He was Ethan, dressed in a white lab coat, a faint smile resting on his face.
"You…" Aria began, clearly startled. "What are you doing here?"
She quickly turned back and locked the door behind her before moving closer to him.
"Since when did you become a doctor?" she asked, her brows furrowed in confusion.
"There are a lot of things you don't know about me yet, Aria," Ethan replied calmly, his smile warm but slightly mysterious.
Aria slowly took a seat in front of him, still trying to process everything.
"I actually studied medicine, remember?" Ethan continued. "Since I didn't fully take part in the Mafia side of things." He shrugged lightly. "Well… I'm still part of the Mafia...it's in the family but it's not that serious. I'm not anyone's boss or anything like that."
Aria let out a heavy sigh, some of her tension easing.
"And when exactly did you study medicine?" she asked, her tone softer now. "Because I have absolutely no idea."
She leaned back slightly, exhaling again.
