The deafening gunshots shattered the atmosphere as screams erupted.
Innocent workers....waiters and waitresses collapsed one after another, their lifeless bodies hitting the ground and staining the floor with their blood.
By the time Dante lowered his gun, five workers were already dead....three women and two men.
A heavy silence followed, broken only by uneven breathing and muffled sobs.
"Are you really going to kill us, Damien?" one of the mafia bosses called out, his voice trembling despite his attempt to sound composed. "You may be stronger than us, but we're still mafia. We have men here too. If you don't stop this madness, this ball will turn into a war zone."
Another man scoffed, though unease flickered in his eyes. "Besides… is she really your woman? You made the daughter of your enemy your woman? Seriously? Or is this some kind of sick prank?"
