Chapter 6 - The Soul That Should Not Exist

Jinha looked at Jeigan and smiled softly.

"It's okay. If you don't want me to do it, I won't."

Jeigan blinked.

Inside his mind, his thoughts were completely different.

Jinha wants to touch my soul…

That's actually a good thing.

A small smile appeared on his face.

"No, no," Jeigan said quickly. "You can do it. I give you permission."

Jinha nodded.

"Alright then. Come with me to the garden."

"The garden?" Jeigan asked.

"Yes."

"Okay… let's go."

They walked out of the cafeteria and headed toward the university garden.

The garden was quiet and peaceful. A soft breeze moved through the trees, and sunlight filtered gently through the leaves.

Jeigan looked around in amazement.

"Wow… this place is beautiful."

Jinha stopped in the middle of the garden.

"Jeigan, come here."

He walked closer.

"Stand properly… and don't move."

Jeigan nodded.

"Okay. Whatever you say."

Jinha raised her hand slowly.

"I'm going to touch your soul now."

Her voice became serious.

"Deal of Soul… release."

At that moment, something strange happened.

Inside Jinha's chest, her heart suddenly started beating violently.

Thump.

THUMP.

THUMP.

Her eyes widened.

Why… is my heart beating like this?

It feels like someone is smashing my heart with a hammer…

Sweat appeared on her forehead.

Jeigan noticed her expression.

"Jinha… what's wrong?"

"You look nervous."

Jinha forced a smile.

"It's nothing."

She tried to stay calm.

"The deal is about to connect."

"Just wait a moment."

"Deal… accepted."

The moment the connection formed—

Something unimaginable touched her mind.

Jinha's consciousness plunged into darkness.

And then—

She felt it.

An endless presence.

A soul so vast that it felt like an entire universe.

Her mind trembled.

What… is this…?

This feeling…

It's like I'm touching the soul of an entire universe…

No…

It's even bigger than that.

Her breathing became unstable.

Her body began shaking.

"I… I want to understand it more…"

"But… I can't…"

Her vision started spinning.

Her eyes suddenly widened.

Blood began dripping from them.

"Ugh…!"

Her stomach twisted violently.

She coughed.

Then—

Blood spilled from her mouth.

"B-Blegh—!"

Her body collapsed.

"JINHA!"

Jeigan rushed forward in panic.

"Jinha! Jinha!"

Her body lay motionless on the ground.

Jeigan's hands trembled.

"What happened?!"

"Wake up!"

He quickly checked her breathing.

"…She's still breathing."

Relief mixed with fear flooded his chest.

"I need to take her to the hospital right now!"

Jeigan clenched his fist.

"Deal of Horse Power."

"Deal accepted."

His body surged with strength.

He quickly lifted Jinha and ran toward the university hospital.

Inside the hospital.

"Nurse! Nurse!" Jeigan shouted desperately.

"Please check her!"

A nurse rushed over and immediately examined Jinha.

Her expression became serious.

"Her condition is getting worse."

"Start CPR immediately."

"I'll call the doctor."

Jeigan froze.

"CPR… right now?"

He looked at Jinha's pale face.

There was no other choice.

"I have to do it."

He placed his hands on her chest and began CPR.

"Jinha!"

"Please wake up!"

He continued pressing with all his strength.

"Jinha! Jinha!"

The nurse returned with a doctor.

"Doctor, please check her!"

The doctor immediately began examining Jinha.

He looked at Jeigan.

"Who performed the CPR?"

Jeigan raised his hand nervously.

"I did, doctor."

The doctor nodded.

"Good job."

"You did very well."

Jeigan's eyes widened.

"…Really?"

The doctor continued calmly.

"Because of you, she survived at the last moment."

"Your CPR forced her lungs to function normally again."

Relief flooded Jeigan's face.

"So… she's okay now?"

"Yes," the doctor replied.

"She just needs to rest for about two hours."

Jeigan let out a long breath.

"Thank you, doctor."

The doctor left the room.

The nurse followed him.

Silence filled the hospital room.

Jeigan sat beside the bed.

He looked at Jinha's unconscious face.

"I'm really glad you're safe…"

Suddenly—

Jinha's fingers moved slightly.

Her eyes slowly opened.

Her voice was weak.

"Jeigan…"
