Chapter 25 - Chapter 25: Revenge 2.0

Jay-jay's POV:

"Weren't you supposed to be in class?!" Our teacher asked us.

Neither Ci-N nor I could answer. The bell had rung a while ago, meaning our class had already started.

Ugh... We're so busted!

"They ditched their class," Freya arrogantly said.

I shot her a nasty look. She thinks she's all that, but her face looks like it's straight out of a coloring book.

Where did we end up? In Section A. The others were already giving us dirty looks. Not to mention, the teacher's glare.

Such a pain!

I was about to speak up when I heard voices from Section E outside the room.

"They might come into the rooms."

"Look! Quick!"

"Jay.... By the window," Ci-N whispered to me.

I looked at the window near their whiteboard. It was a sliding window, wide open.

I nodded at Ci-N, signaling that I was good to go.

"Go back to your class." The teacher ordered us.

Suddenly, Ci-N ran toward the window and jumped down without hesitation. The students from Section A were so shocked that they peeked out of the window.

"What... What kind of kid is this?!" The teacher screamed.

I was about to follow Ci-N, not caring that we were on the second floor, but Kiko greeted my arm.

"You're going to jump too?! That's dangerous!" His voice was full of concern.

Aww..... How sweet.

"It's more dangerous if they catch me!" I said, shrugging off his hand.

I quickly ran and jumped out of the window as well. I should've checked how high it was first.

Too late for regrets. I landed on the grass, but my legs still hurt from the height I fell from.

"Ughhh...." I screamed while rubbing my leg.

"Deal with it later! Let's go!" Ci-N shouted, trying to pull me along.

Despite the pain, I got up and started running. We made it behind the gymnasium, and if luck was on our side, we'd meet the three animals who had been bullying me. That's why I couldn't find them earlier. This was their hangout spot.

Get ready, guys!

"Ci.... Go back to the room." I ordered.

"Huh? Why?"

I grabbed my bag from him. " I'll handle this. You leave."

"But Jay....."

"Just do what I say," I ordered firmly.

Ci-N walked away, confused. I just didn't want him to get dragged into this. This was my fight!

I walked up to the three, who were busy smoking.

"What do you thi-----" I didn't let him finish. I threw a strong punch. It hurt my knuckles and was a bit shocking, but it was worth it. His lip started bleeding.

The other two glared at me.

"You're crazy! You----" I kicked the other one in the face.

He fell down with this nose bleeding was writhing in pain.

Only one left...

He started at me for a moment. Then he grinned and flicked his cigarette away.

Just a grin! Let's see if you can keep that up.

"You have guts! Who do you think are you?!" He shouted angrily.

"I have a message! For Freya!"

He froze at the mention of Freya's name, and so did his companions still lying on the ground.

From the way they looked, they recognized me. The two tried to get up but stumbled towards their friend.

"Can you send it?"

They exchanged glances, talking through their eyes, and then one of them rushed at me.

He tried to punch me, but I dodged, then kicked him in the knee, making him fall down.

"Arrghhh... Shit!"

Next, the guy with the bleeding nose rushed. I didn't wait for him; I punched him straight in the jaw.

"Ugh!"

It hurt, but it was worth it. He seemed dazed when he hit the ground.

I turned back to face the last one---the guy who wouldn't stop bullying me.

"Just you now..."

I didn't even wait for him to answer. I charged and threw a punch, but he dodged it, so I quickly followed up with another.

Got him!

When he fell, I immediately stomped on his stomach. I didn't stop, hitting him harder than he hit me. He was practically gagging, but I kept going.

"I thought you were tough?!" I said while kicking. "Tell Freya..... She's wrong to mess with me!" I added between kickes.

I stopped for a moment because I was getting tired, and my legs and feet were sore. I took a deep breath, preparing to continue when suddenly something hit the back of my neck.

"Ughhh!"

I fell immediately. I grabbed the part of my neck that was hit, and my vision started to darken from the dizziness. It felt heavy, like if I made one wrong move, I'd pass out.

Damn it! Don't you dare close your eyes, Jay!

I tried to see who had done that. It was one of the guys, the one I kicked in the knee.

"You think we'll just let you beat us? You are a girl!" He screamed at me while holding a wooden stick.

He was about to hit me again when someone grabbed his wrist. Even though I was dizzy, I could clearly see who it was.

Keifer.

He didn't say a word, but the anger was clear in his eyes. His grip tightened, causing the guy to drop the stick.

"Argh! Let go of me!"

"Fine." Keifer replied nonchalantly.

I thought he would let go, but instead, he twisted the guy's arm, and I could hear the crack of his bones, even as the guy screamed in pain.

"Arrghhh... S-stop!"

I thought he would let go, but instead, he twisted the guy's arm, and I could hear the crack of his bones, even as the guy screamed in pain.

Keifer moved to the next guy, the one with th bloody nose still on the ground. The guy seemed to noticed and began crawling away from Keifer.

"W-wait! We were just following orders!" He begged.

But it seemed like Keifer wasn't interested in listening. He kept walking toward the guy, and when he stopped, Keifer gave him a hard kick to the knee.

"Arrrggggghhh!!!!"

I could only shut my eyes. I knew he had broken his bone from how strong that kick was.

Why? Why is Keifer like this?

I was angry at those guys, but now I felt pity for them because of what Keifer was doing.

Keifer then approached the last guy, stiil lying on the ground, glaring at him angrily.

"Get up." Keifer ordered.

"W-what-----"

"Get up!" He ordered again, more firmly.

Even though they guy didn't fully understand, he still tried to get up.

"I'll give you a chance to fight me. I don't want to do what you did to Jay. It's obvious that wasn't fair," Keifer explained.

The guy just grinned. "What do you----Aaaggghhhh!!!!"

Keifer didn't let him finish. He punched the guy in the stomach, making his eyes bulge out and his tongue slip out.

The guy was about to fall again, but Keifer didn't let him. He grabbed him by the collar and gave him repeated punchesd to the stomach.

That's enough!

I thought Keifer was giving him a chance to fight back, but he didn't even let the guy recover.

Keifer punched him in the stomach again, and the guy immediately threw up. But instead of food or water, it was blood.

He collapsed immediately.

"Are you okay, Jay?" Keifer asked, looking at the guy he had knocked down.

I was a bit surprised by his question. "Y-yeah, I'm fine."

"We need to leave now."

I tried to get up, but everything felt so heavy, and I was still dizzy.

"You go ahead..... I'll follow," I said, looking for something to lean on.

"Tss. Hurry up."

Look at this guy. Does he not see that I'm struggling? Why can't he just be a gentleman?

In the books and stories I read, the guys always help the girl, but not him.

Should I post this on FB and call him 'Ungentleman? Then add, "He's handsome, but his attitude is terrible." Nah, I'd get bashed for that.

Where exactly is Keifer from? And why is he even here?

"You walk like a turtle," He commented, walking off without me.

Oh, really? Does he not see my condition?

As soon as I couldn't see him anymore, Yuri appreared. He walked over to me.

Where did he come from? Why is he here too?

"Where are you hurt?" He asked, uninterested.

I didn't respond. I just pointed to the back of my neck. I thought he was going to do something, but instead, he suddenly came over and picked me up bridal-style.

"Hey! Put me down!" I struggled.

"We'll be stuck here if I don't carry you."

I stopped resisting and didn't say anything. I guess it was because of how weak I felt and how sore my body was from earlier.

"Can I ask a favour from you?" Yuri suddenly asked.

I just nodded and waited for what he would say.

"You take the blame for what happened in Section D."

I looked at him, confused. He wanted me to take the blame? Why?

"Why the question..... It's because Keifer can't be involved in this mess anymore."

Ah, now it makes sense.

I guess because of all the trouble Keifer had caused in the past, he couldn't afford to be involved in another one.

"O-okay. I'll take the blame."

I noticed Yuri smiled but quickly wiped it off. Why did he seem se different now? He was acting so kind, unlike the Yuri I always had conflicts with.

He was acting like Keifer 2.0, and there was times I'd get annoyed with him.

But now? He felt like a completely different person....
