Episode 31:
The Last Hope
Night came with smoke and silence.
The once-beautiful Moon Kingdom now lay in ruins. Broken towers, burning streets, and wounded soldiers filled the land that had once shined under the three moons.
Inside a hidden chamber beneath the palace ruins, the survivors gathered.
Arian, Luna, Lyra, the old wizard, and the last remaining commanders stood around an ancient stone table.
No one spoke at first.
The silence felt heavier than the war.
Finally, Luna whispered,
"This is my fault."
Arian turned to her immediately.
"No. This is the Dark Prince's fault."
"If I were stronger—" Luna began.
"You are strong," Arian said, cutting her off gently. "That's exactly why he fears you."
The old wizard stepped forward.
"There may still be one hope left."
Everyone looked at him.
He placed an ancient crystal map on the table. It glowed with pale silver lines.
"In the north, beyond the frozen moon cliffs, there is a place spoken of only in legend."
Lyra frowned.
"The Temple of Eclipse?"
The wizard nodded.
"Yes."
Arian looked at the map.
"What is there?"
The wizard's voice grew quieter.
"The source of the first Moon Flame."
Luna's eyes widened.
"That power was thought to be lost."
"Not lost," the wizard said. "Hidden. Waiting."
He looked directly at Arian and Luna.
"If the Moon Heart and the Moon Princess's power are united there… you may awaken a force great enough to defeat the Dark Prince."
Arian clenched his fist.
"Then that's where we go."
But Luna remained silent.
Arian noticed.
"What is it?"
Luna looked down.
"The Temple of Eclipse doesn't just awaken power," she said softly. "It reveals the truth."
Arian frowned.
"What truth?"
Luna lifted her eyes to his.
"The truth about what the Moon Heart really wants from us."
For a moment, the room went still again.
Outside, thunder rolled over the ruined kingdom.
The old wizard rolled up the map.
"There is no more time. If we stay here, we die. If we move, there is still hope."
Arian stepped beside Luna.
"We'll go together."
Luna looked at him, and despite the ruins around them, a small fragile warmth returned to her eyes.
Together, they turned toward the dark tunnel leading out of the fallen kingdom.
Behind them lay ashes.
Ahead of them lay truth, danger… and the last hope of two worlds.
