlier in the restroom. 'Ella's such a flirt, she's gone after every famous guy in the school.' I heard that you say that."
Freya froze at what I said. Her fear was obvious. Bull's eye!
Aries clenched his fists, his eyebrows furrowing he glared at Freya.
"W-what? No! Don't make up stories! We didn't say that....." She turned to Ella. "..... Believe us! That girl's just making things up! Right, girls?" Freya asked her Canvas friends.
"Y-yes..... W-we didn't say that," The two stammered.
"See..... She's just making things up!" Freya turned back to me, her eyes blazing. "... Stop making up stories! You're just trying to get out of what we're making you do!"
I raised an eyebrow at her. This girl doesn't seem to understand instructions.
"Why would I get out of this by making up stories? And if you don't understand, let me make it clear. I'm willing to kneel, kiss your shoe, and apologize to you if you apologize to Ella first for what you said about her," I explained.
In short, I'm not trying to save myself. I just want things to be fair. We both did something wrong in the restroom. And it feels unfair to me because all I did was splash water on them.
Aries stepped closer to Freya and grabbed her collar tightly.
"You called Ella a flirt?!" He asked angrily.
I saw Freya's eyes we'll up with tears. Probably out of fear of Aries. I've never seen Aries angry before, but since he's Kuya Angelo's brother, they're probably the same.
"N-no.... Believe us, Aries. We didn't say that," Freya said softly pleading.
I almost felt bad for her, but I started this. I did something wrong, but my anger got the better of me. I don't want anything bad to happen to them, but they need to learn their lesson.
"It came from you! What right do you have to judge Ella?!" Aries shouted angrily.
From the look on Aries' face, he was furious with Freya. He's also very protective of Ella.
Why does it feel kind of.... enviable?
"Aries!" Canvas-1 suddenly shouted. "Listen... Maybe Jay did hear those things in the restroom, but we weren't the ones who said it."
Everyone was now looking at Canvas-1. Huh? What is she trying to say? They were the ones in the restroom. It couldn't have come from someone outside.
"Are you messing with me----"
"Jay didn't see who said it, right? She just heard it," Canvas-1 added.
What are they trying to say? That they just entered the restroom when I came out of the cubicle? Impossible!
Freya seemed to get an idea. "That's true. She was inside the cubicle when someone said that."
Aries let go of Freya. It was clear he was even more annoyed by what the coloring books were doing.
"If it wasn't you who said it, then who?! WHO?!" Aries shouted angrily.
Even the other Sections seemed scared of him.
"It was Mica..... She's the one who said it," Canvas-1 said.
Everyone turned to the girl next to Ella. She was the one with Freya earlier, the one who looked different. She looked confused and scared.
"M-me?" She stammered.
"It's true.... She's the one who said it while we were chatting in the restroom," Freya explained.
They were really together, but it's impossible that it was her.
Two guys grabbed Mica and brought her in front of Aries. I saw Freya smile at her two Canvas friends.
"Did you say that?" Aries asked calmly.
"N-no...."
It couldn't have been her. Mica's voice was soft; I didn't even hear her voice inside.
"It was her, Aries. She was with us in the restroom..." Freya turned to me. "..... You saw her inside, right?"
"Yes... but----"
"See? It's her, not us!" Freya said sharply.
"Yes... but----"
"She should be punished!" Canvas-1 shouted.
"Wait! I didn't----"
"Yeah... punish her!" Canvas-2 added.
Damn it! Let me speak!
I was about to approach Aries to explain, but one of the guys holding Mica suddenly fell, followed by the other.
It was Calix!
He immediately hugged Mica, "No one's going to hurt her! You'll have tk go through me first!"
Mica struggled, but Calix held her tightly.
"Stay out of this!" Aries shouted at him.
Even the other Section A members looked alarmed. I glanced at Section E and saw Keifer approaching Calix. Felix, Kit and two others followed.
"You just love getting involved in trouble, don't you?!" Aries said arrogantly.
Okay.... No need to feel things out. This is going to end in a fight!
Isn't anyone going to stop them? Guard! Security! Teacher! Anyone?!
"We're Section E, right? We don't back down from a fight." Felix said.
"And we don't leave anyone behind," Kit added.
I could feel the tension between them. Add to that that fact that other Section A members were now standing beside Aries.
Damn it!
I was about to step in to stop them, but someone suddenly pulled my hair.
"Ouch! What the----"
"This is all your fault!" Freya shouted, still pulling my hair.
"Me?! You're the one----" A loud slap stopped me.
I felt my check go numb from the pain. I didn't need to ask who did it. It was obviously Freya.
Don't fight! She's not worth it!
Right! I shouldn't-----aaarrrgggghhhhh! Her face is so infuriating!
I slapped her back, causing Freya to fall to the ground.
Oops! That was too hard!
I felt everyone stop and stare at us. Freya suddenly started crying, and her cheek began to turn red.
"How dare you do that to Freya!" Canvas-2 shouted.
I thought the two Canvas girls would come at me, but to my surprise, they grabbed the bucket and threw it's contents at me.
It was too late to run or dodge. All I could do was cover my face with my arms.
I waited to get soaked, but I instead of water, a warm body hit me. Someone hugged me. When I looked to see who it was, the water from the bucket splashed on the person who hugged me.
David?
He looked at me. "We're even now," was all he said before he suddenly collapsed on me.
I tried to stop him from falling and ended up holding his back. Aside from being wet, it was stucky, and there were.... worms!!
That's what Canvas-2 put in th bucket. Yuck! Eeiihhh!
But that's not what I'm worried about. David's unconscious! He's also burning up.
What should I do? I looked at Section E for help, but they were busy watching fight. Aries and Keifer were already throwing punches.
What the----Isn't anyone going to help us?
