Chapter 2 - CHAPTER 1

3 YEARS LATER..

EVAN SEVILLE

"Love, I can't seem to find my favorite tie—" My eyes widened when I saw her in her favorite, silky-white night gown, flowing smoothly with the wind, as I stepped outside our backyard garden.

She was a goddess.

She stood there under the sun, looking up at the sky with a smile, a smile that could take my life any moment, the smile that I always adored and loved, and she was just.. living. I admired her, not realizing I was late for my work until my alarm went off, catching both of our attention.

"Shit!" I cursed, running back inside to get my things upstairs in our room, my bag and the documents. I was about to leave our room when I ran past the body mirror, realizing I don't have my tie yet, "fuck—"

"Can you relax for a moment? I understand that you're late, but I got you.." Her soft, angelic voice beamed in our room, walking in, looking like the most beautiful woman in the world with my favorite tie in her hand. I stared at her, she smiled as she stood in front of me. I bent down to her height as she wrapped the tie around my colllar beneath and tied it perfectly.

While I just looked at her, admired her— Specifically, I am obssessed and madly in love with this woman— she then tugged my tie gently, placing a soft kiss on my lips. Of course, I couldn't hold back and wrapped my arm around her waist, pulling her close to me as I deepened the kiss, making her whimper.

We pulled away, breathing heavily, "I love you.." I murmured against her lips, making her smile, "I love you more, now shoo, go make money, while I go out and look for a job—"

"Please, don't.. I can provide anytime, you know?.." I cut off her softly, she scoffed softly, knowing how much I just want her to relax at our home, just her being my wife and here at home, where she was more safe. "I understand, Evan.. But I want to explore, you know?.." She opened up gently, cupping my face and pressed a soft kiss on my forehead, "I promise you, I'll be safe, plus I want to help. I don't care if you're a rich author going around the world for book signing events and stuff, I support that. But I also want to have my own money, my own financial freedom because I don't want to keep relying on your income.. You have some other things to buy and stuff.. Is it too much to ask?.."

I sighed, closing my eyes. I pulled away from her touch, my arm pulling her closed as her body flushed against mine. I hugged her tighly, not wanting to let go of her— I don't even care if I'm late anymore.

"It's not too much to ask, sweetheart.. I'm just worried about you.. There were news everywhere about women getting abducted or get rape, you know? And I also don't want you to come home late at night.. If you're going too look for a job, then come home before 7 in the evening, okay? Or maybe give me a call, not text, a call." I emphasized the word at the end, strictly.

She nodded, "yes, sir. Thank you so much, now get your ass to work, because you're 30 minutes late for your book signing event." She said snickering, making my eyes wide as I cursed when I looked down at my watch on my wrist. I pulled her into a hug one more time and showered her face with kisses before running out of our room, downstairs to the entrance of our home, and made my way to my car.

I got in, roared the engine, beep three times for 'I love you ', and drove away with my mind reeling with possibilities of what could happen to Amelia once she found a job. But he kept it cool, looking on the bright side and respecting her decisions.

I knew I could provide for her, I want her in our home, relaxed and do nothing at all— She could either do arts, since she talent for that, or do chorse whenever she want, even baked— I knew this day would come where she would tell me that she would want a job, and I deeply respect because I loved her too much.

"God, what am I going to do if something happened to her?.." I muttered to myself, to God, praying nothing would happen to her while she went out to go find herself a job she enjoyed and liked, that she would be home safe and sound and still in one piece, no scratch.

I reached the location of my book signing event, quickly parked my car and got out as I made my way inside. I could see my readers already patiently waiting in line for 30 minutes, when they saw me their eyes lit up up and called my name, "Evan's here!!!"

I got to my chair with a smile and immediately started to signed my book as they all went back in line for it. I loved being an author very much, and my inspiration for being an author was my wife, Amelia. She was a writer back then in our college.

She was famous for the book she wrote entitled: "Eyes", and the book was about how eyes could show emotions, how when you stared at someone, you could see the shine in them, the sparkles when they're inlove, how sometimes eyes could show how much they admired you.

Sadly, she didn't chose that career, she chose arts— God, she loves art, and she looked beautiful with— but I chose writing, I took a fancy of it ever since she taught me how to write a novel.

2 Hours had gone by, the book signing event was already done— Finally— I leaned on my chair, breathing as I sat behind the board of my book where I took breaks from signing books. I looked down at my phone, seeing her message popped up on time. I smiled as I read the message: "Love, I found a job at the coffee shop! Look, they also have cats and dogs there!"

I looked at picture, my heart fluttered when I saw the picture she sent with the message. There on the image, she was laying down with the cats and dogs, smiling so brightly.

God, she's so perfect.. I love her so much.
