Chapter 15 - The Sealed Memory

The garden of black-purple lilies in Hell was unusually quiet.

Eisteth sat calmly at the small round table, holding a porcelain teacup. Steam rose slowly from the surface of the tea.

In front of her floated the familiar system window, projecting a scene from a BL drama she had been watching.

She sighed happily.

"Ah… this episode is so romantic."

The characters on the screen were about to confess their love when suddenly—

ERROR

The screen flickered violently.

The system window glitched.

Eisteth blinked.

"Huh?"

The screen distorted.

Lines of crimson code appeared across the air.

SYSTEM ERROR — SEALED MEMORY DETECTED

Eisteth frowned.

"What… sealed memory?"

Before she could react—

A sharp pain pierced her head.

"Ah—!"

The tea cup slipped from her hand and shattered on the stone floor.

Fragments of memory burst open inside her mind.

Human World – Many Years Ago

Rain fell softly on a quiet street.

A younger Eisteth stood under a small umbrella.

Her hair was slightly messy from the wind.

In front of her stood someone with pink hair.

His eyes were gentle.

Warm.

He looked at her like she was the only person in the world.

"Eisteth," he said softly.

"You're late again."

Eisteth scratched her head awkwardly.

"Sorry… I got distracted reading manga."

The pink-haired man laughed quietly.

"You're hopeless."

But his voice was filled with affection.

He reached out and gently held her hand.

"Still… I like you exactly like that."

Eisteth froze.

Her heart beat strangely fast.

This memory felt warm.

Too warm.

They walked together under the rain.

Not saying much.

Just staying close.

As if that alone was enough.

Present – Hell

Eisteth gasped.

Her eyes widened.

"That… person…"

Her head throbbed violently.

Fragments continued to appear.

His smile.

His voice.

His hand holding hers.

The feeling of love.

A feeling she had completely forgotten.

Somewhere in Hell

Far away, in the dark districts of Hell.

A group moved silently through narrow alleys.

The followers of Amon.

Their leader knelt before a red crystal glowing like a beating heart.

The crystal pulsed with dark energy.

Amon's voice echoed in the shadows.

"Soon."

"The blood of sin will awaken."

The red crystal shone brighter.

"Find him."

"The descendant of Asmodeus."

The demon lowered his head.

"Yes… Lord Amon."

But they still had no trace.

No sign.

No location.

Only rumors.

A pink-haired human somewhere in the mortal world.

Lucifer's Castle

Lucifer stood silently by a large window.

Looking over the endless lands of Hell.

Suddenly—

His chest tightened.

A strange resonance passed through his body.

A feeling he hadn't experienced for centuries.

His eyes narrowed.

"…That presence."

It felt familiar.

Dangerously familiar.

Like a forgotten memory calling him.

Lucifer whispered quietly.

"Asmodeus…"

Back in the Garden

Eisteth held her head.

Breathing unevenly.

Fragments of the past still flashing in her mind.

And the face she saw again and again—

The pink-haired man.

Her lips trembled slightly.

"…Why do I feel like…"

"…I loved him?"

The system window flickered again.

New text slowly appeared.

SEALED MEMORY: 7% RESTORED

Eisteth stared at it in shock.

"…Wait."

"ONLY seven percent?!"

She slammed the table.

"How much trauma did past-me seal?!"

Somewhere deep inside her heart—

Something ancient was starting to awaken.

And far away in the human world…

A pink-haired boy suddenly stopped walking.

He placed his hand over his chest.

Confused.

"…Why do I feel like someone is calling me?"
